Knight Home Services installed a "Frost-Proof Hvy Duty Lawn Faucet, Anti-Siphon" back in July 2025,…read morewhich ended up being defective. When it got stuck and wouldn't let the water out in Sept 2025 it was repaired at no charge under the warranty. It was still under warranty when it happened again in Jan 2026, but a different employee came out, who proceeded to tell me that I had broken it because the hose was attached to it. I explained that I had attached the hose to see if the water was working since it had gotten stuck the day before and I could not use it. Then he said the wind had caused it and I had caused it and I kept telling him I had not done anything and the wind had always been here and it had never affected the spigot that had been here for 20 years and then he said it I could add a heating strip and/or insulation - and again I said none of those things were needed with the previous frost-free spigot and this spigot is defective. At first I wanted it replaced because it was defective - this had happened twice now - it was not bursting, it wouldn't let the water out and this particular time whatever was froze up inside of it thawed out between me checking it and Tim his employee checking it. He did absolutely nothing to fix it and was surly and rude to me. I thought he had left to go back to the office and speak to his boss about it; instead he walked around in my yard without my permission, and apparently talking on the phone to his boss, because he came back to the front door and when I opened it, he put the phone out and said his boss wanted to speak to me so I took the phone, and his boss proceeded to shout at me, ranting in a nasty tone and repeating that I had left the hose on it and caused it to "freeze and bust" and told me that at least 10 times and I kept trying to speak and tell him it did not "freeze and bust" because it was working again! He was so rude and belligerent and I refused to be disrespected like that and handed the phone back to his employee, Tim. The owner Travis Knight, was such a bully and so rude to me because he did not want to honor the warranty. Today he called and left a message wanting me to call him. At this point I will not give him another opportunity to speak to me that way again. I texted him to inform him of that and to also inform him that neither he nor anyone associated with him can enter onto my property or they will be charged with trespassing. I will no longer accept a replacement and want to be refunded in full and I want my money back immediately.

I was in distress over a situation with a new washer/dryer installation that required a licensed electrician within a short timeframe. (Jason is also insured.) I found him by all his 5-star reviews on the internet. Jason was professional, helpful and kind. He listened to my need, asked for photos to help him identify the issue prior to arrival, and came first thing the next morning with his son Caleb (who is being trained and is a great sidekick helping his dad). Jason quickly identified the problem that required replacing a grounding wire for the new digital dryer technology and to ensure safety. He said he would also install a new breaker and place the new outlet in a more convenient spot for installation of the new W/D set. He made arrangements to come back the following morning with the needed supplies. It is an older, solid-built home. It wasn't an easy fix and required patience and persistence especially to get the line through small and thick materials within confined spaces. They worked tirelessly to complete the job without complaint and were kind and provided explanation throughout the process. Jason also looked at my dishwasher to determine that there was no power and found the problem to be at the junction at the floor. He corrected that, but the dishwasher is older and is not working correctly and is being replaced. He deemed it was a problem with the dishwasher and not an electrical issue. I am extremely satisfied with Jason and his son Caleb, the knowledge they brought, their attention to detail, the tenacity to complete the work professionally in a timely manner, and their kindness and reassurance to me. It gave me confidence that I now have a safe electrical environment for installation. I highly recommend them for your electrical work. I'll be putting him on speed dial!

I needed someone to check the electrical system for a 1969 house that we were going to buy. The owner, Jason, gave an estimate and let us know what needed to be fixed. The inspection price was very reasonable and he was able to check out the house quickly. The sellers used him to update the electrical system before we moved into the house. Because no one could be in the house during the process, the sellers chose to move out several days prior to closing. Overall, he was very professional, priced reasonably and kind. Rolen Electric is hands down the most professional company I've done business with in our area…read more Jennifer, who manages the office side and Andy, who works in the field and replaced my electrical panel were both very responsive to my nonstop questions. More importantly they are HONEST and do very good work for an amazing price. Not only did Andy come in way under what he estimated for the work he did, he also finished it sooner than expected. I normally do all of my own work because I've been burned in the past by other contractors and have even changed panels out myself, but I preferred to have this one done by a professional electrician so it would pass inspection as I'm selling my home and I'm not familiar with all of the code requirements. I spoke with many other electrical contractors before settling on Rolen Electric and given my own background, I knew that some of those other contractors were lying to me about what they said needed to be done. Additionally, some of them were charging more than twice what Rolen charged me. Some of the other contractors I spoke with either flat out dishonest or didn't know what they were doing because I knew that some of things they said were not true. One of them was giving me a quote on some other work that I wanted done inside my panel before I decided to have Rolen Electric replace it. Not only did the other contractor flat out lie to me about what need to be done, his quote was HIGHER than Andy's for much less work that would have taken no more than 2 hours. I kept asking that other contractor why the quote was so high for something so simple and he would never give me a straight answer and would only say it was "for materials." He knew I was on to him because he stopped answering my questions. In short, if you are having any type of electrical work done I would not use anyone other than Rolen Electric.
