First off, Im talking for my mom who is patient. These AMAZING google and YELP reviews are BOUGHT. I was bribed with a gift card to leave a review. That to me is unethical and shameful to see all these reviews were bought with a gift card and they wouldn't be here elsewhere with the bribe. I have been to a few ENT in the area. They are all just fine. Providers see you, care for you and go on about there business. This one in particular made me wait for an hour and a half for an appointment. THAT is when you use a gift card as an apology for a long wait. Not a review. Dr was fine. Kinda felt like I was wasting his time with my issue which I wish I can fix but I can't prescribe antibiotics. So moral of this review is to let people know THESE REVIEWS ARE BOUGHT. read more

I saw Dr Wiggenhorn several times for continued sinus issues. After a CAT scan of my sinuses, he said " they are infected so we will operate and fix things". I didn't object though I should have right then and there. The surgery went fine, he fixed the deviated septum and gave me a nasal roto-router. Unfortunately he failed to stop by my room in the hospital the first day, and then the second day. It wasn't until the nurses called him repeatedly that he released me from the hospital, sight unseen. I wear a CPAP that blows air into my nose to sleep set at 16 cm of pressure. The Doctor did not seem to think about that and I could not use the machine for about 4 weeks. In other words I tried to sleep sitting up in a chair and choking on my sleep apnea. After a week I had a follow-up appointment which is the time he decided to tackle the E. Coli infection in my sinuses. As I see it, this should have been done PRIOR to the surgery. In my opinion, a horrible doctor, no bedside manner, but a competent staff. His assistant is a capable young woman who seems to care about her customers more than the doctor. My advise is find another ENT. Perhaps Dr Headley in Phoenix next to St Joseph's hospital, who an excellent ENT doctor. read more

Attempted to schedule a disabled individual for septoplasty as he is unable to pass air through either nostril, and it was explained to staff prior to the appointment that he is non-verbal and unable to follow directions, they said this would not be a problem. We received a call from the office 2 hours before our appointment to let us know that they were cancelling (I'm pretty sure they owe us $25 for a same day cancellation) because Dr. Wiggenhorn didn't feel like doing the surgery to allow this disabled individual to breathe through his nose was 'worth it'. Every concern voiced by the office manager was met with an explanation of the plan in place including 24/7 nursing care through the entire recovery process, but they felt that 'he could hurt himself in the future' and the surgery would be 'all for nothing' and they aren't willing to take on that liability as if a child doesn't risk falling or getting hit in the face while playing, that an adult doesn't risk an elbow to the face while playing basketball or an airbag in an accident. Despite the preparation and planning for this individual, the physician refused to even see him in clinic or discuss the matter. Horribly disappointed that this practice doesn't believe that the quality of life for a disabled person is worth their time. read more

This has been the worst doctor's office and staff I have ever had to deal with. I need to have sinus surgery is what Dr. Wiggenhorn said. He said that he needs to put a button in my nose due to the last surgery I had made the hole too big. He set me up for the surgery. I explained to his staff that I go to pain management and they need to contact them to get my pain medication set up. A few days before my surgery they still have not called into pain management to have my pain medication ready for after the surgery. On the day of the surgery, I still told them again that they need to get all paperwork to pain management. I was blown office. I went in for surgery and when Dr. Wiggenhorn was going my surgery I woke up during the surgery. The doctor keeps saying don't kick me, give her more medication. After the surgery, they did not even give me the aftercare paperwork or kit to are for myself. I had to drive back to there office and pick one up. I had to return to the office more than once due to my nose would not heal. When I returned to my other doctors' appointment at pain management where see the doctor for my back pain. They explain to me that Estrella's ear, nose, and throat never called them about having surgery. Thank God Susan the nurse knows me and knows that I do not use drugs. I had to take a drug test to get my pain medication for my back. Susan the nurse from pain medication called them a question of why they did not see them over the information about my surgery. The next time I went to Estrella they gave me my nest appointment card for there surprise location but made the appointment for there Avondale location. The doctor had me drive to Avondale to see him after the surgery. The office staff put me in the room to see the doctor. I was there for an hour and I came out of the room and asked if I could use the bathroom. The doctor looked at me and said I didn't even know you were here. They never told him I was in the room. When the doctor finally saw me that when he told me the button he put in my nose is too big. He said that we can give it a little more time to see if get better. So that what we did. I made an appointment for when my college classes were over to have this button looked at again. I get a reminder message on my phone about my appointment for Monday the 18th at 9 am. I go to the office to find the doors locked. I call them on the phone and the girl that answered the phone said we moved our office. I asked her why wasn't that information told when you all left a message in my voicemail about my appointment. I got the address from her and asked if the doctor was still going to see me. She said yes. I drove to the new office to find people standing outside and was told I had to call or text to let them know I was there and could go sit in my car. Then I was told I had to have a mask to be seen. I understand the mask thing but you would think they would have also left that in a message too or even told me when I called for the new address. This is a doctor's office and they do not even have a mask to hand out to the patients and was just going to turn them away. For one I have to take the mask off for the doctor to look at my nose. I drove to the hospital across the street and they gave me a mask. I'm now back at the doctor's office waiting to be seen. There was a man waiting because they never called his medication after surgery too. Thee are people calling on the phone about why weren't they told about the address change. I finial get put in the room to see the doctor. Dr, Wiggenhorn comes into the room that I am waiting in. He made at me for being upset with his staff that has made this whole experiment a nightmare for myself. He starts getting on me. I told him I understand the mask thing but his office need to tell people not just let them find out when they arrive. He said well in on our web page. For one why am I going to look at there web page when I have already been seen here. I tried to explain to him how his office has bad communication from the first time I have seen him. He was rude and would not listen to what I had to say except if you don't like it here why you come back. I told him because you put this button in my nose that too big from what you told me before and I need it out due to in still getting sinus infections. He then tells me I would have never told you that. Well ok, he did how would I know this them. When I saw his nurse before she gave me a medication to up in my nose to try and help the infection. I have to clean my nose with a Q-tip due to everything in my nose get stuck on top of the button he put in my nose. This doctor was being very unfriendly and said what do you want them. I told him I want the button he put in my nose out cause it not helping. He got mad and said then you're going to have a big holen your nose. The doctor put the chair back said this is going to hurt and not be pleasure full you at all. He was very mean. Have to see new doc read more

I was referred to this practice from my Neurologist's office to test for ongoing swallow issues and to rule out MS. When Dr. Wiggenhorn asked about my symptoms, he went as far as sending the scope through my nose and said he didn't need to perform the swallow test and stated that I had acid reflux. I asked to have the test done as ordered by my Neurologist and he said I didn't need it. I have had swallow issues for over a year, with episodes of choking on my food. The fact that I had paid such a large co-pay to NOT have the test done was unethical. He then asked if I had allergies and wanted to set me up for an allergy test. He is only interested in building his allergy client base and not interested in true patient care. I will never refer anyone to this clinic. Thumbs down! read more

Dr. Wiggenhorn is fantastic! He takes his time and does not rush his patients. He is also amazing with kids - he performed surgery on my 12 year old Daughter. She was very nervous and scared when we arrived at the hospital. After a few minutes visiting with her she was very comfortable and ready for surgery! read more

Decent doctors office, clean office but my issue with my visit is more of something they should consider as a standard. I wasted my time, money, and breath. If you are considering see this doctor for what is known as 'tonsil stones', do your research and don't waste your dollars. As a practice, rather than taking advantage of the situation with an easy appointment, a doctor needs to be more proactive and upfront. There is no feasible fix. When I made my appointment, they asked what I was coming in for; I replied "tonsil stones." Whether the receptionist tells you then or a nurse practioner calls you later, they should inform you over the phone there is really nothing they can do but you are still more than welcome to come in. Because this is a specialist, there is no small co-pay fee. I was not happy about the situation where they felt justified to bring me in the office for all of maybe 10 minutes, take my blood pressure, look in my ear and nose and then have me leave with nothing more than I already knew. I had done my research prior and knew everything there was to know about them. The only thing the doctor told me is he wouldn't take out my tonsils even if I begged him, great! I don't want them out. Although, like I said before, you knew what I was coming in for, save us both the time and give me a 5 minute phone call. Its just frustrating how the medical world takes advantage of the small things and a lot of the time overlooks the big things, this is a perfect example. read more

We were referred to Dr Wiggenhorn from her PCP. She had many ear infections so they said we needed to see an ENT. We saw Dr Wiggenhorn and he was very nice. His staff was also very helpful and nice. He did her ear tubes with no issues. His office also caught that she had a bilateral hearing impairment after her tubes were placed. I am very thankful for this! He also did her her tonsil and adenoid removal. I was pretty stressed about it and he reassured me several times, he even talked to me in the middle of the night when I panicked. He is also my allergist. His allergy staff and scheduler is great too! I have referred several people to him and they have had great experiences. read more
