Please please please go to this place !!…read more First of all the place it's super cute and clean. Eddie and Jorge are just amazing ,they are so kind and attentive. For right now even though they are short in staff the food and attention given to us was on point. Now for the food, the sampler was so authentic it had empanadas, croquetas which is ham croquettes, yuca fritters and corn fritters called sorrullos and pollo frito. That was delicious. The chuleta kan kan which is a massive piece of pork chop was cooked to the perfection and it's actually shareable. So even though it's 38 dollars you do get a lot for your buck. Have that with a side of white rice and beans and tostones de pana it's a little different from the regular tostones. Ok moving on.... Trifongo with shrimp scampi was so on point the flavor was creamy not runny at all. And very flavorful. Chicharrón de pollo con trifongo. Great Mar y tierra was a very small portion the steak although small was very juicy. The flan was great and the coffee to end the meal . But my input of this place it's literally like your Puerto Rican mother was cooking these meals in your kitchen..

We expected a place called Latin Flavors to be a great mix of a few Latin cuisines. We didn't…read moreexpect it to be perfect due to its current rating, but we did expect food to be edible. We walked in and were greeted by a very nice gentleman who treated us spectacularly. We had our pick of tables..... we were also the only ones in there. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, and the chicken plate with rice and beans. I'm going to jump right in: The black beans tasted like they'd dumped the entire cumin condiment jar in by mistake. The cuban sandwich had the wrong ingredients and was odd tasting. The chicken breast was chewy like I'd been in a microwave. And the kicker....... The rice was at least a day old and reheated. This is unacceptable. I understand maybe some things were from the day before as often black beans can be, but not every single item. Not for a restaurant. This is your one job. We quietly left most of our meal, paid our bill and left never to return. The worst part was feeling duped. The one waiter and the one cook there acted like this was a great meal cooked to order, and they'd done all this work super fast. As fast as a microwave could warm it up. Gross. I'm not sure what was happening behind the scenes but that one meal cost you return customers.

This family-owned and operated restaurant in Melbourne is totally unique, blending Chinese and Latino influences in a way that feels natural, creative and deeply personal. You can taste the care in everything they make. The flavors are fresh, balanced and bold without being heavy, and the ingredients taste like someone in the kitchen is paying close attention. The spring rolls are crisp, bright and full of flavor. The empanadas are the kind of thing you order once and then think about later. The Thai chili wings hit that perfect sweet, spicy and savory balance. And then there is the "So Dang," a dish that feels like a brilliant hybrid between pad see ew and pad thai, but with its own identity. It is the kind of dish that makes you stop mid-conversation and ask, "What exactly am I eating, and why is it this good?" That is actually part of the experience here. Every conversation seems to turn into a discussion about the food. Other customers have their own stories of discovering Chez Quan, trying something they would not normally order, and realizing they had just found something special. Chez Quan feels like the kind of place locals might quietly want to keep for themselves. But food this fresh, this creative and this memorable deserves a bigger spotlight. I left wanting to come back and try everything on the menu... and I will.

Started with her choice on Thai Tea then Tostone and Spicy Minced Basil Chicken with two sides hot sauce. My favorite meal yet here in Melbourne and told son this is a weekly when I leave.
