Today was my first time with Debbie for some Brazilian sugaring. I was so pleased! Her "shop" is in a beautiful old home where other "spa" services are offered. Her area is large and spacious and clean. Her chair is also the most comfortable I've ever been on. She made me feel so comfortable. We chatted the entire time (which really helps to distract from any pain!). And she did a great job! Didn't use any tweezers...because there were no hairs left behind! Will definitely be going back! I'm a little late to review, but I cannot stop raving about this experience that I had with Debbie to everyone that I know!!!!! I went in and received a sugar wax and this is the first time that I ever received any type of waxing before and DEBBIE IS THE BEST!!!! I went in and I was very nervous...I was reading online and sugar waxing seemed to be a less painful approach, it's also very natural as it warms to your body heat there's no paper strips to rip off... so I said why not!! I told Debbie it was my first time and she was so nice she walk me through step-by-step on what she was going to do, she informed me on everything that is included with the process and aftercare, she was amazing!!! She was also very calm which naturally made me feel very at ease. I found out that I am a talker when I am getting waxed and Debbie was very lovely and just kept talking to me, about my move to NC, to local places to visit, she of course asked how I was doing, I'm telling you she is one of the nicest people I've ever met! I got my first Brazilian with sugaring from Deborah a couple of months ago. Since then I'm going there regularly. I understand that any girl would choose the best place for Brazilian. I chose this place after reading about the owner- Deborah and her education in the field. She is good and she has a great knowledge about her field. Not everyone can make you comfortable for this but Deborah can. She is super gentle and kind. She understands you and communicate with you through out the session. Deb is great! I have been for a wax (which I was LONG overdue for) as well as a facial. For the wax, she was quick and very thorough and kept the conversation going to keep me distracted. She was very professional, efficient and the room is very clean. I have already booked my next wax! I also went for a 90 minute facial and it was fabulous. My skin was glowing afterwards and I felt great. While the masks are drying, she gives a great massage! I will for sure be working with her on my skin care regime moving forward. Moving recently from LA I was worried about finding someone I trust, Deb took all that worry away. She is worth the 5 stars! As others say, her services are a bit pricey but they are well worth it. Best wax experience I've ever had! At spas I've been to in the past, the staff was more concerned with getting you in and out. I had a wonderful experience with Debbie today for a full Brazilian waxing. I was 15mins late for my appt. coming from work. I called Debbie to ask if she would still like for me to come or reschedule and to my surprise she told me to still come!! This was my 1st waxing in a LONG LONG time (I'm talking a few years since my last one) so basically I asked Debbie to treat me as if this was my first waxing. Debbie was very personable and we decided to do waxing and my next go round we will do sugaring. Thank goodness Debbie is classified as a speed waxer! She also had gentle hands (this makes a difference if you have ever been waxed by a heavy hand). As you can imagine it was pain as expected but I remember my pervious experiences at other places a lot more painful. This was my first time being waxed with cream wax and not hard wax. I appreciate that she's didn't have to rewax several places that she had already pulled from! Debbie and I communicated with small talk when I could. Overall Debbie was fast, clean, and friendly! Debbie is the REAL deal. I have been seeing Debbie monthly since September 2015 for eyebrow waxing and her amazing facials *swoon*. I kid you not, she has literally transformed my skin from being dull and dry to bright and hydrated.
