I try to present the good and the bad, so having covered a lot of good: We have had encounters with a couple of rude employees (but far more of them have been nice). And they need to do a better job of keeping up the karts; there were seatbelt issues on several karts that I recently drove, and one kart had the front cowling pushed back so far that my fingers were squashed against the steering wheel in turns. You fill out a waiver and take a picture at the beginning as they print out your times. (don't forget to pick a killer nick name) They let around 7 people race at a time and while you wait for your turn you can order food and watch on the track. Drinks are only for after you drive. They have a quick 5-minute training video to tell you all the do and don'ts. You can bring in your own cake if you are going for a birthday. The actual racing was so fun. I was very out of my element so obviously I didn't do well and crashed into the side of the railings. Beyond embarrassing but the workers ran to help me and were so concerned. I was not hurt at all just stuck in the barrier and very embarrassed. I finished the race and followed the rules of the flags that they wave. I did have to sign a form after to make sure I was okay. Travis the bartender and Matthew were so nice after I... crashed. lol I'm sure that is a rare experience as I suck at this stuff but it was a great time! The ranch is owned by the Prince family, and has been since 1992. They can accommodate over 40 guests, but you would never know that there were that many people in the ranch because their attention to detail and guest obsession is top notch. Everything they do is all about that single guest. All of the ranch hands are top notch. They excel in character, respect, and manners for all of the guests. The ranch activities range from horseback riding, to skeet shooting, to fly fishing and much more. Almost all of those activities are included in the package, except white water rafting and massages. The owners, Christine and Dickie Prince, make sure the experience lives up to each and every guest's expectation. Each horseback ride is different and exciting. The chief wrangler, Madii, paired up each guest with the perfect horse for the week, and honestly, it was a magical week. At the end of the week, they hold a guest rodeo, where each of the guests compete against one another in events like barrel racing, pole bending, and keyhole racing. All in all, it is a very exciting trip. I brought my wife and my two grown children to this ranch and they were drawn in to its charm and, frankly, we were all sad to see the week end. We were treated like family the entire time we were there and have already committed to return next year. While we were there, we discovered this ranch was chosen by USA Today as the #1 dude ranch in America. We researched 14 ranches before picking this one and we agree with USA Today. If you are looking for the perfect family vacation away from the commercialism that is typical of all inclusive vacations, I highly recommend Cherokee Park Ranch. Your family might end the week like mine - missing the comradery, the fun, and the attachments made that will last a lifetime. If I could give this ranch more than 5 stars, I definitely would do so. The lights were beautiful and the music was great- I would have loved if you could have heard it throughout the area. There are definitely some areas where things weren't working correctly, like speakers not working and lights burnt out. These aren't deal breakers for me and we still had a lot of fun! We will be coming back for sure.

I can't remember which course has the talking tree, but that was fun and unique. No matter which course you start on your last course will be the volcano. The volcano will erupt if you shoot the ball in the current location. If you don't, it has a water effect - if you are in the wrong place (or maybe the right place in the summer) you will get drenched with water. My nephew really enjoyed the shooting arcade which has funny and silly items in which to aim. There is a place to get food such as burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and dipping dots. There are also tables where you can eat your meal/dessert. There is a large parking lot with free parking. This is a really fun summer outing!

This is not an event where everyone is welcome--Not even all Americans. For me, it was jarring to see people who claim to love America being so at ease with hating so many Americans. I gave it two stars (rather than one), because it was otherwise a fun show. Mutton busting is amazing. Great performers and competitors showcasing Western culture, marred by an announcer wanting to show off his prejudices.

The people there were extremely helpful. They helped her in and out of the go kart and really took care of her. It is so nice having young adults take care of seniors and watching the seniors have fun. This place is definitely senior friendly. My wife has been there twice now. Highly recommend.

Plenty of places to just park your car, unload and get to riding. We love this place!

Behind the track is a large pit area where racers set up and work on their cars. The amount of help I have gotten from the other racers cannot be measured. When not asking for help, help is offered anyway. Everyone works together to make sure everyone has what they need and has a great time. It really is a great community here. Outside is a small rock crawling course as well as a large turf track. I have yet to run on it but have watched videos and it looks like a blast. I look forward to running outdoors in the summer.
