I think customer service sucks and should give me answers that I am not getting except pass the buck to someone else that doesn't know anything either.

I'll start off saying I'm a bit biased... I hate DHL…read more I buy lots of stuff online from a lot of different countries/places. I receive packages from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and occasionally DHL. Every transaction I've ever had with DHL was a problem. My recent transaction with no exception. DHL was supposed to deliver it to my house and LIED stating that I was not home and that no one answered the door. Oddly enough, my Ring camera proves that no one actually came to the door. Thanks DHL. This was a package I had to sign for and I was part of a wedding the next two days so this was the only chance I could sign for the package in a convenient amount of time. Thankfully... There was an option to have the package shipped to aDHL Express. Oddly enough, the closest DHL Express is almost 20 miles away from my home. The package arrived quickly at the pick up location and I actually got really nice service at the pick up location. But, It's a trailer in the middle of a parking lot... Wow. Thankfully, the package arrived safe and is in my hands... But, like usual DHL you made this interaction harder than it needed to be.

Four days later, the package shows as never having been picked up by UPS and has not been delivered. Contacting UPS Customer Service gave me no resolution and going to the store did not as well. Very disappointing experience. I was originally quoted around $370 for two movers. I understood…read morethat I would be paying for travel time there and back, but once they arrived at my house, suddenly the pricing was different and there were additional charges, including the truck, movers, travel time, and a $100 deposit. I was in a situation where I needed to move out quickly, so once they were already at my house, I really didn't have much choice but to proceed. What made it worse was that they would not start working until the payment situation was settled, but the clock was still running while we were discussing the charges. Because of that, I ended up getting only about an hour and a half of actual moving work. The most uncomfortable part was when I tried to pay part of the amount in cash. The mover was on the phone with Chris, and Chris wanted proof that I actually had the cash. I was told to fan out my cash and have a picture taken of it to send to Chris as proof of payment. I found the whole situation bizarre, degrading, and extremely unprofessional. I've never had a legitimate business ask me to display my cash and photograph it just to prove that I could pay them. In the end, I paid over $500 for less than two hours of actual work--and all they were doing was moving my belongings from my house into a POD. I went into this expecting the cost to be a little over $350 based on what I had been told, and instead ended up paying considerably more. My biggest issue isn't simply that it cost more. It's that the pricing I was expecting and the pricing I was presented with once they were already at my house were very different. When you're in the middle of moving and need the job done that day, you feel like you're stuck with whatever they're telling you at that point. Based on my experience, I would not use All My Sons again. If you consider using them, I strongly recommend getting every single charge--including travel time, truck fees, deposits, and exactly when the hourly clock starts--in writing before the truck ever arrives.
