I have been coming to this Salon since 2018. Phoung has been helpful and very professional. I look forward to my appointments. My husband does too. read more

Cancelled my 2 kids haircuts the night before (10am appointments) after I already confirmed.

I have had my hair cut here several times. I have suggested more care to happen in an area. She's argued with me, but I overlooked it hoping she'd use more care. This time was very bad. I don't live right in the area so it took me a little bit to get back there. Also; I was concerned about her reaction--very oppositional if you point anything out. This time it was something I couldn't live with. I stopped there, and again she was very oppositional and argumentative. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I would think she'd want to stand by her work, but that's not what happened today. So I'll have to live with it till I can find someone else. You'd think $65 would get you some great results!! Nope!!! Not here, Pfong!!!! I really tried to be very diplomatic, but she wouldn't meet me any where close to half way read more

Thought we had an understanding. Amy did a great job listening the first time around. This time I went in and my Hair was in great shape. All I needed was a trim and clean it up. Walked out with a split in the top back of my head that is awful. My hair I was growing it out to put the sides behind my ears. Now I have nothing but a few strings of hair that barely come to my ear. it's amazing how the person cutting your hair just stops doing what you want. And they are oblivious to you being in the chair. The scissors just keep going and when they finally stop because they don't hear you saying it's to short you now have to go another 4 months. Just to get back to where you were in the style you want. So very sad. On the hunt for a new stylist again. read more

Very pleased! Shampoo and scalp massage were wonderful and my haircut was spot on. I explained what I wanted and very happy with result. Only disappointment was on line stated one price and when checked out it was higher. I will be a repeat customer. Friendly and personal service. read more

As a new Florida resident I'm very happy to find this salon, Phuoung was very pleasant and did a great job cutting/styling my hair! I would definitely recommend her and I plan to be a regular customer. read more

I rated this salon a 5 last year but my experience with Sheila has gone downhill. I still like the salon and will ask for anyone but her. She charges arbitrarily; I ask what I'll be charged ahead of time so I'm not surprised at the end. She quoted a price then charged more. She was very rude the last time, and I told her she was not nice (yet it was a good cut). I can't understand why she would be so rude unless she has so many clients she can be unkind. Good for her. She's lost me as a customer (I am a generous tipper) but I feel like the other hairdressers are professional. I will try the salon again. read more

I rate Phoung as an A+ Cutter and an A Stylist! I have never been disappointed in either my cut or my color. I have very fine short hair and most hair stylists do not have the skill set to cut, style or color my hair. Phoung does a great job every time! I highly recommend Phoung Lee and her daughter! read more

Horrible customer service! Big sign stating "Walk-ins welcome" outside but that was not the case. Two employees just stared when we came in, no greeting, nothing. Sat for 10 minutes, still nothing. They must be writing their own favorable reviews because they are not worth trying. read more

This place is the worst hair salon. My wife had appointment for highlights. The whole thing was a disaster. When she arrived they were not sure how to do highlights. The hair stylist said she only knows how to do hair frosting through a cap. She said the price would also go up for longer hair. Then they blamed my wife for booking highlights with a stylist that doesn't do highlights, when that was what the appointment was for. They started her hair, then with half of her hair dyed, the hair stylist did another customers haircut. They told her they would finish the rest of her coloring after. My wife alerted them that her hair was getting over colored after it being in for so long. She also said in all of her years of getting hair colored, she never experienced it being done one part at a time. She ended up spending 6 hours there, for half her head to be colored. They washed it out and her hair turned bleached straw white. She told them she did not feel comfortable doing the rest since her hair was so damaged and they still insisted on charging her. (Though not the full price originally quoted). I went in with her to ask for the owner or manager and she said she was not there, when we saw her. They told us they would have her call and she never did. Finally we called and got through and the woman was very rude, yelling on the phone and using profanities towards us. She ended up going elsewhere, and it ended up costing hundreds of dollars to fix the damage this place did. With so many options out there, go where you can be treated with respect and actually have a decent job done. We are still in shock at the way the owner yelled at us on the phone. Screaming "you so stupid, don't know you are talking about. Your wife lying to you." Out of control. The other salon we went confirmed her hair had been badly damaged and over processed. read more

We took our 11 month old to get his first and second hair cut there! They are so sweet and reasonably priced!

Went to Estero Family Salon yesterday for the very first time. Have been getting my hair cut in Bonita Springs for several years. Decided to try a place that is so much closer to home. I was excited yet nervous but as soon as I walked in I knew I was in for a wonderful experience. I met MaryLou, the stylist who was going to cut and color my hair. She knew instantly what I wanted and she did not disappoint. During the course of my appointment we became fast friends, shared many life experiences in common, and before you knew it, I was done. By far, THE BEST cut and color I've had. I walked out of there on a cloud and can't wait for my next appointment. Prices = SO REASONABLE! read more

Received an excellent haircut from Phuong yesterday. Definitely will return. JD read more

This is my third time coming here. I found this place and had a great first experience maybe a year ago. Obviously the hairdressers with talent must have left since then. My most recent visit I sat down, and told her I just needed a trim. She insisted I cut off nearly two inches of split ends, to which I agreed. The biggest issue is that when framing my face she basically cut me side bangs again which I had spent the past 2 years growing out. Thanks a lot!!!!! I am leaving for a trip in a week and now half of my hair will not go back in a ponytail. Also, I am a student and told my hairdresser that, but she still charged me 20$ and would not walk up to the front counter to give me change. Very unprofessional and will not be going back. read more

New to the area and Found this place with groupon. Brought the whole family - mom, dad, & two boys. Couldn't be happier. Family business. Amazing prices, and just as importantly, fabulous cuts. The women paid attention to detail, even on the children's cuts. They took the time to understand what we wanted and were sweet and capable. Even if we didn't have the groupons, their prices are outstanding for everything, from coloring, to cut. I'm trying to grow out my hair but needed to have a style I could manage at the same time. I am so happy with how my hair looks I may keep it just like this. They understand that a buzz cut shouldn't cost the same as a men's style and charge just $10 for one and $15 for the other. I will be taking the time to come to Estero from Naples every time. read more

Went here for our haircuts today and she did a great job as always HOWEVER the owner said she is NOT participating in the Yelp discounts and would not honor my coupon so now I have to request my money back from yelp which would have saved me $ read more

I went to this salon after a number of my neighbors recommended it via the "NextDoor"app, I wanted to get a keratin treatment - first time. Neighbors recommended requesting the owner, Phuong. Estero Family Salon is a new salon and is very nicely done. There are tvs on the wall to help pass the time. Phuong said she took the space over from a barbershop. Phuong spent almost 4 hours doing the keratin treatment, and my hair looks fabulous. AND the price was extremely reasonable, especially compared to prices in the DC area. She also charged me LESS than I expected, because she said I had shorter hair. Anyway, I told my mom to go to get the same treatment from Phuong and she ended up also getting a cut and color and her hair also looks amazing. I will be going back for a color touch up and cut later this month. Great find! read more
