Not a metro station, Estación de Santos is a train station in Santos-o-Velho neighborhood. It serves the Comboios de Portugal line between Lisbon's Cais do Sodré, Oeiras and Cascais along the southern coast. An automated ticket vending machine will sell a ticket and yes, it does have an "English" button so I could understand the prompts for "one-way" or "return" and "where are you headed." There were conductors checking tickets on both of my journeys so I wouldn't recommend trying to ride without a ticket.
This is a simple above ground station with minimal cover from the elements. If it's raining, you're getting wet. The station has two tracks with a small waiting area building (it was closed and boarded up this morning) and a pedestrian overpass.
There are a bench or two but that's all. On Av. 24 de Julho, you can expect regular tram and bus service. Across the way is Calçada Ribeiro Santos and there are local buses there too.
