La Elipa is actually handicapped accessible, which is a welcome feature on Madrid's metro. Perhaps because the station is relatively new, opened in 2007. It serves line 2 of the metro between La Almudena (towards Las Rosas) and Ventas (towards Cuatro Caminos). The station features side platforms and the doors of the train open on the left.
There is a ticketing concourse with the usual automated ticket vending machines and turnstiles. There is also an ATM.
Decent signage to get from the platform to street level.
