When the confirmation came in, it looked like the same tour name, Gothic, but when I checked in for the 9am tour, it was clarified that the 3pm tour would be different, Gaudi Modernism. Reservations online were quick and easy. It costs 3 euro to hold a spot. I gladly paid the 6 euro for both. I took the 9am Gothic Tour on a Monday. So many people booked they called an extra guide. Many showed up without a reservation. There were three guides and we broke into three large groups. Juliana was great. She was little and didn't have an umbrella; we very temporarily lost her twice! But her knowledge and enthusiasm more than made up for it! She was also very personable. I highly recommend her! Natalia gave the Gaudi tour at 3pm. She was also extremely knowledgeable and patient; our tour involved getting the group on and off a metro to Familia Sagada. Would welcome her as a tour guide again. As per the custom, you decide the cost at the end. They took my dollars and euros. I highly recommend these tours!!!!

Second, great tour. We learned about the terroir- the soil, the atmosphere, how the cover crops help with the soil. The biodynamic principals of the winery mean they not only are organic, and use organic manure and special herbs in their compost (as well as cattle horns) but they also plant, and trim vines and harvest according to the phases of the moon. We tasted a cava, a white called cosmic- 10 euros, a red called Indigena (2013)- 10 Euros, and a red called Mas Irene (2014)- 16 Euros. They were all delicious. But I ALSO tried Music- a white dessert wine, with lots of honey notes, and raisin, but not syrupy at all- it was so good (21.50 euros) that I bought 2 bottles of that, 1 of Indigena, and 4 bottles of honey (5 euros each)- and they said the honey was from their own hives and was rosemary honey. It was very good. You can try it if you ask. Their olive oil is also fabulous- but you've got limits on how much you can carry home, so I had to pace myself. For the tasting we were given crackers and cheese and sliced sausage. We also got some bread to dip in the olive oil at the end of the tasting. The tasting room is lovely, and there is a gorgeous outdoor seating area. The story of the family is fascinating, and if you are in Spain, and you have the chance to go here- take it! I'm from the SF Bay Area like the other reviewer, and I'm a member of many wineries and I've worked at the wineries as a pourer (because who doesn't want to be paid in wine?) And I loved this place. I thought it might be too much of the same thing- that I'm used to at home, but not at all. If you are disabled, you will NOT be able to go to the cava caves via the steps. I'm mildly disabled and I opted not to do them- a lot of rather dark, narrow steps.

The tour itself was educational and fascinating - from previewing their wines, visiting the fields, composting area, barrel storage, cellars, and finally the tasting room! We tasted a white cava, a rose, and then a red wine. Pairings went with crackers, Machego Cheese, or dried salami. We also sampled their olive oil. Our gorgeous wine host gave lots of tips on serving wine and meals. She mentioned a very good snack is to dip bread in high-quality EVOO, add salt, and then grated dark chocolate. Both itineraries were excellent, and we could choose modifications to our itinerary and how long to stay in various spots. We had 4 people, and one had limited walking ability. They accommodated this nicely and the cars were very comfortable. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

We could not swing The Dark Past Night tour as we were busy on the days for the seasonal rotation. That has been one the family has talked about over the years and we just have not been able to swing with timing. With how exciting multiple guides have told us it is, we will be planning a set day around that on our next trip to Barcelona. The free aspect is nice as we can tip the guide the extra portion in my mind as it is them taking their own time to provide their years of knowledge to you in a fun interactive environment. The ride was beautiful as we came closer to Montserrat, the basilica was phenomenal, the market was amazing. I ended up purchasing two delicious cheeses - goat and truffle. The walk to the cross was challenging as we had limited time but well worth it. It's an uphill climb. I loved the family history of the winery. The stability of the family to keep the property in the family for 36 generations since 964 was incredible. The vineyards were started in the 1800's. The ambience was perfect with stone cellars and towers. Great place for an event. Loved it! If you go to Barcelona, DON'T miss it!

I suggest trying ai to delete the people if they are an issue for you. ChatGPT gives you some free but have to take 1 person at a time which would be unfortunate with this crowd so upgrade at least temporarily to the plus for I think 20 a month. My samsung phone provides free ai but like the other program it's pretty much 1 person at a time. Barcelona was a crowded city so if your like me and sometimes really want no strangers in your pictures try ai ... it doesn't always work immediately but usually does a great job. welcome to the new way to edit your pics. I wish I would've bought my tickets a little earlier so that we could've gone in the morning but I'm happy we got in anyway we took our baby in her front pack, which worked pretty well but at the same time I missed my stroller, but I feel like if I would've had the stroller there would've been a lot of carrying the stroller up and down things so I'm not really sure what you do there to win. Food options were very limited inside the park, which surprised me there were some vending machines and that was kind of it so we were pretty hungry. I would pack a picnic and do it that way where I had to do it again and I would also pack the picnic before getting off at either of the two close train stations where we got off there was like nothing towards getting food and then we went on the other way when we left, and that was all just really touristy, not great looking options
