Today, I was bringing 3 large slurpees to my poor sister-in-law and her boys. I had them in one of those cardboard trays, but because of the weight, it was a bit wobbly. Ramon to my rescue!! He is always so patient & kind to each of his customers - as if no one else exists on this planet but you. Today was no different. He saw me struggling and kindly packaged each slurpee in a plastic bag he tied at the top to insure the lid wouldn't pop off and gave me a more secure carrier to hold them in. I cannot thank this man enough. The service here is awesome - you're lucky if this is your 7-eleven!

When I go inside, I am always greeted and the staff is so friendly here. Yes, hard to believe for a 7-11 and a gas station! When I go inside I always buy a little treat and it ranges and depends on what I am craving. Always a great selection. Great staff, quick service and conveint location.

I arrived at the gas station minutes before closing but everything was open - no sign of anyone shutting down the gas station: The machine took my credit card, I started filling up and just after the first couple of "drops" of fuel everything went dark... No idea if and what I got charged, and no compassion from staff that I was just in the process of filling up: "come back tomorrow" was the answer I got once they figured out they had interrupted me... Worst Touch Free Car Wash Ever…read more I paid for a "Full Car wash". I noticed cars pulling out ahead of me did not appear clean. After the wash I parked and checked out the wash - the windshield was dirty to look through, outside of where the window wipers wipe, the car body was dirty and when I rubbed my fingers across the body it streaked and my finger tips were very dirty. I brought it to the operator's attention he said it wasn't dirty but gave me a 24 hr voucher for another car wash - although the voucher was for the cheapest quick wash whereas I paid for the second most expensive wash. The results were no better and I will never go back. There are other touch-less car washes which I frequent that do an excellent job. Granted, we should have checked the dates but you don't expect to have rotten food being sold in an ESSO. They clearly don't check their products on a regular basis. The lady working there (owner?) also continued to yell at my husband to pay (inside). She wouldn't stop yelling at him so he could let her know he was waiting for me to return to the car so he didn't have to carry in two kids. Needless to say, we won't ever be returning there again, even though it is closest to our regular Calgary destination.

I was…read moretrying to get a few things and I first ask him to grab me a white monster and a bag of sour cream and onion chips. He brings me two bags of chips that are not what I ask for and I tell him so politely. When we finally clarify what I'm asking for he says the store does not stock them and this is the closest to what I want (I could see the chips I was asking for through the window). I'm overstimulated at this point so I ask him for Doritos instead. He walks over to the cheetos which are right next to the Doritos (honest case of miscommunication) and he points to a bag, I shake my head. he points to a different bag of cheetos and I shake my head again. we do this a few more times till I decide to point at the bag I want (I try not to point like that, I know it's rude but I was overwhelmed) and hes following my direction for a minute until he he gives up and grabs a random bag of cheetos, I shake my head, but he brings it to the counter and scans it before gesturing for me to pay. I wanted to grab two more things and I really don't like cheetos, but at this point i was standing in the rain after being at the gym and had been doing this for a good ten minute so I pay and leave. it was a really stressful experience and I ended up buying something I didn't want because the guy got frustrated (I get that it was stressful for him but never in the two years that I've lived next to the gas station had he gotten an order right and I am start to feel like it's more than just miscommunication as every other person at that gas station is so sweet and patient and always gets it at least mostly right).
