Bought a sandwich tray for church from the deli and almost ate them all. Really good and LOOK good - artistically arranged. Recommend!

Another day, another bad experience... I arrived at the gas station minutes before closing but everything was open - no sign of anyone shutting down the gas station: The machine took my credit card, I started filling up and just after the first couple of "drops" of fuel everything went dark... No idea if and what I got charged, and no compassion from staff that I was just in the process of filling up: "come back tomorrow" was the answer I got once they figured out they had interrupted me... This is a good store with lots of variety , everything is fresh And it is extremely clean!! The produce is fresh with a good variety. There are a few organic selections as well. My only complaint is when stores put out mushy grapes instead of not putting out anything. For that reason I took one star off but besides that it would be five stars. I also had a Covid shot at the pharmacy here and it went really well and very fast with no lineup. You will enjoy shopping here. read more

I purchased two dry aged 28 days beef steaks of Friday before Christmas. When I tried to cook the steaks, at the same temperature and same time as I have done it dozens and dozens times before I realized that even though I payed for dry aged beef, what I received was regular steaks! Had I known they were out of dry aged meet I wouldn't have bothered. Its not the cost of the steaks but the greed and lying thats bothering me the most. I went to the gas bar to fill up and wash my car at 9:38 pm on Thursday evening. I purchased a car wash with my fuel and then found out they closed the car wash already. The posted hours are 6am - 10 pm. As far as I know you have posted hours for a reason and should be following them. Obviously there is no Management and Employees do what they want It is disappointing. read more

Terrible ! They have no bulk nuts and candy even though most stores put back bulk self serve. Having to use the extra plastic, not choose the amount due to pre-filled units, filled by another person...yuck. District Manager Wade called back promptly (that got one star) but he just presented a military style pro-lockdown, overreaction perspective as to why I have no choice at this co-op. read more

I'm impressed with the renovated Calgary Co-Op in Crowfoot! So many changes for the better - more international food items like frozen durian, frozen jackfruit, aged beef, new bakery, new deli, new curry bar, coffee roasted on site and made fresh, salad bar, pizza, entrees to go. There's also tables and chairs for people to eat and drink. Coffee comes in 3 intensities - mild, medium or bold. Tried the vindaloo curry and tikka masala. Very good. Comes with naan bread or basmati rice. Had the pizza as well - freshly baked - quite good. Salad Bar - this I love! So many different veges/cheeses/dressing for a fixed price. Comes in 3 different sizes. read more

Good market. Good produce and bakery departments. Meat department is decent but overpriced compared to some other local markets.

Hmmm. Finally went to check out the new cafeteria at co-op. Looked better than tasted. Pizza was cold and too cheesy! Butter chicken wasn't butter chicken and veggie soup was old. Hmm. Prob won't do that again. read more

I recently purchased a Fresh to go pizza from Crowfoot Co-op and was sadly disappointed. It looked good but when I got home, warmed it slightly and sat down to indulge, I found the toppings too sparse and the dough absolutely tasteless. Very disappointing. Won't be trying this pizza again for a while. Made me wonder how long the dough was allowed to rise and whether they use a cold rise - maybe too much yeast, I don't know. It was just cardboard. Bakery items look glorious on display but lack flavour sometimes. However, the Butter Chicken is almost 100% perfect. The only thing missing is fresh cilantro! All in all, the Fresh to go department is beautiful and a lovely new addition to one of Calgary's finest grocery stores just needs a little work. read more

Yumm yumm yumm... This is the new and improved Co-op? Please renovate ALL of them in town! They have a LOT of home-cooked quality food for very reasonable prices... where else can you get home-cooked hot lunch for as little as $6? And the curry is awesome! My new favourite place to eat in Crowfoot! and the staff are very friendly & helpful. Keep up the good work! read more

It is not Co-op's fault that they have rude customers but I want to alert other Caucasian women to a middle aged brown skinned man with a heavy accent who demanded to go in front of me in a regular check out line as he had fewer items. I pointed out to him that there was a cashier for fewer items but he refused to go there and kept bugging me. So to get rid of him I let him go before me and the cashier also told him there was a cashier for customers with fewer items, but he ignored her. These brown skinned new Canadian men who are middle aged need to understand that Canadian Caucasian women are not subservient to them as women appear to be in his country of origin. Next time he can wait until the cows come home but he is not going ahead of me. The cashier did her best, the man was just a jerk. read more

I do most of my shopping here and find that the fruit and pre-packaged items are cheaper than Safeway. However, what I love most about this store is the staff and the new deli. I had amazing food for a reasonable price as the deli. The staff were so accommodating and even heated up a cold item for me. I really like their cheesy feta pasta, salmon-wrapped crab, salmon salad, pork ribs, and mushroom salad. The manager even greeted us the day we ate there and after we ate in the seating area, asked us how we liked the food. Also, I have eaten there after the deli is closed and they have microwaves to heat up your food which is a nice touch. read more

We were standing at the deli and an employee was cleaning the window of the deli.. And we stood there for a minute and he did not say a word... Then we ask if there was anyone to help us and he said that he would help us when he finished cleaning the window.. Is this your standard of customer service? read more

since having a client on west side of crowchild I have made an easy effort to head east with intention of picking up some sushi for my din din on Tuesday nite...and first time that's all I picked up...tho I cud see pizzas flying from oven to boxes out the door...and a bit of a line up at the fresh to go counter. last week was first time I was able to actually get a chicken pizza...wow...delish...very little cheese and no tomato sauce but pesto sauce and lotso chicken and artichoke! yum times 4! its so reasonable...two pizzas for $10 and I divide it up in tin foil pouches and freeze a Cpl huge slices...makes for more than a meal for just me! i have tried the veggie and the hawaiian and both are good as well...not at all greasy! its Tuesday and I just called to pre-order...see how that works... read more
