Friend went on to pay inside, whereupon she was further harassed. His defective pin pad wasn't reading her card, so she removed it, and he got angry at her, claiming he was charged 90 cents every time she pulled out the card to try again. Despite the fact we just dropped $60 at his station. Would not go back again, ever. Staff was rude and unhelpful.

Stopped here today early morning for a quick Bathroom break. Well I think it will be my last as…read morewell. The Ladies washroom has graffiti all over the stall walls. The nearly overflowing uncovered garbage can in the stall was completely disgusting and unnecessary and totally avoidable. This was early morning so should be no excuse why the garbage was not taken care of prior to morning rush starting. The only thing decent was the liquid soap was not watered down like most gas stations and the fact that they had a Dyson hand dryer. Other than that, Esso please have your late night/early morning staff spruce up the washroom(s) when the store is empty/ not busy.

This is the ultimate gas station (on the southside that is)! I was passing by one night and saw the…read moresign "Open 24 hours now"- that's a good start. I decided to try it, even though my usual gas station of choice would be Shell. I like how they have new pumps which are entirely blue. It is a nice change from the usual red or black color you see at other gas stations. There are 12 pumps, so a lot of people can be accomodated. I was also impressed that their car wash was also open 24 hours. Few car washes in the city are open for this period of time, granted the temperatures are reasonable. What I was most impressed with was their drive-thru Tim Horton's...also open 24 hours! Sure you can go to the one across the street, but it's very convenient since you're already there. I realize this location will not stay 'new' forever, however there are a lot of convenient services located at one location, making it one of the best Esso's I have been to in the city.

Who doesn't love a Costco Gas station? This one is conveniently located right beside my house, so…read moreit's obviously my favourite one ;) What I love best about it is that even though it's right off the highway, the line ups are never insane like the south side location. Even if you do have to line up, you're usually no more than 3rd in the line. If you're not familiar with the joy that is the Costco Gas Station, there are some rules you MUST follow. First of all, there is only one direction. You can't come in the exit and pull up to a pump.... we all come in from the same way. Also, they have extra long hoses, so if you need to pull up to the wrong pump (on the wrong side of your vehicle) it will definitely stretch far enough and NOT have to pull across the roof of your car and scratch it. And finally, don't pop your hood and try to check your oil. Oh and don't try to wash your windows. This is not a service station, it's a gas station. End of story.
