Driving around one night I suddenly ran into a frequent problem with more drivers: low gas warning…read more I was distraught as it 2 in the morning on a Thursday night, and I didn't think anywhere would be open for gasoline. Luckily, I was passing by this location and noticed all the lights on. I drove up, noticed that all the pumps were still operations, and then quickly filled up my car with some much needed fuel for my late night driving. There is nothing really distinct about the appearance of the store located inside. It's the typical arrangement and item selection as most other gas stations. The fruit looks fresh, coffee seemed freshly brewed and none of the pastries were within expiration date. The cashier was very nice and pleasant, especially for 2 in the morning, and made small jokes about his experiences as a late night cashier. A refreshing experience especially when you have been driving by yourself for a while. There is also a car wash attachment to this station. I did not have a chance to use it, however it looks new and efficient, especially since this is a relatively new station. This is a 24 hour station, open 7 days a week, which makes it convenient for all of you late night drivers out there. There are a lot of stalls so a lot of cars can be accessing the pumps at once. Self-service, Pat-at-Pump, and PayPass are available at this location. Friendly and fast service? Fill me up please!

She told me to go back through and use the same code as she reset the machine, which isn't what I wanted but whatever, I'll take it just so I can get out of here. As i walked back out to my vehicle she chased after me and gave me a new wash code after all which was nice. Regardless though, she was incredibly rude for something that was out of my control.

There's also a magazine section, car items including windshield washer fluid, and instant food items. The prices aren't as high as I would expect for a convenience store. Sometimes they have a special on 2 litre pop if you buy 2 of them that is similar or cheaper to what you would pay in a grocery store. Although I don't come here often, it's nice to know if I need (or want) a treat, I don't have far to go.

Major stress to find that Hughes petroleum had new nozzles on their propane hose which would not longer fit on our angled inlet. Since we were on our way out of town for the weekend, major stress ensued til we found Primrose Husky in West Edmonton which had the older [multifit] nozzle. This may apply to many older campervans.

It seems odd to be reviewing a gas station, but I'll go ahead anyways. A few weeks ago, there was a…read moreshutdown with the Shell Scotford refinery , and throughout the city, locations were running out of gasoline. I remember scrambling through 2 other locations before I found some here. Why go through all that trouble? Well I'm a motorhead and I need premium gasoline for my car, and when it comes down to premium fuel, I prefer Shell's V-Power formula. It cleans and protects your engine as you run it, as their gasoline blend contains a high concentration of nitrogen. Anyways, this location never seems to run out of gasoline, and there is never a long line up for their pumps either. I rarely have to wait whenever I'm at this location, and the payment inside is almost immediate. I find their store to be very small, with a very limited selection of snacks or magazines. I know I'm not shopping for either here, but it's something I noticed compared to their other locations. If I'm also in a rush and need my car washed, I know that this location usually do not have a long line up during the week days. The only problem, and perhaps flaw of their car wash design, is that there is usually a gigantic puddle, that is hard to get around, located right at the car wash exit. It can be a bit traumatizing, especially after washing your baby.
