She was actually happy! I have to say, she totally made my day. I'm used to cranky gas station workers, or the ones that don't even say as much as "Hi". She was so pleasant. Great experience here! I decided to try it, even though my usual gas station of choice would be Shell. I like how they have new pumps which are entirely blue. It is a nice change from the usual red or black color you see at other gas stations. There are 12 pumps, so a lot of people can be accomodated. I was also impressed that their car wash was also open 24 hours. Few car washes in the city are open for this period of time, granted the temperatures are reasonable. What I was most impressed with was their drive-thru Tim Horton's...also open 24 hours! Sure you can go to the one across the street, but it's very convenient since you're already there. I realize this location will not stay 'new' forever, however there are a lot of convenient services located at one location, making it one of the best Esso's I have been to in the city.

Most Domo Stations are exactly the same. Small staff hut. Gas pumps. Outdoor merchandise. The differentiating factor is the staff. I stop at this one a lot, and the one on Gateway Blvd. Both have great staff that seem to stick around for a long time. I assume they have a good boss and good working conditions. They have always been cheery and pleasant. That keeps me coming back.

I have been trying to gas up for over 1/2 hr. Apparently something is wrong with their machines…read more First the payment could not be completed, then the pump wouldn't work. I was at pump #8; however, there were a number of people from various other pumps trying to pay in the store with the same problem, including 2 women who said the same thing has happened to them last week (and again this week). Staff had poor ability to address the problem. They would serve other customers who arrived after me, while I was still waiting. And when the pump wouldn't work, I waited over 5-mins for one of them to grudgingly put their coat on and come out and wiggle the pump handle... something I had already tried on my own, but that was the extent of her problem solving skills. When I asked her to ensure this was addressed with management, she said they have told them many times but it keeps happening. Given there are reviews on here from over 1-year ago indicating the same problem, I won't gas up here again until management assures me the problem has been resolved.

Petro Canada damaged my car and did not try to compensate me because of a small vague disclaimer…read moresign that is inside the carwash (not outside) and even if you see it, you are already inside the carwash and can not go back. Their brushes damaged my car. Impolite and not cooperative management. No compensation from them. Petro Canada have small disclaimers (signs) inside their carwash to rip you off in case their carwash damage your car. They do not put many of those disclaimer signs outside. You enter and use their service and the risk of damage is on your side. If your use their service and something happens to your car, they are experienced: (1) They threaten you based on their small-hardly visible disclaimer signs; (2) they clearly mention nothing happened to your damaged car; (3) they force you to sign their inspection forms. Read the second page of their inspection form and you will be surprised. I moved to shell carwashes. Shell has newer equipment and better designs (touchless design). I never use Petro Canada carwashes again.

I was about to walk away when the man inside started wildly gesturing to a small, silver flap on the side of the building. The man inside asked (through a speaker) if I needed anything from inside the store. I requested fuzzy peaches. He scurries off inside the store... A minute later, the flap on the side of the building flies open! The man yells "BEHOLD!!" and presents me with a package of fuzzy peaches on the slide out tray. Low and behold, it's some sort of security measure to serve customers without getting robbed at night (very smart). Honestly I've never laughed so hard at a gas station.

This is my go to gas station on the south side of Edmonton. Reason #1 - on Monday and Thursday…read morethey have 5 cents off the posted price. Reason #2 - I fill my Vespa with Premium gas and it is important to find a pump hose that is dedicated to premium gas (not used for all grades of gas). Reason #3 - the staff are always great here. It's fairly busy but it isn't too often that I have to wait in line. They only have 4 pumps but they can turn over cars pretty quickly to keep the lines going. I tend to not go during rush hours like before and after work as I imagine that would be when the line ups are the worst. They do have a small selection of gum/chips/drinks/etc.
