The nearly overflowing uncovered garbage can in the stall was completely disgusting and unnecessary and totally avoidable. This was early morning so should be no excuse why the garbage was not taken care of prior to morning rush starting. The only thing decent was the liquid soap was not watered down like most gas stations and the fact that they had a Dyson hand dryer. Other than that, Esso please have your late night/early morning staff spruce up the washroom(s) when the store is empty/ not busy.

There's a large selection of candy, packaged baked goods, slurpees, ice cream, pop, and chips to pick from. There's also a magazine section, car items including windshield washer fluid, and instant food items. The prices aren't as high as I would expect for a convenience store. Sometimes they have a special on 2 litre pop if you buy 2 of them that is similar or cheaper to what you would pay in a grocery store. Although I don't come here often, it's nice to know if I need (or want) a treat, I don't have far to go.

I like that there's a water blaster at the start to get the heavy soil off the tires, rocker panels and bumpers. I decided to try it, even though my usual gas station of choice would be Shell. I like how they have new pumps which are entirely blue. It is a nice change from the usual red or black color you see at other gas stations. There are 12 pumps, so a lot of people can be accomodated. I was also impressed that their car wash was also open 24 hours. Few car washes in the city are open for this period of time, granted the temperatures are reasonable. What I was most impressed with was their drive-thru Tim Horton's...also open 24 hours! Sure you can go to the one across the street, but it's very convenient since you're already there. I realize this location will not stay 'new' forever, however there are a lot of convenient services located at one location, making it one of the best Esso's I have been to in the city.
