I was in on a Saturday and got good help. I like working with stainless steel fittings, you can tie it into bronze, brass, or galv systems, and will likely be the last fitting you install. But this isn't about stainless as much as it is about Co-op HAVING stainless. I went in to the Agro Centre to get some galv fittings but saw that co-op had them in stainless steel. I was surprised to see it in a smaller town. Nice store, with contractor grade supplies available on a weekend.

But a gas station none the less. It was like eating in a cafeteria. They have some pizzas, donairs, and shawarma. We decided on a meat pizza and ham and pineapple. And I tried the chicken shawarma platter. You choose a beverage from the cooler in the gas station. Pizza took awhile but it was good. Nice thin crust. Flavourful tomato sauce and an okay amount of toppings. I think they could have had a bit more added to them. The chicken shawarma was really well spiced. The chicken was moist. The rice wasn't anything outstandish but cooked properly. Fries well seasoned. Loved the side salad and the cheese dip with the pita. The only thing that wasn't good was the hummus. It tasted sour. I didn't eat it. Portions were decent. Owners were friendly. Bathroom here was voted one of the best bathroom in Canada in 2019 and it is pretty impressive. I really love Lac La Biche area, and so we will probably eat here again. This is a good place to take pizza to go and enjoy it in front of the TV. Clean and modern. Lots of choices for snacks, hot and cold drinks. The fire stone pizza is great. Didn't expect that in a gas station. I would come here just for the pizza! Thin crust style. Freshly made on ordering. Took about 15 min for my order while I waited in the comfortable restaurant style seating. You could eat in but I took our pizzas to go.

As for this place when I have stopped I am always impressed by the easy access to the pumps, the friendly staff and the clean store area. I typically get fuel, use the bathroom and a coffee for the rest of the journey. I would go as far as to say this would one of the more well appreciated locations for tourists. It is easy to find, friendly to all walks of life by my impression and worth a stop in if you have a chance.
