So we stopped here to eat because this was the place that was recommended to us to eat at. I was very wary of the whole thing but because the other place that was recommended was A&W, we decided on this. Atmosphere is gas station. A very clean, very well maintained gas station. But a gas station none the less. It was like eating in a cafeteria. They have some pizzas, donairs, and shawarma. We decided on a meat pizza and ham and pineapple. And I tried the chicken shawarma platter. You choose a beverage from the cooler in the gas station. Pizza took awhile but it was good. Nice thin crust. Flavourful tomato sauce and an okay amount of toppings. I think they could have had a bit more added to them. The chicken shawarma was really well spiced. The chicken was moist. The rice wasn't anything outstandish but cooked properly. Fries well seasoned. Loved the side salad and the cheese dip with the pita. The only thing that wasn't good was the hummus. It tasted sour. I didn't eat it. Portions were decent. Owners were friendly. Bathroom here was voted one of the best bathroom in Canada in 2019 and it is pretty impressive. I really love Lac La Biche area, and so we will probably eat here again. This is a good place to take pizza to go and enjoy it in front of the TV. Or they can spread that great decor and atmosphere in the bathroom to thier dining area. Anyway if you passing through, it is worth a stop. read more

Gas prices are always higher in Lac La Biche than anywhere else east and south. Not sure why. But as far as gas stations go this is a new modern station. Convenience store is great. Clean and modern. Lots of choices for snacks, hot and cold drinks. The fire stone pizza is great. Didn't expect that in a gas station. I would come here just for the pizza! Thin crust style. Freshly made on ordering. Took about 15 min for my order while I waited in the comfortable restaurant style seating. You could eat in but I took our pizzas to go. read more

We passed by this place and it seemed to be modern and closer to what we were looking for so we decided to stop in. On the surface this looks like any other food store that can be found near a gas station. It's more than that. There's a seating area if you want to eat in and a full menu café. Their specialty is stone oven thin crust pizza . We ordered the barbecue chicken in the 12" inch size. It was the right size to share and it was delicious. This was clearly made fresh. I also had a coffee. They gave me a cup and I could fill it with a choice of around 3 or 4 coffee varieties. I chose dark and it was the best coffee so far in Lac La Biche. I noticed on the menu above the order counter that they also make breakfasts, sandwiches and soups. Naturally there's a gas station plus a car wash among the same group of buildings. The furthest building had a brew pub which might make a great place to get supper and a beer. There aren't a lot good places to eat at in Lac La Biche, at least that I've seen so far. I can tell you that the next time we don't feel like cooking in the RV this is where we are heading, at least until we find something better. Yes the coffee and pizza really were that good. I noticed a number of locals eating here and they must know the food scene better than a visitor such as me. I can't give five stars though because you're still basically eating in a gas station store with all the ambiance that entails.
