This is probably the best and most relaxing facial I've had at this spa to date. Raven did a great job meeting my goals for hydration and relaxation, and honestly I'd book with her again! This experience was completely ruined when I went to check out and they declined my gift card. For Christmas my sister regifted me a $100+ gift card I purchased for her in March 2024 (It was a birthday present, and just due to various circumstance she was unable to use it). At checkout I was informed that the gift card was expired, but the spa owner was able to give me a "courtesy" discount for 20% off product in the store. Please note that as a longtime client of this spa I have NEVER seen or heard of any gift card expiry policy from Wild & Free and the gift card didn't have an expiration date on the card, on the receipt, and during purchase no one mentioned it. The spa owner claims "that has always been the policy" but it's listed obscurely in the "About" section on the website (not where customers could easily see it while purchasing a gift card) and it was not previously listed in the "Policy" section. Thankfully I was able to get a refund, but I will no longer be booking services with Wild & Free after this experience.

They had pedicures (Mollie and Cheyenne) which were great. They massaged the legs and feet generously. The staff were friendly and the chairs were very relaxing and comfortable. They had head spa treatment with Bryce and Bryanna. Bryanna did a phenomenal job. Numerous applications of oils and moisturizers were applied and neck and should massages were also applied. It was very relaxing with customized aroma therapy. Bryce was very gentle and pleasant. The treatment, while very good was not quite as extensive as Bryanna provided. They had the Swedish massages with Tess and they raved about the massages. She knew the problem areas without having to be explained to her but she also listened to requests. After each body area was completed, it was covered with a hot wet towel and a blanket to keep the heat in. The heated beds were very comfortable and relaxing. Tess was a shoulder and neck expert - the best parts of the massage. The entire spa day took 5 1/2 hours. Based on what both my wife and daughter-in-law related, they would absolutely go back to Mantra!

I live in Richmond, but I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area and shopping for a gift.

I would love nothing more than to reuse my Costco sized containers of dish soap and laundry pods, if it's in the same ballpark of what I pay at the store. Sadly, it is not even close. They really have a nice variety of items but you're paying luxury prices for basic household cleaners, soaps and lotions. Vinegar is 15¢/oz at Refill, compared to 3¢/oz at Walmart! Off brand laundry pods are $32 for 100! Epsom salts are 16¢/oz at Refill, compared to about 2¢/oz at Costco! This is a novelty store that caters to people who want to feel good about paying more for their household cleaners, not meant for us regular folks trying to do a good deed while also being economical.
