In short, don't go here. Super unprofessional and strange. The owner called a personal friend to come in and massage me. He arrived off the street then proceeded to give me what I assume was his first ever massage. In the midst of this uncomfortable experience, he abruptly stated "I do things my way" then cut the massage short. He walked out of the building 35 minutes into my hour long session! On my way out, the woman running the place stood in front of the door and demanded to be paid in full, and when I told her I wasn't leaving a tip she continued to block the front door to try to keep me from leaving.

I took two classes: a yoga session with Trevor and a breathwork intro with 9D. Yoga with Trevor Trevor is a very seasoned instructor--his class was excellent, well-paced, and thoughtful. The studio welcomed 20 students, which shows how popular this place is. My only suggestion for the studio is to improve airflow. Even at 10:30 a.m., it got quite hot and a bit stuffy. I don't especially enjoy hot yoga, and with that many people in the room, the air felt stale at times. If improving ventilation isn't possible right now, I'd suggest new students sit near a window and try to keep it open, though it's very hot outside too. Breathwork with 9D I was surprised by how excellent this was. I didn't know what to expect: 16 students, each with headphones, and two facilitators walking around offering minor adjustments. Even though this was only a 30-minute introductory breathwork class, I felt genuinely refreshed afterward and actually found myself longing for more. Studio & Open House Vibe Everyone was friendly and welcoming The space was very clean Great turnout for the open house Wine tasting from a local family-run vineyard that won San Diego's best County Fair wine--the winemaker even makes sourdough bread on the side, which was cool There was live music announced, but I didn't catch it today I had some chai from the owner, which was really delicious For Those Coming From Farther Away I live in Oceanside, so it's about a 30-minute drive. To make it worth the trip, I'd plan to make it a half-day and take two classes or fully lean into the open house experience. Overall, this was a really wonderful experience, and I hope to return. My only constructive criticism is to have airflow improvement, especially since summer is coming.
