Was able to find & treat all tangled areas with the best techniques for each. The other therapists were attending education this day. I have the utmost respect for those who strive to further educate themselves. I thoroughly expect that I would receive great massages from them as well. Thanks for hanging in there between Harvey's mess & the construction! I will definitely support this business. (They might even get sick of me :)

My mom wanted a very light and relaxing massage and I needed a deep tissue massage to work out knots. Kelli has very strong hands and worked the knots on my back relentlessly. I'll be sore later but the massage therapy was exactly what I needed. Rhonda did our facials and this was also incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable about the skin and what your body is telling you through your skin. She did a great job and our faces looked and felt amazing after. The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this small business!

She asked me numerous questions about what style I wanted and didn't start until I finished. What she created was a photograph of everything I described and I received THE BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!! I always say the sign of a good cut is when you can style it the same way as the stylist did the first time you wash your hair. Slight layers and a cut to my collarbone took me 15 minutes to dry and style and my hair looked PERFECT. I recommend Adrianna to anyone who books a haircut as she is a treasure!!!! Thank you Andrianna.

OK, how do I put this delicately?…read more I didn't have an awful experience, and i would go back. The spa itself was nice and clean. The front desk staff was very welcoming when I entered. My technician was pretty much on time. So, you may be wondering why the three stars? Well, I'll break it down for you. When I was taken back to the room for my appointment, the person that was doing my service SEEMED very knowledgeable. I was getting eyebrow lamination, getting my eyebrows dyed, getting my lashes lifted and also dyed. Everything seemed to be going well during the services, but that all ended when she was done and handed me the mirror. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My eyebrows looked CRAZY! I was in shock, they were HUGE and black. Theres NO way she thought they looked remotely good. She did tell me that they would calm down after a few days, that they just looked like that because I just had them colored. Mind you, I have black hair, so they shouldn't have looked that crazy. I mean, they took on a life of their own. A few days passed and they still looked like they were about to jump off my face. I saw my sister about a week after I got them done and she said... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYEBROWS?!?!? I was like... its good to see you too. I mean the brows were very noticeable. Its been awhile now, and they aren't like they used to be. Thank goodness, but it did take awhile. She also didnt do a very good job shaping them, and I noticed some of my brow looked like it had a small chunk out if it. That part is still growing back in. I also dont know what's happening, but some of my brow hairs are LONG. I don't know how that happened, maybe its just a sign of aging, but I do wish that she would have trimmed them and gave me some kind of shape to them. Needless to say, my brow experience wasn't the best. My eyelashes on the other hand looked great! I loved them. I'd go back for my eyelashes again, but I'll leave my brow work to someone else. When I was leaving and went up to pay, they rang me up. I noticed that there wasnt a spot to leave a tip. I asked them and they said that they were a no tip spa. I wasnt mad about that at all. So my experience wasn't the best, but I think that it wasn't super bad either.

Light snacks, like cranberries and nuts are provided along with hot tea options, and citrus flavored water. The space is very nice. There are locker rooms with plush spa robes and complementary slippers. The locker room has two steam showers if you want to wash yourself after your massage. They also provide hair products to try as well as a Dyson hair dryer. I was definitely very impressed with the luxurious feel of the spa, however, was turned off by the receptionist who checked me in - her robotic, transactional nature was starkly juxtaposed against the warmth of the spa. I noticed she was the same with all customers so it wasn't personal but interaction with her was unsettling. I booked the 60min signature hydrafacial and the esthetician was welcoming and willingly customized my facial based on my requests. No major issues encountered but I noticed we started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so I thought marketing it as a 60min experience was a bit misleading. Also note the 60min Signature Hydrafacial does not include any hand/neck massages nor boosters nor light therapy so the $285 price was much more expensive than my usual spa. I will not return for another facial but may try massage in the future. We also booked pedicures and again the space is beautiful!! We were given a palette to select colors and the ladies were extremely friendly! My toes came out adorable! I found the seating to be very uncomfortable for a short person despite many pillows placed behind me for support so I honestly struggled to enjoy the experience but the space was very nicely decorated and clean looking. We were offered tea and snacks at the beginning as well. Overall, this was a very nice spa. I found it fairly expensive and overpriced, but I recognize beautiful spaces have a cost and that's what I should've expected in the River Oaks area. There is complementary validated parking!

For my birthday this year, my husband surprised me with a couple's massage at ZaSpa Memorial City…read more This was my first time visiting this ZaZa location since it opened in December, but needless to say, it lived up to its brand reputation! Unlike the ZaSpa in the Museum District, this one is quieter, smaller, and just feels more intimate. The locker rooms have only 10-12 lockers, so no more than a dozen people can be using the spa at one time, which I think highly contributes to the serenity of the spa. I was able to change into my robe and meet my husband in the relaxation lounge to enjoy some fruit flavored water, but minus 1 star for TVs in the relaxation lounge - I wanted to be without electronics when relaxing. Once our therapists arrived, we were escorted to our room, and we discussed which areas were of concern to each of us. I must have melted (perhaps even drooled) on the massage table. The massage made me feel as if there were no tension remaining in my body - I miss that feeling even as I'm writing this. When my therapist told me, "I hope you enjoyed it..." and continued with niceties, I had to quiet the voice in my head screaming "NO! It's over?!?! I'm not ready for the real world!" Trying to remain civil on the outside, I asked, "are you sure? Is my husband done too, because I'm happy to wait here for him." She smiled and assured me that my 50 minutes had passed. The truth isn't always easy to hear. We exited and were given a glass of champagne each to celebrate my birthday, which further added to the relaxation. Afterward, we each headed to our individual locker rooms and enjoyed the Infrared Saunas - if you have yet to try one, I highly recommend it. I found it more comfortable than a traditional sauna. This was a lovely start to my new year on Earth, and I hope to return soon - - what a magical place.

Today I got a new nail tech who was absolutely horrible. She ignored my request for no cutting of the cuticles (even after my usual lady let her know), filed my nails AND SKIN so hard it hurt, and ended up clipping my skin too close and leaving nail polish on the side of my nails! The color she applied was not the one I picked but similar enough I just let it go. This experience reminded me why I hate going to get my nails done. When I went to pay I found out she had upcharged me for a hand massage I didn't ask for or want and then an attitude when I asked why the price was different than all my other visits. I regret not requesting my usual nail tech but she was busy with another client. Unfortunately this experience was enough to deter me from returning.

The carpet was filthy as you can see from the photo, which made me question the cleanliness overall. When I got to the chair, it seemed clean with the white furniture, but I'm not very sure. I've seen cleaner places, so I don't think I would be going back.
