I understand it's a Medicaid taking office, so I'm not expecting first class treatment , but there's a boundary line. 1) no organization whatsoever , my first appointment they got my daughter mixed up with a completely different patient mixed up her X-rays personal info and all. 2) TIME. I can understand being 10-15 min late for an appointment on the dr's side or just waiting in the lobby for a min for them to prep the rooms but waiting 30 min-2 hrs every time you go in for an appointment is a sure way to scare away every patient. 3) communication- ZERO. My daughter was scheduled an extraction, normal procedures in a practice would consist of handing the parent of guardian information regarding the extraction - prep tips , knows and nots, we got nothing - thankfully I'm a dental assistant and know what to do and not to do. 10a extraction scheduled , daughter misses school, we come in 10 min early I don't mind waiting a bit over 10a that's fine. But what im seeing is the practice opens at 9:30a, lights are still off everywhere , no doctors in sight. One or two assistants walking back and forth. And one patient just sitting in a room waiting. I'm watching someone who got here way after me getting pulled first after we've been waiting already 20+ minutes, other assistant feels bad so she pulls us into a room and says she apologizes there are no doctors there they're waiting for them to arrive. As an assistant all I have to say is YIKES. No bueno all the way around. I called my daughter's old dentist all the way on the other side of town immediately when we got into the room made her an appointment for next week. I'd rather compensate gas and time for efficiency, care, & real treatment. We walked out immediately, doctor should be on time to THEIR practices opening times. This place was a joke and I feel for the assistants working here.
