The office manager lied about having checked my insurance. Later on they found out my insurance did not cover the procedure and expected me to pay for 100% of the bill. If I knew I had to pay 100% of the bill I would not get the work done. I have also been having problems with their work (doctor Vu) and had to see another dentist for proper diagnosis since. I do not trust them to go back to them for any more diagnosis or work. I have been sending them emails and certified letters. They completely ignore all my concerns and keep asking for the rest of their money. read more

Janus dentistry refuses to accept any responsibility for their mistakes and damages they cause. Doctor Vu filled three of my teeth about three months and I still have serious problems with two of them. They expect me to go back and pay them more to fix their own mistakes but I do not trust them because they are incompetent and corrupt in my opinion. I've seen another dentist who said I most likely need a root canal and a crown on one of the teeth she filled but they do not want to accept responsibility and pay for it. I have filed a complaint with my insurance and I'm filing a complaint with Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Janus Dentistry is now ignoring my certified letters too!!! read more

This place just opened with brand new equipment. I had some cavities fixed and filled as well as a root canal and crown done here. The completion of the crown was done quicker than the promised date. Another thing I like is that they call to remind you about your appointment the day before. The dentist seems very competent. Overall, I am very satisfied with them. read more

Dr. Truong took care of me very well. I had my wisdom teeth removed here. As you may not know but 2 of my wisdom teeth were not straight and they angled toward my other teeth. It took longer than I want it to be but I can't really blame him since my case seem complex. Furthermore, I really like it when he worked on me he also explained the condition of each section of my mouth. Some people may not like that but I think if I understand what's going on with my teeth then I will be able to take care of it better. Anyway, I like the overall experience. Updated: I came back for a crown replacement and some white filling. My off-color tooth was replaced and you know those metal filling you had when you're a kid? I'm a person that's already nervous about going to the dentist and I only go when something's wrong. Well I have an inflammation in my gums I've had it happen before and in the past they treat with antibiotics and a medicated mouthwash. When I came in here they jumped right away to wanting to do a surgical excision of the excess tissue causing things to get stuck and irritate my gums. It made sense but it was a little overwhelming for someone who hates the dentist and hates having my mouth messed with. So I panicked. I told them I wasn't sure I wanted to do it and couldn't we take the more conservative route first? He said no that the excision was my best option so I said I needed a minute to call my mom (who works in the medical field) and weigh my options. After speaking with her I decided to go ahead with the excision so I told them I was ready. A few minutes later the assistant came back and told me "The dentist doesn't feel comfortable performing the procedure today." What?!? Because I questioned you? Because I needed a minute because I was scared? They asked me to schedule another appointment for the excision. I told them if I couldn't get it done today, I wouldn't come back. I'm in pain and need a treatment now, they said they wouldn't do it today. So I said okay and walked out. I've seriously never been treated so terribly by any medical practice ever. The dentist was absolutely abhorrent. If you have fears of the dentist at all DON'T go here!!! They are not at all understanding or compassionate. Terrible service! read more

Dr. Pierre and Dr. Vu are very good dentist. But the office clerk name Jennifer Anna is very terrible, rude and unprofessional. She set a schedule an appointment for teeth cleaning with dr Vu on Friday 11/8/2019 at 3:35 pm. I also asked her to call me to remind an appointment. She did not call or email me to remind me.When i came to see dr Vu on that day at 3:38pm, the office was closed.From outside I look inside the light still on, i called from my cell phone and nobody answer. Finally i went home i called them , Anna answered phone when i complained , she just hanged up on me. I tried to call back several she did even picked up the phone.Today 11/11/19 i called the office. This is the worst dentist office I have ever been to. I went in to get a chipped tooth fixed and Dr. Truong scraped and put bonding ON THE WRONG TOOTH! And made the tooth that was fine look horrible. I can not even describe how upset and dumbfounded I am. The wrong tooth. Not only do I still have a chipped tooth, but also have to pay to get the one he messed up cosmetically fixed. Dr. Pierre is amazing! I had originally planned on getting one of my impacted ones taken out, but Dr. Pierre explained to me how it was impossible to do because it was sitting on my nerve and referred me to an oral surgeon instead. I ended up getting my 2 top ones taken out. The process wasn't bad. they told me to dress comfortable. He explained to me that if I felt any pain at all to let him know, because I'm not supposed to feel anything. The whole process only took an hour or so. Not bad. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's really good at giving shots. It wasn't painful at all. read more

AMAZING! I am a nurse and so I definitely know what customer service and healthcare should be. The office staff were very friendly and as soon as I got there I was taken in and had x-rays and was explained everything. I was greeted with a smiling dentist who is the greatest dentist I have come across. His bedside manners were spectacular and he explained everything so well and took the time to teach and go over everything. This is my first visit after being with my former dentist for years. I was told by my former dentist that I needed crowns or veneers costing $1200 each. He said that I should do all 4 teeth as fixing one will not look good. I only had one badly chipped tooth . Dr JP Truong took a look and said no crown or veneer needed, just a plain filling and I would be good as new. He did a superb job in no time flat and was very attentive and informative the entire time. Final cost: zip, zilch, nada because I have insurance and my insurance covers filling. Yeah!!! And I have had this chipped/broken tooth for a year thinking that it would cost me an arm and a leg. So nice and so honest! His staff was excellent and expeditious also. They were on time, no long wait and great communication with email and text message to remind me of my appointment. Finally found my dentist! I have never in my life had someone go back and forth with me at a place where they get paid off my service. I literally asked a lady at the front desk why did she wait until I was there to switch the insurance. It was very close to 5pm and i just didn't think that made sense. Anna proceeded to jump in our conversation and express to me that i had an attitude and that i had one over the phone. Again i never was speaking to her about my issue. She proceeded to go back and forth with me until of course I became very mad and cursed her out. I asked her to stop going back and forth with me before this and she would not stop so Im not sure why she was surprised when she got the reaction she did. This was the most terrible office I ever been to and it sucks because she convinced the other dentist available not to see my kid intentionally. Very unprofessional. I was definitely going to continue to come there and pay out of my own pocket bc my kids insurance is up this month but I WILL NEVER EVER visit this place again. You cannot poke the bear and be upset when it attacks. Very nice office but very ugly and taunting attitudes from your employees. I went in for a deep cleaning awhile ago and the service was top notch. The dental assistants were really nice and made sure my x rays went well, and that I was comfortable with my surroundings. Dr. Truong made sure every single one of my tooth was perfectly cleaned to ensure that I got the best results. The wait was really quick and their booking times for appointments are really flexible and they are very accommodating. The office was clean and sanitary which to me is the most important factor when choosing a dental place. Each room was private and cut off so that each patient would have their privacy.
