Thought it was getting better and went to yoga on Saturday, and nope - aggravated them so badly in one hour that I couldn't sleep well that night from the stiffness in my neck. Reserved a 90 min massage yesterday (Sunday) with Ben. Hubby also got an hour reflexology (foot massage) and a 30 min body massage, his fav combo, from Lucy. I got into the room and felt it was a little warm, but it turned out to be the perfect temperature by the end of the massage. I told Ben my traps and neck hurt, and he somehow worked out every little knot that I didn't even know I had. I've known for years that he's amazing, but he astounded me this time around. I slept so well last night, and woke up this morning with my neck and shoulder/arm back to 95%. Unbelievable how healing just 90 mins can be. So yes, go, be healed. Honestly, I'll probably go again this wknd or next. PS. Highly recommend side questing afterwards to the two Vietnamese restaurants on the same strip. - Blossom next door has delicious bbq pork banh mi for $6 and boba milk tea for $6 also. Ask for less ice and half sugar. - Saito three doors to the right has the most authentic pho and bun bo hue I've had, plus bun, ban xeo, and other Vietnamese dishes (also has banh mi for $6 as well).

I originally went to Tiffany for a 60-minute massage after finding out about her through a Groupon…read moreNow! groupon. I had not been to a massage in over a year, but did not want to commit to a year-long contract at other massage chains, so I decided to give her a try. Having everything squared away with regards to paperwork before the session, I was able to maximize my time there. During the session she correctly pointed out how I tended to lean forward and have poor body posture (which is true since I am a programmer), and tuned the session to work to address that problem, instead of just going through the motions like other therapists have. She even used some form of heat (gel? stones?) without extra charge when she noticed the extra tension in my shoulders in order to work through the tension in my back muscles and shoulders. She wasn't able to hit my legs/feet when I was face up, but that was only because she focused on the areas I needed it most (back/shoulders), and I have to admit I need more work there. After the session she was not in a rush to shoe me out for any potential next clients, but rather took time to discuss my problems and what I could do to address them. I do not know how often I'll be getting massages, but if I have the time I will definitely come back to her. Although per session may be more expensive than the chain massage places (and really it is not that much more), the quality won't be hit or miss, and you'll appreciate the non-rushing and not-sticking to the clock of her; you actually get the full time vs the 50 min for a "60 min" session.

I initially needed a post-sports massage after running a half marathon. Tiffany does a great job of talking to you beforehand, asking what your needs are and what you would like her to focus on. During the massage she only asks pertinent questions that help get you the most out of your massage. She was so great. It was one of the best massages I have ever gotten. I'm sore today (in the good way where I know my muscles for worked out). I came in with some pian in my knee and she spent a great deal of time working on it and afterwards even spent some time telling me how to continue to improve it. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. And as I said I already plan on going back. My goal is to make this a monthly trip. Her prices are affordable and she does have a loyalty program. So glad I went here and not one of those chains,.

From previous experiences here, make sure you communicate your "problem areas" if any, to the receptionist or front desk person so they can translate that back to your massage person. My masseuse lady felt the tightness I had in those problem areas and worked her magic. She also stopped a few times to ask me if her use of pressure was okay. I'm a deep tissue kinda gal so I told her to go in on them knots lol. You pay for your massage first. If you're tipping with your credit card, that will be done after your massage. My only complaint is that they charge an additional card terminal service fee PER CARD TRANSACTION without verbally telling you. When I got home and reviewed the receipts, I was charged the fee for the cost of the massage AND when they swiped for the tip afterwards. I do not like that business practice. I could have been charged the fee once, but now I know to bring cash for tip next time or just cash altogether!!
