If there's any kind of issue, like we sometimes get ants around the bbq in the summer, they take care of it immediately with a special treatment and we never have an issue after that. I am hesitant to write this review as I believe it is a one man John operation. But I just do not feel I received his best service this morning. I really had high hopes with how he communicated well, but when he arrived, he seemed already irritated about something. He did not ask any questions when he walked in, so I tried to tell him a few things, and he just dismissed me and walked around. I kept telling him where I saw the ants the most, and he sprayed a couple of places inside (not the place I mentioned). Spent two minutes inside and said well there is nothing active in here, so I am going outside. So.... wait a minute, you didn't even look where I said or spray, didn't bend down to look at walls or if any holes or anything, didn't even go thru the whole house missed the front and did like 5 squirts and went outside. And not active? I see there every single day, and they have to be coming from somewhere! As he was outside, he spent the majority of the time walking around and talking to other customers about bill issues, scheduling, etc. I just find that to be so unprofessional when you should be concentrating on the job at hand. Again, he just kinda sprayed around and didn't look closely, bend down, open the water closet, and move stuff around nothing. He just was paying more attention on the phone. He came back in, and a very condescending tone told me he saw nothing. I get it no ants visible, but they have to be coming from somewhere! I deal with them every day. I asked him if he sprayed or looked in the counter spot I see them coming up the most and he said he did (which I know for a fact he never did and the spot was completely dry) so I didn't appreciate being lied to. As he continued basically with a tone of "I am just a hysterical female that sees an ant and freaks out magically an ant from the very spot I kept talking about appeared in front of us. He said oh that's just one ant, not a whole bunch. And then tried to upsell me on a foundation check. But unless he has some crazy amazing vision, how did you not bend down once to see where they may be coming from? What about under the sinks? I can think of a few places, but It was just like a walk around, then a couple of squirts of spray and deal with his other customers. And he never asked me any questions and was gone before even an hour was up. I ve had pest control before, and it was way more informative and actually inspecting the place. And I feel he was condescending towards me because he was irritated with something else. I just do not think I got the best John everyone else has talked about. UPDATE: In response to your comment, hence why I was hesitant to even say anything. Thank you for your response. Maybe you see doing business differently, and like I said to me, it just did not seem like a usual "inspection." I appreciate the advice, and I'll bump up the stars. I recently had some pigeon's (and other birds), who decided to take up residency in my back yard, sitting on the edge of my jacuzzi, making a huge, huge mess in my yard.
