If she was out of town she had an associate do it instead. She explained everything carefully. She told me how to decorate to get the house sold, she even rearranged my refrigerator. One evening our landlord came up for a visit.they let us know…read morethat her brother was moving back to town and had bought the family home. this is where we were living out in the country. we have dogs kids and chickens and this is where we like to be.we had to be out pretty quick and were caught unaware, we could not find anything. we have looked and looked and looked. Lawrence is a very difficult town to find a rental in especially if you're a family and you've had some problems in your life and gone thru a divorce and had a spouse thats ruined your credit. it seems no one wants to help you these days. people are all about themselves, nobody quite wants to really help it's really sad that life has become all about business. I ran into this after trying to get several places and not having an adequate credit score.I kept trying, I found a house that I really liked and called, it was a realtor that was managing. Kimberly Williams with McGrew real estate, she said I'll be glad to show it to you but the landlord requires a 600 credit score and yaddy yaddy yaddy.I said well that's not going to work for us and then I said can I tell you a little bit about us? she said yes so I told her my story and to my amazement she really cared she told me to write my story down and to email it to her and she would go to her client and see if she might make an exception and give our family a much-needed break. The next day she got back with me and told me the client did not want to rent with us I guess she's one of those that it's all about the money and not giving someone another chance I've never had an eviction and I've never owed anyone money on rent I just needed a little help. this is not where I wanted to be at 55. I just want to say this is the first review that I'm going to compliment somebody on and thank them for their help and that will be Kimberly Williams because I was somebody that didn't have a pot to piss in and she still went out of her way to try and help me. now the thing is I'm going to be coming into some money in about 6 months quite a lot of money and I'm going to buy a house and I'm not going to call the Chaney's but I'm going to call Kimberly and she's going to sell me a house because my money is green enough for her, so if you're looking for a house, put your money on her thank you Kimberly!!!

They are literally the best: professional, ethical, know the market, know how to sell a house, and most importantly, know how to protect their clients. I wanted to buy my "dream home" that turned out to be a disaster, and after all the hours of work they had put into listing my other home, negotiation / inspection of dream home, etc, they were completely 100% supportive of the cancellation of the contract and STILL put a ton of work in, even after they knew that neither sale (my home or new home) would probably go through. They didn't pressure me AT ALL into accepting less than I needed in terms of repairs and just held my hand throughout. I am 100% a fan now and would never, ever use anyone else.

She led us to homes we liked and she used this information to refine the list of homes for us next to visit. She handled all of the paperwork for the inspections and she knows multiple reliable tradesman who were adept at their business as well as being fair minded. She coordinated all aspects of the contract and worked with our loan officer at Truity, Geoff Strole. This is the second time we used Geoff. Between Ashley and Geoff there were never a problem that required our attention. Ashley know the local market, offers her opinion when asked, and listened intensely to our comments to refine how she supported us.

On July 30, 2020 the HomeTeam conducted a whole home inspection on my behalf as a buyer of a home…read moreat 3615 SW Springcreek Ct in Topeka, KS. During the inspection the area experienced torrential rainfall. After the initial on site briefing, but while some of the inspections team who had arrived late were still conducting tests, I waited in the garage for the storm to pass. During that time another contractor from a pest control company informed me that the finished area of the basement had begun flood through an egress window. I immediately went back into the home and was informed by one of the HomeTeam inspectors to"be careful going down into the basement as water was coming in". I witnessed some fairly significant water coming into the room and accumulating on the carpet. I immediately notified the listing agent who recommended HomeTeam for the inspection of the issue. She indicated she had already been notified by Maurie Blick, the head inspector. On the following day I was astonished to find that the written report of the inspection contained no information about the basement flooding. I promptly phoned Maurie to express my concern and he agreed to issue an Addendum to the report to help me in negotiation with the property owner. Unfortunately, the Addendum itself only made vague reference to "concerns on the part of the buyer and in consideration of recent storm water issues" without specifically noting the water intrusion. I have no evidence to support this claim, but I feel this downplaying of the significance of the flooding is related to the ongoing cozy relationship between the HomeTeam and the listing agent in this transaction. Needless to say the soft language in the reports made negotiations with the seller in this instance more difficult for me as the buyer. I believe the lack of detailed description of the flooding to be both unprofessional and grossly negligent.
