Super efficient and no-nonsense in their approach, extremely capable at a wide range of repair and remodel tasks, and focused on quality of the finished product. By the end of the week no call. I called requesting a time and date. Two days into the following week he showed up with no notice. We asked if he had the part, he seemed confused. Packed up and left saying he'd be back next week. He again never showed up. He never returned our calls. Nothing. Finally called another Handyman. He came out, moved the cabinet piece up....wa-la. Fixed. No need for new piece. Charged us hardly anything. We'll be sticking with this new guy.

He was able to take an estimate of measures and was easy to work with on going through all of the details of what would be included with converting the loft into a bedroom. We purchased a home with a back door that wouldn't latch. When we looked into it, we found that the…read moretop hinge on the door was held on by just one maybe 1.5" screw, and the hinges were misaligned with the pre-drilled holes in the frame. The metal threshold under the door was also bent out of shape and missing the wooden or rubber part that actually seals against the door sweep, so this door was DRAFTY and definitely wouldn't keep any bugs out. I'm pretty handy, but with how much work the door needed, I didn't feel comfortable fixing it myself. I messaged Dave on Yelp and we were able to do a video estimate a few days later. When my partner and I decided to hire him, he was able to come out the next day for the repair, and he did an awesome job. The door works great, all the hinges are anchored in properly, and besides some paint, the threshold looks like nothing was ever wrong. After some other contractors blew us off and dismissed our concerns with their work, we were worried we wouldn't be able to find someone who would actually seal the door and make it look good.
