    Charged Nearly $2,000 Over Quote -- Breach of Contract, Legal Action Pending…read more We were quoted $4,459 for our project, which we accepted despite our budget being lower. We even cleared the entire space beforehand to help expedite their process and reduce costs. However, we were shocked to be charged over $6,400--nearly $2,000 more than agreed. We understand it's not always going to 100% reflect the quote, but there was no prior notice or written approval of extra charges. When we questioned the overage, they claimed they gave us "their most generous discount to date," which was misleading and unacceptable. We disputed the charge with American Express, but were told the final bill they gave us after the work counted as "written notice," despite no prior communication about the increase. This is unfair and contradicts their own contract terms. After consulting with an attorney, we were advised the company is in breach of contract. If they do not refund the overage and honor the original quote, we are fully prepared to take legal action. This review is a final effort to resolve the matter before going to court. Future clients, proceed with caution--get everything in writing.

He made reservations for a 2 night stay in a hotel, arranged for dog sitting and thought of everything necessary for a carefree birthday weekend! We had such a wonderful time that we decided to extend our trip another night. The only problem was that we did not have anyone to take care of our two dogs. Thank goodness for Christy Hendricks and The Royal Keeper. I am a very independent, private person and have never used any type of service before. I had heard about The Royal Keeper and have known Christy for several years. As my family brainstormed various options, my son suggested calling The Royal Keeper. My first reaction was that it would never work. How would someone I casually knew come into my home and care for my dogs without any orientation or guidance! I called Christy at 7:30 pm and explained our dilemma asking her if she would care for our dogs starting at 6:00 am the next morning. She agreed to the job even though it was a last minute request. She was extremely professional and knew all the right questions to ask to get the needed information to provide excellent care for my dogs. She quickly put me at ease with her attention to details and her careful questioning to learn the dogs personalities and toy preferences. She provided a comprehensive report at the completion of job, again setting my mind at ease knowing that my dogs were well cared for. I was able to enjoy my last day at the beach knowing that the dogs were in capable, loving hands. I would call Christy and the Royal Keeper again without a moment of hesitation for any job that needed to be done. She is a competent professional who could handle any task asked of her.

I feel so much better after parting…read morewith "stuff" that I had held onto because my parents and grandparents had passed it to me. Not because I had a use for the items. Some of the things had made multiple moves with me and were never unpacked! The backstory: I paid a moving service to pack and remove, then store my house so I could put it on the market to sell. The company did not do a good job at all. They were rough with delicate items and I ended up with broken glass, marble, and ceramic items along with stretched and torn artwork on canvases. Many things were broken beyond repair, and the storage looked like a junkyard when I opened it to retrieve some items I had asked not be packed. I couldn't even step inside the storage when I first opened it! Andre came to help and within a couple of hours everything was taken out of the storage and organized into different categories. He didn't ask many questions. I was happy to not be very involved in the initial removal of the items as it was almost traumatic to see the things I owned carelessly thrown on top of one another. It was such a relief to see everything packed back into the storage unit and taking up less than half the space that the movers had originally left completely full. If I would have known of Andre's service, I would've hired him to come in and help me before I hired the movers. That way all my important stuff would have been protected and cared for better. When it's time to move the stuff to my next place, you can bet I'll be in touch! Thanks again!
