Stopped in based on reviews. Small corner coffee shop, limited parking, clean inside. Small menu but it more than suffices, and they do have seasonal specials. I had the "candied clove" capp, and I'm surprised they offer such a thing. Clove is strong & not to most people's liking--but I love clove! And this drink didn't disappoint. A great alternative to the pumpkin spice lattes everywhere. Drink prices are in line with the quality of the product. Honestly, I expected to pay more in Plymouth. Sat outside at one of their little tables, really pleasant stop overall. My only nitpick is lack of greeting when I entered and an awkward silence when I approached counter. Two people were working. I was driving around, wanting a great cup of coffee. Stopped here , I ordered a curried honey latte and a pecan bar. The latte was perfection, it was exactly what I was looking for . Wow! Just finished up an incredible life-changing (yes!) CURRIED HONEY LATTE with almond milk. Damn, it's good. Definitely has a spicy kick, but you should still order it because winter. Elevado makes my favorite coffee drinks. I wish I had my basic bitch vanilla latte from there right now. Their hot chocolate is silky and lovely and I want to bathe myself in it. This is also my wife's favorite place to get coffee in the area, so we come here on the weekends as a special treat. Staff have always been friendly too. I'm leaving off one star for two main reasons: (1) it's like they're a victim of their own success or maybe i'm just unlucky, but my wait time for my coffee is longer here than any other coffee place (coffee-eria?) I visit. That wouldn't be so bad, but (2) the building is tiny and whenever I'm at Elevado, there are more people in there than they have room to fit. All chairs are always taken and there's barely any standing room, so that's a bummer. And worst of all, the doors open into the building, so when I'm trying to carry 2 molten lava coffees and pull open two doors to get out of a building that's about 3'x4.5' feet, i get frustrated. But what're ya gonna do, right? I'm sure if they could magic their building to be a bit bigger, they probably would. But I'm still salty about those doors. GREAT coffee, but their doors are ass if you're getting coffee to go. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and not in a rush. read more

If you like basic coffee, this is NOT the place for you. If you are adventurous and want to try something new, give it a shot. I tried the lemongrass latte...didn't enjoy it. Honestly, it tasted like grass, dirt and instant coffee. Just because I didn't enjoy it, doesn't mean that I wouldn't recommend the place to someone else. Pretty much the only place I know of that actually roasts the beans in-house. So many coffee places who charge premium prices usually have the coffee pre-made and kept in those anonymous pump-carafe dispensers - blah. Espresso Elevado actually makes your cup fresh when you order - it's very quick via the process they employ. In my opinion, E.E.'s process allows a cup of probably the freshest, most flavorful coffee possible. It's THAT good. Usually, I drink my coffee black - no sugar, no milk, no nuthin', so it's easy for me to discern if there's something special goin' on - and there definitely is. On my last visit, I tried the Bali Blue Moon beans, and liked it so much I bought a bag for home [I use a french press/burr grinder setup]. It's very hearty, yet has a nice earthy taste I really enjoy. I even got one of their coffee cards, where on your third bag of coffee beans, you get a free cup of whatever coffee you want - not a bad deal, since I'm hopelessly addicted to their fresh roast beans. Handcrafted drinks in the heart of downtown Plymouth, what more can you want? Be prepared to get what you pay for - seasonal drinks can cost upwards of $6 with tax. I treat myself on occasion because life is too short for bad coffee. Seating is limited (I don't consider this space 'good for working' because one person taking up a table for hours in a small location isn't considerate, in my opinion) but there is free wifi and if you're in a hurry you can call ahead your drink orders. Each cup, including regular coffee, is brewed to order so if you arrive during a peak time there may be a small wait, but all of the beans are roasted on site so it's all apart of the experience PLUS you're supporting a local business. This place is just great! I just moved to the Metro-Detroit Area from Seattle and I was worried that I wouldn't find a great little independent coffee shop. Espresso Elevado would give any place in Seattle a run for its money. The latte was perfect and the shop is very bright and friendly. I parked my computer in the corner and did some work here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and there was a good crowd of people coming and going. Love love love. Such a cute shop and they make all sorts of coffee of my dreams. 6 oz capps, pour overs, aeropresses, and options for espresso. It's small, but there's a lot of love packed into this place. I highly recommend it. If you want a sugar fancy pants sparkle drink, they can do that too and well. If you want "just a cup of coffee" it's great. If you are wearing tight pants and want a cortado, you can get it. And it all will be good. If I could give 3.5stars I would but I can't so I went with 3 for a couple reasons....The seating is limited...4 tables all 2-tops. Our group had three people so that was kind of inconvenient to not have anywhere else to sit in there; couch, patio, ottoman, whatever or a 4-top table. Other thing was we were looking for something small or light to go with our coffee but their selection, while good looking and tempting wouldn't do the trick to fill any of us up so 2 of us ended up down at panera (unfortunately...i'd rather support a small business but i also need food in the morning) One of my friends did get a mocha coffee here and it was amazing! Very tasty and something I will definitely order when I go back.Highly recommend it! This would be a great place to go to read a book (tables aren't very big, don't think you could get a laptop and notebook on the table too for homework or research) or talk to a friend one-on-one. Once I finally made my way into Espresso Elevado for my first cup of heaven, it's been very difficult for me to stay away. Their on site roasting proves to be a phenomenal beginning to perfection. The Cinnamon Spice Latte was so good that I didn't want my cup to empty - I had to drink slowwwwwly and found myself scraping every last bit out with my finger. The Buttered Sea Salt Breve was so delicious that it's probably a good thing that it's only 8oz. because I could drink this all day long. Made with a homemade butterscotch syrup (that can be added to other drinks as well) that is sinful. As a bona fide coffee snob with 20+ years in Seattle to back me up, I am incredibly pleased to have found a local roaster with a quiet atmosphere and friendly barista's that actually know their product well. I am looking forward to trying many other tempting items on their menu plus seasonal offerings. read more

This place was made for those who admire a carefully crafted cup of coffee. I've been coming here since they opened, but my boyfriend and I have been coming much more regularly as of recently. Espresso Elevado has spoiled me to the point where I don't consider purchasing coffee from Starbucks anymore. Their space is small, and was perfect sized when they first opened. However, they are becoming increasingly popular and I rarely plan on getting my drink "for here" because there is nearly never an open table. I won't argue with anyone that says this place is pricy, but I believe their costs are justified in the quality, sourcing and location that e2 provides.
