In town for business. I love visiting Expresso shops. Found this little gem while exploring Downtown Plymouth. I had the Marzipan Cappuccino and it was so delicious. I highly recommend a visit. read more

Stopped in based on reviews. Small corner coffee shop, limited parking, clean inside. Small menu but it more than suffices, and they do have seasonal specials. I had the "candied clove" capp, and I'm surprised they offer such a thing. Clove is strong & not to most people's liking--but I love clove! And this drink didn't disappoint. A great alternative to the pumpkin spice lattes everywhere. Drink prices are in line with the quality of the product. Honestly, I expected to pay more in Plymouth. Sat outside at one of their little tables, really pleasant stop overall. My only nitpick is lack of greeting when I entered and an awkward silence when I approached counter. Two people were working. Also, after ordering, drink was simply handed to me. Conversation isn't necessary, but something between that and what I got would suffice :) read more

I was driving around, wanting a great cup of coffee. Stopped here , I ordered a curried honey latte and a pecan bar. The latte was perfection, it was exactly what I was looking for . It was delicious!!!! The best!!! The pecan bar was great too, very light and buttery!!! Love it here and can't wait to come back. Oh and by the way, the owner is so lovely and friendly! read more

Espresso Elevado - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Plymouth, Michigan

I love this place. It is the closest place we have to a European cafe in this area. I love the drinks and they know what a true macchiato is. I always take my exchange students here to remind them of home read more

Small business promotion for only 10 bucks for the year! I have my business card posted near the door! Also, the coffee options affordable!

Considering how popular and good the drinks are, you'd think the hours would be more reasonable! How is anyone who has a full time job able to visit this place if it's never open past 2 PM on weekdays? Again, love the drinks especially the chai latte, just really wish I could visit more often if they were open later. read more

Love this atmosphere, coffee and cappuccinos are always perfect. I come here at least twice a month, and I have yet to have a bad experience here. The cafe is very cutesy and good for pictures. read more

Best Coffee in Michigan! Great Chocolatte (their version of a Mocha)! Their pour-over is the smoothest I ever had!! Always has a great selection of seasonal drinks. Exceptional service. Worth the wait and money. read more

Love love this place. Always searching for good coffee when in town visiting! Found this place a few years back and so happy !! Yumm

Wow! Just finished up an incredible life-changing (yes!) CURRIED HONEY LATTE with almond milk. Damn, it's good. Definitely has a spicy kick, but you should still order it because winter. Fast, friendly service. As others have noted, the parking is limited and the space is on the small side. I took my latte to go, but even if I had wanted to hang out there, all the seats were taken. read more

Nice coffees but the app-order pick up with no ability to order in person despite staff standing there with nothing to do is annoying.

If you like basic coffee, this is NOT the place for you. If you are adventurous and want to try something new, give it a shot. I tried the lemongrass latte...didn't enjoy it. Honestly, it tasted like grass, dirt and instant coffee. Just because I didn't enjoy it, doesn't mean that I wouldn't recommend the place to someone else. If you're into super fancy coffee, you will probably love this place. I don't, so I didn't. To each their own! read more

Pretty much the only place I know of that actually roasts the beans in-house. So many coffee places who charge premium prices usually have the coffee pre-made and kept in those anonymous pump-carafe dispensers - blah. Espresso Elevado actually makes your cup fresh when you order - it's very quick via the process they employ. In my opinion, E.E.'s process allows a cup of probably the freshest, most flavorful coffee possible. It's THAT good. Usually, I drink my coffee black - no sugar, no milk, no nuthin', so it's easy for me to discern if there's something special goin' on - and there definitely is. On my last visit, I tried the Bali Blue Moon beans, and liked it so much I bought a bag for home [I use a french press/burr grinder setup]. It's very hearty, yet has a nice earthy taste I really enjoy. I even got one of their coffee cards, where on your third bag of coffee beans, you get a free cup of whatever coffee you want - not a bad deal, since I'm hopelessly addicted to their fresh roast beans. Fantastic coffee, for a true coffee fan to enjoy. Too bad I can't give it 6 stars........... read more

Handcrafted drinks in the heart of downtown Plymouth, what more can you want? Be prepared to get what you pay for - seasonal drinks can cost upwards of $6 with tax. I treat myself on occasion because life is too short for bad coffee. Seating is limited (I don't consider this space 'good for working' because one person taking up a table for hours in a small location isn't considerate, in my opinion) but there is free wifi and if you're in a hurry you can call ahead your drink orders. Each cup, including regular coffee, is brewed to order so if you arrive during a peak time there may be a small wait, but all of the beans are roasted on site so it's all apart of the experience PLUS you're supporting a local business. Whole beans are also for sale, as are a few delicious pastries (I can't resist a biscotti whenever I stop by). read more

This place is just great! I just moved to the Metro-Detroit Area from Seattle and I was worried that I wouldn't find a great little independent coffee shop. Espresso Elevado would give any place in Seattle a run for its money. The latte was perfect and the shop is very bright and friendly. I parked my computer in the corner and did some work here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and there was a good crowd of people coming and going. If you're looking for great coffee around Plymouth, stop by and check this place out. read more

Best latte in Michigan; period. Perfect serving temperature, freshly roasted beans, phenomenal taste, clean finish. Always consistent. Stop by, have a 606 latte and it'll probably be the most rewarding thing you do for yourself that day. read more

I don't like the regular coffee chains at all so always prefer a local coffee restaurant. Sweet coco chocolate latte is what I tried here and was wonderful .. It's indeed a great coffee place and I'd like to go back to it again and again every time I visit Detroit. read more

Love love love. Such a cute shop and they make all sorts of coffee of my dreams. 6 oz capps, pour overs, aeropresses, and options for espresso. It's small, but there's a lot of love packed into this place. I highly recommend it. If you want a sugar fancy pants sparkle drink, they can do that too and well. If you want "just a cup of coffee" it's great. If you are wearing tight pants and want a cortado, you can get it. And it all will be good. Not a ton of seating, but you always shoot your espresso and run anyway, right? read more

Really enjoyed my time there. Unfortunately I think it does lack the space to be a prototypical coffee shop. You can maybe sit 8-12 people in this location comfortably. The coffee though was quite excellent although next time I will sadly be getting it to go. read more

Elevado makes my favorite coffee drinks. I wish I had my basic bitch vanilla latte from there right now. Their hot chocolate is silky and lovely and I want to bathe myself in it. This is also my wife's favorite place to get coffee in the area, so we come here on the weekends as a special treat. Staff have always been friendly too. I'm leaving off one star for two main reasons: (1) it's like they're a victim of their own success or maybe i'm just unlucky, but my wait time for my coffee is longer here than any other coffee place (coffee-eria?) I visit. That wouldn't be so bad, but (2) the building is tiny and whenever I'm at Elevado, there are more people in there than they have room to fit. All chairs are always taken and there's barely any standing room, so that's a bummer. And worst of all, the doors open into the building, so when I'm trying to carry 2 molten lava coffees and pull open two doors to get out of a building that's about 3'x4.5' feet, i get frustrated. But what're ya gonna do, right? I'm sure if they could magic their building to be a bit bigger, they probably would. But I'm still salty about those doors. GREAT coffee, but their doors are ass if you're getting coffee to go. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and not in a rush. read more

If I could give 3.5stars I would but I can't so I went with 3 for a couple reasons....The seating is limited...4 tables all 2-tops. Our group had three people so that was kind of inconvenient to not have anywhere else to sit in there; couch, patio, ottoman, whatever or a 4-top table. Other thing was we were looking for something small or light to go with our coffee but their selection, while good looking and tempting wouldn't do the trick to fill any of us up so 2 of us ended up down at panera (unfortunately...i'd rather support a small business but i also need food in the morning) One of my friends did get a mocha coffee here and it was amazing! Very tasty and something I will definitely order when I go back.Highly recommend it! This would be a great place to go to read a book (tables aren't very big, don't think you could get a laptop and notebook on the table too for homework or research) or talk to a friend one-on-one. From going there and reading the reviews on here there seems no wrong order so check it out and enjoy the high quality coffee! read more

Wonderful, cozy atmosphere with the most friendly and helpful staff I could've asked for. Amazing place, will definitely be back even though it's a bit of a drive from my home. Due to covid, they currently have outside ordering via QR code and only pickup inside but it's an efficient system and a great place to try out! Would recommend! read more

Once I finally made my way into Espresso Elevado for my first cup of heaven, it's been very difficult for me to stay away. Their on site roasting proves to be a phenomenal beginning to perfection. The Cinnamon Spice Latte was so good that I didn't want my cup to empty - I had to drink slowwwwwly and found myself scraping every last bit out with my finger. The Buttered Sea Salt Breve was so delicious that it's probably a good thing that it's only 8oz. because I could drink this all day long. Made with a homemade butterscotch syrup (that can be added to other drinks as well) that is sinful. As a bona fide coffee snob with 20+ years in Seattle to back me up, I am incredibly pleased to have found a local roaster with a quiet atmosphere and friendly barista's that actually know their product well. I am looking forward to trying many other tempting items on their menu plus seasonal offerings. read more

Book marked this place long time ago but didn't get a chance to visit until this afternoon. cozy place with 5~6 tables, I like the fact that they decide to use more space for the roasting/preparation than dinning area. My visit was quick stop and go situation so I am not qualify to comment on the service but... Coffee Taste GREAT! Def one of the best you can find around this area, I will even dare to say best around Detroit/surrounding cities. Not the most convenient location, not the most fancy place that you like to take your date but If you are searching for great tasting coffee, I recommend this place. read more

If you like Gooood coffee or chi... Go here! I Love this place... And I love the owner. Great staff, awesome smells, small cozy setup inside, there is not a whole lot to it, just people with a love for what they do. I can say I will happily go broke because of this place. read more

Coffee roasted onsite. Award winning. Best espresso and latte in the area. Located in beautiful downtown Plymouth.

This place was made for those who admire a carefully crafted cup of coffee. I've been coming here since they opened, but my boyfriend and I have been coming much more regularly as of recently. Espresso Elevado has spoiled me to the point where I don't consider purchasing coffee from Starbucks anymore. Their space is small, and was perfect sized when they first opened. However, they are becoming increasingly popular and I rarely plan on getting my drink "for here" because there is nearly never an open table. I won't argue with anyone that says this place is pricy, but I believe their costs are justified in the quality, sourcing and location that e2 provides. Even without a line, their coffee making process takes around 5 minutes. With a line, expect to wait 15 minutes. The wait is worth it. Trust me. read more

A place to return to... if you enjoy coffee this is the place to be. Deliciosa all the way around! Only downside - is when it's busy there's not enough seating and if it's cold out that becomes more of a problem. read more

Best Americanos around. Roasted coffee is excellent.

I love you, Yelpers. I gravitated to this little place because of you. I had an espresso cream soda type drink. I can't remember what the hell it was called. My boyfriend tried the Lavender Vanilla Bean Latte. My friend tried the Lemongress Latte. We were swapping cups back and forth...Everything was delicious and the barista was really nice. Really limited seating, which was okay for us because we just wanted to grab and go. Cute place though. I would definitely go back! read more

Loved the Oolong Almond tea! Had a nutty and smooth flavor. They steep it from loose leaves and time it for the perfect steep, so you don't get any bitterness or the cheaper bagged teas. They have a ton of different coffee brewing methods here. My boyfriend tried the aeropress for the first time, after hearing that it is one of the best extraction methods. It tasted pretty good, but nothing amazing. The baristas were nice and patient with us as we decided what to order, but after we ordered the aeropress, they complained to each other about what a pain it is to do it and kept trying to push the task to the other person. It made us feel slightly uncomfortable since we could hear their entire conversation. Besides that, we really enjoyed our visit. It's a small cafe though, so seating is limited and can probably get loud with all the chatter. They also have a nice collection of pastries. I saw a gluten free option as well. read more
