From the very beginning, Serafin was responsive, communicative, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He answered every question, explained things without making me feel like I should already know the answer, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and who was responsible for what. And perhaps the greatest compliment I can give is that very little went wrong--which, on a major project on a 101-year-old house, is no small thing. But there were a few moments when something needed attention, and that is where I really saw the quality of the company. Every snag was met with responsibility rather than defensiveness, and with swift, practical remediation. I never felt like I had to chase anyone down or argue to have something addressed. Serafin simply listened, figured it out, and took care of it. The roof itself is beautiful. We went with a Viejo blended tile, which gives the new roof variation and character rather than making it look like a brand-new, uniform roof was dropped onto a century-old house. Serafin was incredibly patient as I worked through those aesthetic decisions, and the finished result is exactly what I hoped for.
