Great food. Good music. Lovely place supporting local artists and a great location to hang in a casual yet elevated atmosphere.

Outside patio dining area

Came here on a Saturday night. It wasn't too crowded, and the air was nice outside, so we sat in the patio. They had live music. The performer was good and the speakers were at a good volume. Not too loud. The food was just ok. I don't think it's worth the price. The cocktails are better. Our server was very nice and helpful. She was a lot of fun. In the middle of our meal, a whole wedding showed up and set up their reception in the patio area. That was a little weird. We didn't expect it. And they took over the stage area.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary the place is average nothing special the service average we ordered food and waited two hours to be served and we were the only customers in the entire restaurant a shame because the food and drinks were delicious

Oxtail Empanadas

We enjoyed the atmospher, drinks and food immensely. Highly recommend visiting as the paella was an amazing dish to share. Started with the oxtail empanadas.

Agua Rojo

A coworker recommended this place and so glad I listened. I sat in the bar area and the service I received there was phenomenal. The bartenders were so helpful and everything I tried was based on their recommendations. For my drink, I had the Agra Rojo - it was so refreshing. I loved how there was fresh watermelon juice and the chile salt was such a nice add to the drink. For food, I have to say first I didn't have a big appetite due to a late lunch, therefore I ordered appetizers. I had the oxtail empanadas which was delicious with the sauce it came with. My other dish was the Basque which is a crostini. One had pepperoni and other things and the other had Buffalo mozzarella with balsamic and candied walnut. All my dishes were absolutely mouth watering. Next time I come I will definitely make sure to have an appetite so I can try and entree. I highly recommend this place - Salud.

4/5 overall - great cocktail lounge!…read more Parking - adequate Atmosphere- modern, comfortable, upscale interior design/curated and well styled Happy Hour - menu is small but adequate. I'd rather them offer a limited selection of specials that are all tasty and well crafted than a huge special menu but everything tastes bland or is not fresh. All HH items are $10 or less. As far as the happy hour window, pretty disappointed. They open at 6p which is late for most professionals. We arrived at 6p and the door was locked. If you want to unwind after work, you'll have to stop somewhere else first or just go straight home because if you start happy hour at 6p, you won't be leaving til 8:30p. Cocktails- I had the Paloma and the Dracula which were both great but the Dracula was absolutely gorgeous and flavorful! I will definitely come back to try more cocktails. Bites - The empanadas are perfect. Good fundamental taste, not too crispy or too spicy, allows the dipping sauces to complement them instead of overpowering. I also tasted a bit of the fries. I thought they were great. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

We made reservations and received a call for confirmation. As we sat at the bar, we were served by the bartender, Diamond who was helpful, attentive and willing to answer questions. The three different martinis on Happy Hour menu were excellent, especially the espresso and dirty martini. The empanadas were filled with great flavors of chicken and cheese. The Bond fries we recommend, fries topped with caramelized onions, animal dressing and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The spiced mixed nuts, were okay. The charcuterie board was filled with 4 different meats, 4 different cheeses, olives, tomatoes and toast. If any constructive criticism, I would put a few crackers on the board, however it was a great treat! We will be back. Things to be aware, you need a reservation and there is a dress code.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the perfect balance of cozy and upscale. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly crafted and a great complement to the meal. Overall, this place truly delivers on service, ambiance, and amazing food and drinks. It's the kind of spot you can't wait to come back to and recommend to friends. Highly recommend!

The server/bartender was rude, dismissive, and acted annoyed when asked for something as basic as a drink refill. The only time he showed any level of attentiveness was when the apparent manager was present -- once they were gone, so was any effort or professionalism. Despite being the only table, our food took over an hour to come out, with no explanation or apology. This was the first time in my life I've ever left a zero tip, and it was absolutely earned. What made it worse? The server/bartender noticed and actually followed us out to our car just to give us a sarcastic thumbs-up. Completely inappropriate, uncomfortable, and beyond unprofessional. Save your time and money. This place clearly has no standards for service or behavior. I will not be returning to the McAllen, Tx. location!

Earlier in the evening, they don't play any music so you can chat uninterrupted, but later on, they do turn on music. It definitely didn't fit the vibe. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had reservations, but I'm sure you can walk in as well. We ordered the kimchi lamb frites to start. Most of the appetizers were not pregnancy friendly, so we opted for these. The lamb was pretty salty for my taste. The woods sauce was yummy though. Not too sure where the kimchi came in, because all I got was lamb in the frite. I ordered the roasted game hen as my main. Hubby got the lasagna. I was happy with my choice. It was a hearty soup. The grilled lemon was weird. Messy to squeeze since it's sitting in the soup. You can definitely taste the grill on the bok choy. It was a nice balance with the hen. I really enjoyed it. Since I couldn't have any alcohol, I ordered the ice cream sandwich for dessert. It's a vanilla ice cream between two cookies, with banana and nuts. It was perfect. Not too sweet and was a perfect finish. I ate it like a cake. Portion was large so I didn't finish it. Overall we had a lovely evening. Can't wait to go again :)
