We were recommend to him by his wife, Rhonda Foreman, who just so happens to be Laine's (my fiancé) aunt. On January 2nd we paid Myles $1,000 for the pre wire of audio and video in our new home, which was completed. On February 3rd, we wrote BTZ Audio & Video a $21,469.19 check for the audio and video equipment, which was cashed/deposited around February 6th. Laine was going build Myles and his aunt Rhonda a fence as a "trade off" to cover the labor portion of the project. After Myles showed some red flags and said we were going to have to pay him even more money on top of the money had already paid for the pre wire, equipment, and the "trade off" of the fence for labor, we decided to have another audio & video company quote us for THE EXACT SAME THING. They were THOUSANDS cheaper.... Not just thousands but HALF THE PRICE. So, we did what any smart person would do and asked for a refund for the equipment portion of $21,469.19. Myles informed us that he would refund us $12,677.57 because he had to charge us a "restock fee" but had previously told Laine he hadn't purchased any of the items and his wife, Laine's aunt Rhonda, told me the equipment was purchased in December or January. (I wrote the check on February 3rd) ... After some back and forth, we were told to just take what we can get because they obviously needed the money more than we did. The last communication we had with Myles was an email from his lawyer on August 7th stating that Myles Foreman and BTZ Audio & Video does indeed intend to pay us back the $12,677.57 BUT sadly they are experiencing a "temporary" business downturn and doesn't have the money to pay us at the moment but it is one of Myles top priorities... Now, this came as a shock to us considering they're constantly posting on Facebook that they are on vacation, took a weekend trip here and there, went to every concert in DFW, and we even saw them at the Casino. We responded to the email saying that if they have the money to do the above, they have the money to pay us back and they had till the end of the month (August 31st) to do so. What came after that? Crickets. Well except for a Facebook post from Laine's Aunt Rhonda, with a picture of her and Myles with the caption "ATTENTION...ATTENTION: All CREEPERS take notice... they're on vacation again... and will be at a concert tomorrow! Take notes and report!!!! THAT IS ALL!!!! ". Embarrassing right??? You steal money from your own nephew and brag about it on Facebook. Very weird energy to have. I had enough and decided to leave a little sarcastic comment stating "I hope you're having the best time on our dime! ". And then the whole family was blocked... l guess she didn't like seeing the truth. ‍ I had to leave out a lot of the nitty gritty details or you'd be reading this post all day but if you made it this far, no we still don't have our money back, beware of Myles and Rhonda Foreman and BTZ Audio & Video, and if you want receipts... we got them. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST.. BTZ Audio Video, LLC AND MYLES FOREMAN have now filed bankruptcy as of August 18th, 2024 and has since then "rebranded" as Flex-Able Integration and is now under Rhonda's name!! This was a way for Myles and Rhonda to not have to pay us and apparently the rest of their debts back.... all of this is public information. As I am now blocked from the new page, I am unable to warn others about these scam artists.

From the beginning I knew things were not going to end well because of Mr. Foreman's nonchalant…read morelaidback and unprofessional type of attitude. When I hire a company I like to feel at ease knowing I hired professionals with the most basic level of respect that comes with conducting business with a company. In July 2019 I hired and paid $21,000 up front for a full sound system and wireless network for a new business. I made the that decision based on a friend who knew Myles Foreman the owner of the company. Mr Foreman presented me with three different invoices and we agreed on the one that was adequate for my business. At the time demolition had just started, I started scheduling the contractors in order of what needed to be completed. Mr Foreman insisted to get started at the same time as the electricians because according to him that was going to facilitate the whole process. Mr Foreman rushed to dump all the brand new equipment which got covered in dust and looked scratched. He ran some wires and laid them on top of the ceiling tile grid which was not acceptable by the city code. When I told him this he gave me one of his well known evasive responses and billed me an additional $1,000 to put zip ties to attach them to the main structure. As construction progressed, he said he needed to wait until everyone else was done to finish his job (yet he had insisted to be in at the same time as the electricians). He pressure me to pay him which seemed shady throughout this process. I was feed up with his shameless scam-like attitude and asked him to stop the job but then he charged me for the "labor they did" and told me if I wanted he was only going to give me a few thousand of the $21K I had already paid because he had already delivered the equipment and it was my problem. So I waited to have everyone else finish their job. All the walls were freshly painted and the new floors were laid down. I called to tell him we were ready so he scheduled to come in 3 weeks because he was too busy. His crew came to "finish the installation " but they were clueless as to where they had ran the wires and started cutting holes wherever they felt like so in the process they installed speakers in different places to where they originally assigned. This created a whole new problem with the electricians, because the speakers where now blocking the connections for the track lights. If I had BTZ move them to where they were supposed to go, I would have to patch the sheetrock and ceiling which would increase expenses. At the end of the day they were to finish installation, he realized he had his crew committed to another job so he scheduled me another 2 weeks out. They fixed some of the issues they made but I asked them not to make holes in the walls with out consulting me first. But they starting writing on the walls, cutting the walls, and got everything dirty. Fast forward 10 months. The last 6 speakers were installed, but they were not installed where they were initially supposed to be but instead they were installed in random places. The $1,000 that was pending for the zip ties was pending so he had one of his employees request the payment so I told him to pick it up any other time since I did not have the checkbook with me. About a month went by and I did not hear from BTZ. I received an invoice last Monday and a voice mail the next day and by Wednesday he shutdown my wireless router remotely. Unaware of what happened, I called my service provider and they told me everything was fine and that I needed to talk to the person who did the wireless installation. I had to run my business without music and could not run payments for two days because he had turned off the internet connection. He conducted business in a shady, unprofessional, and completely mediocre manner. He never walked the space after everything was done to make sure things were done properly and when I expressed my frustration with the messes from his employees, he did not do anything about them. His service was overpriced, inconsistent, unreliable, and dishonest.

Last weekend after searching on YELP for various audio video installers in the north east Dallas…read morearea, I contacted three installers and ended up choosing Honest Install of Richardson, TX. When talking to John, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about Audio/Video installs. He suggested I go with a Sonos Port to allow streaming over the internet, but noted that it was backordered months. I also decided to hold off on two other items he recommended until I could have his crew review my media room setup and verify whether there was other equipment that I needed. By the end of the day on Monday, I had approved an estimate for installation of whole home speakers and a media room setup and received a scheduled install start time of between 9-10am on Thursday. On Thursday, the install crew arrived in the scheduled time window and worked professionally to get the installation completed. They also suggested a couple of other items. John and I talked later in the day on Thursday and mentioned that the crew could install the additional items (other than the Sonos Port) on Friday. I agreed. When the crew arrived on Friday, I was happily suprises that they had a Sonos Port. Long story short, they installed the equipment and took time to show my wife (who is technically challenged) how to get the streaming working on her phone and complete the full setup. Awesome work and customer service. I highly recommend John's team at Honest Install for all of your audio/visual needs. Of note: John is a busy guy. He mentioned up front that the best way to reach him is on his phone as he is often traveling for work.

Did just that and received a very fair offer to replace two ceiling speakers with a new pair I had received as a gift (most other companies refused to work with me because I didn't buy the speakers from them). Guys showed up on time as promised and were out of here in an hour or so. They cleaned up and, most importantly, were very courteous (even wearing masks due to COVID which I appreciated). I have a couple of other projects I need to get to later on down thand I'll call these guys up again without hesitation!

Mixed feelings about hiring Mike's company to mount my 82" TV…read more First, and most importantly, Michael was super nice and polite and professional - had all the necessary tools, and his assistant even brought along a mini shop-vac to clean up. No weird vibes, and I was extremely comfortable leaving them in my apartment while I ran some quick errands in my apartment complex. Found them through Google and communication was prompt and professional. No solid pricing given in text though requested, only a range over the phone beforehand during our intial call, however it was in the same range as another quote I received. They offered a convenient 3-hour time window and arrived later in the day per my request so I could run errands during the day. Also discussed buying an 85" Frame TV from them, to be delivered later. Originally was told he would price match, and upon leaving he said he would call me with prices - so it remains to be seen if he will actually price match. The TV was mounted nicely for a decent total cost of $286, including their thin-profile mount. However, the TV is off-center by about 3 inches, which is a letdown given my attention to detail. I mentioned it in a text to him when I also requested a copy of my receipt. I received the receipt, but no reply to my comment about the TV being off-center. Opted not to install the soundbar due to aesthetic concerns with my future install of The Frame. I ended up buying The Frame and mounting it with my buddy. Unfortunately, due to the lack of simple precision on my bedroom TV, I couldn't justify hiring Mike again.

I'm sorry to say I didn't/haven't had a good experience with MS Installations…read more I recently hired them to put together a simple hanging wall shelf and to hang it & my 55 inch TV on the wall above it and hide the wires. I provided the shelf and they the mount and an extra $60 to get the wall outlet up to code. I was charged $390 for all of that and I did feel like it was too much at the time but I just wanted it done and did not want to have to bother my friends or family to try to do this for me. The Technician could not figure out how to get the remote from my TV or cable box to work my sound bar which it was doing prior to them coming out and after several minutes I told them he could go home because it was late and that I would call the sound bar company. I spent just over an hour with the sound bar company the next day and we could not figure out the issue. This is a soundbar I bought less than a year prior and the most expensive one I've ever purchased because I wanted something of a good quality. The tech also left The wire connecting the TV to the sound bar showing and told me that it could not be hidden. That was something that bothered me aesthetically but I painted it to match my wall paint and figured I would just have to live with that because I trusted that was accurate. After watching TV for a while I noticed a popping type sound coming from the subwoofer that was never happening before as well as the fact That now my streaming shows were buffering and that almost never happened before. When the technician was here and taking down/apart my set up I pointed out to him that I put an ethernet hard cable from the Wi-Fi router to the TV because I always felt that gives you a better connection. He said it is not necessary and I didn't watch him but it turns out he didn't put a hard cable after all. Obviously he was wrong because then anything I watched streaming was buffering quite a lot and not as clear half the time! Very frustrating so I reached out to the technician that did the work and was told that they would have to charge a $65 service fee to come back out. I decided then to see if I can live with it or figure it all out. I'm still flabbergasted that the work they did messsed up the quality of my audio/visual and they wanted to charge me to come back out and fix it. My nephew came over a few days later and he synced up my cable remote to the sound bar but he couldn't figure out the weird sound when I would pause the channel or change channels coming from the subwoofer so JBL/Harman sent me an email with several suggestions to try out which included changing the cables/ports. MS Installations Provided the hardware to hang my TV and it was one that is flush to the wall so I can't see/reach back there to change the cables. Therefore my sister and her boyfriend had to come over to take the TV off of the wall and we tested out other cables. Something I avoided doing and felt like I was overpaying for the work in the first place because I didn't want to bother my sisters boyfriend who has helped me out in the past. My sister had to come because I just had shoulder surgery and cannot lift anything. So after 2 hours my friend got the Ethernet cable back up and we ran the soundbar cable through the wall using the same opening the tech left. Clearly it could have been hidden in the wall. Not sure why he would tell me that? Maybe since it was late he just wanted to get home and didn't wanna have to take the TV back down when he realized he hadn't hidden that??? And now I may have to have the sound bar people mail me out a whole new one because we can't figure out why is making these noises which means I'd have to ask my friend and sister or someone else to come back over that can take the tv off the wall to get the cables off the sound bar to replace with a new one. I did reach out to MS installations and pointed out these issues and that there was no issue with my sound bar or streaming until they did the work and that I paid $390 so I wouldn't have to bother anyone else - but as indicated above several people and several hours (including travel) happened just to get the tv/set up as close to perfect as possible. I've asked for a partial refund 4 days ago with no response yet but am hopeful the company will do the right thing eventually. So, sorry for the long post, but my experience is one that I could not recommend this company to anyone as it stands. On a positive note when they showed up there were two men and since I recently had surgery and can't do this myself they did move my entertainment center to my garage that my TV had been standing on and I'm not sure if that would have been included in the price or not but I do appreciate that.
