As I walked into the front lobby I felt like I had been transported into a different place. The atmosphere was quite different than what I had expected. It had a "magical" feel to it. There were lots of little things to make it feel that way to me from the brick paved floors, to the dark painted walls, to the studded door, to the word "lumos" being on the light switch, even the very cool furniture in the lobby. The rooms were extremely detailed down to it feeling like we were on a train and it was snowing outside. Everything is of high quality. You can tell a lot of time was spent planning and preparing for our entertainment. The owners and staff greeted us with smiles and gladly answered any questions we had. There were 7 in our group, and we attempted the Budapest room. I say attempted because we were so close to escaping but we failed. We got the clues just not in time. It was so much fun. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Escapology for some fun. They are opening December 12, and are located in Bartlett directly behind Popeyes. read more

This place is amazing!!!! First time I've ever been to an escape room but the people that me and my husband went with had been to lots of different ones. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and even offered us free drinks while we were there. Tim helped us at the front desk and got us setup and ready to go for the rooms. The building itself is spotless and a very well decorated facility. We made it through the "Shanghaied" room escaping in 51 mins so we attempted another room "Budhapest Express" and failed. We had everything we needed to figure out the last code but didn't get it done in time. The owner just happened to be there and I don't think that anyone could have been nicer! I have done escape rooms in the past, but this was my favorite. We did "Budapest express", a murder mystery themed room. We are A family of four aged 13 to 65. And this room had something for everyone.. there were high and low tech, math, logic and non-linear thinking puzzles. We were given clues when we were falling behind and seemed frustrated, but were not "led by the nose" by our game-master, Jenny. She did an excellent job! Oh also they keep the place cool, which is so welcome on hot summer days Thank you, we will go again! Check groupon for a discount, I think it saved us $20. read more

Went here with my two HS kids that love puzzles and mysteries. WE LOVED IT. The story was great and the set and challenges were immersive and fit well with the story. Some other escape rooms we have been to had fun puzzles but the puzzles didn't fit the story or the room. Staff was very professional and everything worked great in the room. We will definitely return when the kids get stir crazy on a rainy summer break day. Oh yeah, and we escaped with less than one minute remaining:) read more

Absolutely a great time. This place was very clean, well kept and had plenty of comfy places to sit while we waited for our room to get ready. Katelyn did a fantastic job asking if we needed water, showing us the restroom and even allowing us to charge our phones. We had a large group and the directions given were very clear. Most of us were new to escape rooms, but caught on quickly and worked together to solve the puzzle. We did Budapest Express... and we escaped! read more

This is one of the most amazing rooms I have ever done. Once you step in, the waiting area gives you a great mysterious feel. One thing I wish could happen is to sign the waiver before you arrived, however, they did have plenty of tablets to sign in on. Once in the room, the puzzles fit the theme and even the timer matched. They do penalize after the third hint, but worth it. I would definitely return to do another one! read more

Five friends and I went last night to do the Budapest Express. The lobby was nice, the staff was welcoming, and the room itself was very detailed. (Bonus: the bathrooms were spotless!) The puzzles themselves inside the room were a challenge. The scenario was really detailed and you got a great sense of the story from the items in the room. It was really a fantastic experience and we're already planning our next trip. read more

Amazing fun!! First try at an escape room - can't wait to go back! As soon as you walk in the front door, you feel like you've walked into an adventure - decor is amazing. They have 4 themed rooms - and we gave "Antidote" a try - close but didn't finish. Next time - we will try "Budapest". Went for the second time and did not disappoint. Had a great time and beat the game in both the Antidote and Budapest rooms!! Now we are anxiously waiting for the new Seven Sins room to open. This was our first time at this Escapology location. We booked the Antidote room and it was really fun. This room is a great room to start with if you've never done an escape room before. We found this place while road tripping across country and we had an absolute blast! The place is a little hidden off the road but it was completely worth the search and cost!
