It's fun. The maze itself was a bit small so it took less than an hour to really get out. Beforehand we have gotten food from this stand, and honestly I just wish there were more options because the food was a bit mid. As fun as you make it! After all these years, with a group of family & friends, I finally did the corn maze. It was a bit hot this Sunday afternoon, but tolerable. We had a good time, mostly due to the fun personalities in the group. I can see why reviews could be mixed. Not a whole lot to see, other than dried-up corn, for the daytime / non-haunted maze. So I'm thankful for the Groupon Deal (2 Tickets for$9)! Tickets are $7 at the gate & they only take cash! There's corn-trivia clues along the way to help direct you in the right direction. We had fun & got out in just under 45 mins. read more

We love to go to the Corn Maze every fall. It's located in the Agricenter and is a fun fall time activity. It opens for the season on September 16 and runs until October 31. They have lot's of things to do: The maze of course- which can get challenging so plan about 30 minutes for navigating it. Be sure to wear boots if it has been raining. The Corn Cannon- for $1.00 you get three shoots of a cannon filled with corn. For some reason the kids love the Corn Cannon the best. The Haunted Hayride- only on Friday and Saturday nights in October. It's a 15 minute ride for $5.00. It's not too scary, but I don't recommend it for kids under 8. If you have smaller ones take them before it gets too dark, then it's not as scary to them. The Haunted Corn Maze runs Friday and Saturday nights in October and is best for kids 13 up. This is a great activity for teens. Last year they had some concessions- nachos, funnel cakes, popcorn etc. You could also buy smores in a bag and roast them in a big bonfire. I love the Corn Maze every year! It's just a great fall activity. This year's may not have been quite as challenging as last year's, but that's okay. We still had a great time. PLUS-we got the chance to be inside Marc Gasol!!! (I know that sounds terrible, but just go with it!) I have to respect the dedication to the Home Team shown by the designer of this maze!! We went to the Haunted Maze on a cloudy night, after it had rained all day. It was cloudy, which made the lighting around the area more eerie. However, it was really muddy and slippery. For the adults, we were more cautious. But the kids wore their muddy clothes like badges of honor! Overall, it was so much fun! This corn maze has two different options. Go during daylight hours without the zombies and such and just have a good time finding your way through the maze OR go after dark to have the zombie encounter. I sort of did a combination of the two. We arrived a little before dusk and made it out as the zombies were beginning to haunt the maze. During the day it is a lot of fun to try to make your way through by figuring out the clues to pick the correct direction to go. At night, those questions are covered and you just have to find your way the best way you can. We enjoy doing this every year. We also opted for the haunted hayride. It isn't that long of a ride but it's only $5 per person and it is so much fun watching others jump and scream. :) read more

The Mid-South Corn maze is a great Fall tradition! It's always so much fun walking through the corn stalks and reading the clues to know which way to turn next. You can either walk the entire maze if you have the time/energy or stop at the half way mark and still feel accomplished! I have been to this a few times in the past 10 years: with a Brownie troop, a Middle school Church youth group and as a family outing. The maze is a fun activity--a departure fromVideo games and passive entertainment. This is very Interactive and yes challenging. It's fun to work as a group to find your escape. I have never been at night but my kids tell me it can be ridiculously and simultaneously fun and scary. Maybe this will be the year I go in the dark. read more

Misty's right- the Corn Maze is so much fun. Opening on September 16, it's a perfect fall family destination. They've done some really cool mazes in the past- Elvis, the Memphis Grizzlies, a pharoah, and even Munch's Scream. My favorite is the Memphis Tiger maze. Can't wait to see what they have this year. Kids will love the Corn Cannon, and the jumping pillow (a huge jumping surface that will fit 40 kids). There's also a haunted hayride and a haunted maze. I haven't done either one of those. If it wasn't for the muddy field, I would have enjoyed this event much more! It was a fun experience, there's clues along the way to help guide you through... however, we didn't take the time to read them because they were kinda tricky... so we just strolled on through and made our way out within an hour. Its a bit boring now that I think about it... if I were to go again next year, I would go on one of their haunted maze nights as I could see how that could be a frightening experience. Also, be sure if you are to go, that it did not rain within the past few days... if so, bring some rain boots! read more

We had a great time at this maze! We found coupons online that made it affordable then we split up...guys versus girls. The maze is large and challenging. Occasionally throughout the maze there will be a riddle or question that you answer to let you know which direction to keep going. I thought that made it extra fun! Once we were done with the maze we headed over to a corn slingshot game. We shot corn out of a cannon at specific signs. If you hit one of the signs you get a prize! There were other fun games to play and good photo ops. We will probably return in the next week or so to try the haunted version! read more

Whoever says you're too old for corn mazes, don't listen to them. Every time I enter a corn maze, I expect to be taken by the children of the corn. Luckily that hasn't happen yet. This was my second year visiting the Mid-South Corn Maze. While last years corn maze was a bit harder than this years, it was still fun. I was able to grab a groupon deal before they sold out and got 2 tickets for 8 bucks. I would say it probably took between 20-30mins to complete. They have a haunted corn maze they do at night but I've yet to have time to go. It was a fun and entertaining day and I'll probably be back again next year. read more

This maze is okay. I would not recommend going simply because it isn't monitored by staff and some unruly teenagers ruined our experience. My baby was hit in the face by a teen throwing corn from a location where he couldn't be seen. If you don't mind being around loud, rude teenagers then go ahead and go. Absolute disaster. Seriously. My friends and I complete a haunted house/maze tour every year and this is the first time in years that we have all been living in Memphis and were able to do the maze together since we were in high school. This was honestly the worst experience at a "haunted attraction" that we've ever had. One of the kids working it was too busy getting girls' numbers to do his job of scaring people. Others were talking with friends who were visiting them. Lights were broken and on the ground inside of the maze. Other props were broken and discarded on the inside. Workers sat with us while we waited for big groups to pass and complained about how they hated their jobs. A group of three of them were sitting in the maze smoking when we passed by and one of them actually said "Yeah, I know, I'm bad at this job.... boo...." when we passed without acknowledging them. The corn was absolutely pathetic and was probably about 5 feet high at most. For most of the time, we could see over the top of it. Honestly, the employees seemed to be about as over the experience as the corn was... and the only people who wanted to say "F*ck this" more were us. The scariest part of all of it was trying to park. I normally don't post negative reviews because I understand that working with the public is hard, but Worst. Experience. Ever. read more
