So much fun! I went for an office event and my team went to the Bloody Circus room. As a horror…read morefan, I appreciated the immersive details for this room. Lots of fake blood, creepy clowns, and even some jump scares built in. Definitely use your brain and think outside the box!! The puzzles were really unique. The only feedback I have is some of the puzzles were a bit wonky probably because a lot of people have been touching them so there are things that should be tuned up or fixed. Trying not to spoil so I'll try to be as vague as I can while giving feedback. So there's one puzzle where you have to smell things but everything smelled like the same rotten/rancid smell so my team members and I content differentiate the scents and had to randomly guess instead of actually solving the puzzle. There's another puzzle where you have to turn something but it was wonky from wear and tear and the tracks on them were worn down. Paul was our game master, and did a great job. He also said this room was the hardest one and the scariest one out of them all.

The commitment to the theme is impressive and consistent throughout. Some of the clues are definitely challenging and occasionally a bit unclear, but the overall atmosphere and storytelling make up for it. I've done both the Haunted Hotel and the Jail rooms, and both delivered a memorable, immersive experience.

The guys working here are very friendly and entertaining, and seem to care a lot about guests having fun and asked us for feedback near the end as well. Parts of the rooms do seem a bit dated, and there were certain puzzles that did not make much sense to us even after we solved them. That being said, I think overall they were well thought out and enjoyable to work through. I'm still not sure which room I enjoyed more. I think the laboratory had more interesting puzzles to me, and the penitentiary had a lot of moving parts/puzzles that made it a bit confusing in terms of chronology, but that's a part of the fun of a lot of escape rooms. I would come again if I'm in the area, and look forward to future improvements under the new ownership.

The escape rooms here at OMEscape are very fun, challenging, and a unique activity for a night out. You get 70 minutes to try to escape, and are able to ask for hints if you get stuck. This is one of the more intricate escape rooms that I have done, with unique puzzles that you probably have never seen before. Matt is very funny and plays a good character, and definitely makes the escape room experience way more enjoyable. The price is very worth it as you get 70 mins to escape, while most other rooms I've seen only give 60. There are multiple different rooms to try, so I know if I come back I will get an entirely new experience. Looking forward to coming back here when in NYC!

Ashley was our moderator, and she was so enthusiastic! This was the best experience I have had here, so they either upgraded their moderation systems, or Ashley is that amazing! I enjoyed our experience with The Witch's Curse. Everything made sense, and many of the puzzles tied into the theme. Like their other rooms, I like that they use a variety of puzzles, not just locks everywhere. Overall, I still stand by my previous review that I think their rooms could be more challenging. However, I would highly recommend Exit to beginners. I like that you can book a private experience, and the pricing is one of the more affordable in the city. The price decreases the more people you have, but a group of 4 is perfect for Exit because the rooms are on the smaller side, and the puzzles are not that complex.

I like that the rooms are private and the game masters asked us how we wanted our hints - we decided on no hints unless we directly asked, but if we were 'stuck' somewhere for 10mins they could give us a nudge. We did each room in about half an hour. We felt the puzzles made logical sense, were satisfying to complete, and didn't have any weird leaps of logic to solve. So while they were not the hardest rooms we've done, we found them very rewarding to complete! The room decor was great and immersive and the game masters were super nice. Very excited to do the other 2 rooms!

Sadly, this one was in my own backyard, and probably one of the most disappointing experiences we ever had together. Let me get something important out of the way. The person assisting us was very kind and helpful, so service was not the issue. The major problems lie in the quality of the room/puzzles, and most importantly, the fun factor. Fyi, we did the room for Guardians of Gotham. When they said that there would be no padlocks, I was somewhat happy. However, that meant way too many number codes and that sucked even more. It felt monotonous and tedious. The puzzles were okay but nothing super interesting. Overall, it just felt like we were solving puzzles, but the theme did not come into play one bit. My goddaughters were very excited about the superheroes theme, yet they said it was boring. I hate to say that I agree, but I do.

The clues were not too linear and it felt like our group could spread out and tackle multiple challenges. My main complaint was that there was a bit too much of a reliance on combination locks and it wasn't always clear why some panel would open up. "Did somebody do something?!" The clues were also sometimes too obvious or too vague. Difficulty: 3/5 (we needed one hint) Decor: 5/5 Tech: 3/5 Story: 4/5 Overall I would say this escape room was in the second quartile of all rooms. In NYC it was among the better ones. I also think this would be a great escape room for kids over 10 years old.

When we walked into the room itself I was already panicking as I did not see much to start the escape process in itself. Hardly any book shelf's, tables or doors to find objects. Everything had a lock on it so we knew we definitely had a mission. Also it was a bit confusing as some things in the room had nothing to do with the escape room. They do mark the items with a red x but it was very unfortunate. We seemed to have been in the corner room which had a real exit door and real elevator which is not the best for safety reasons. With all the fun and excitement someone eventually will try to open them. The puzzle was definitely a lot harder than we anticipated but it felt great when we worked together and figured it out! We did have to ask for clues along the way and they did a great job of not entirely giving it away and letting us decipher it amongst ourselves. This room is 1 hour but the last few mins is always the best. I definitely suggest a large group for these escape rooms they are so much fun. We escaped the exodus !!!!
