We have been to this escape room location on multiple occasions. They are challenging but not TOO hard. We did a Dracula room the first time and this time we did a pirate room. Great experience. I've done a lot of escape rooms and this was definitely a good one. Our 4 person work team did the DaVinci room and needed 4 bonus minutes to complete. All the activity is completed in one small room but there were still lots of puzzles and locks. There was a general flow to the solve but not overly linear. Not a lot of searching is necessary as most clues and items are behind a lock. And you can get unlimited clues in this room. Would definitely want to try their other rooms. read more

The quality of the room(Dracula) was really phenomenal. However, I strongly feel that Escape Room challenges should be 100% brains, 0% physical ability like where a hint can be given if you're stuck and that any age or physical disability could solve, but one of the very first "puzzles" is this extremely precise setup requiring 2 long sticks that carry a ring upward and it requires a very steady hand/wrist and can be very tiring after a while. One slight wrong move and have to start over. There would be no way to get a hint for this, it's 100% physical, no thinking involved and I think it's out of place in any ER. It ate up almost 20 minutes of our time and afterward when I commented about it to the worker, he basically admitted that yeah, it's meant to be a time suck, which is the most painful because the other puzzles were legitimately very cool, creative, well done but we didn't even get to play them out before time was up and ultimately we were about 15-20 min behind pace, so even if we wouldn't have finished the room, we would've gotten much closer without the early thing taking so long read more

I love Escape rooms! We were on vacation in Florida & had a couple nights before we were headed back home. Our son wanted to try an escape room. I've personally done 3 of them before & have purchased from Groupon each time as it makes it more affordable for our group, but the ones I found on Groupon were not available to be reserved for the evening we wanted. We found this one online through Yelp & I decided to message them on FB Messenger & they were very helpful & friendly from the beginning. I believe their prices are originally $25/pp, but they gave me a promo code that lowered it to $22/pp. It was my little family of 3 that includes hubby, our 13 yr old son, myself & then my brother in law & his gf. The amount of people we had for the room was perfect. It was not too crowded & allowed each person to assist in a timely manner. We did Davinci's code & it was pretty challenging! I don't remember the success rate, I believe in the 30th percentile? But we finished it! The employees were very helpful from explaining things & answering our questions. What a great place!! The best part about this place is that their rooms have a linear structure. This means you solve puzzles in order rather than a frenzy of people looking for random things. I wanted to do a different kind of Monthly meeting with my staff. As I was driving back to the office last week I saw their sign on Starkey road. I did some investigating on their website and thought this would be a fun team building event. I was able to book the room with 6 people and I brought 8 and paid the extra at the office. My staff and I had an awesome time and although we missed escaping by only minutes I found this to be a big success, my staff can't wait to go back and tackle the other two rooms. My son, his fiancee and I have been a fan of escape rooms from their time in Myrtle Beach. Today we were looking for one while in Clearwater/Large and fortunately found EEE not too far from our hotel. One of our best choices ever. There 3 rooms....all with differing ways of solving the conundrums you m I ght find yourself in once you choose your scenario. We ch o se Dracula......great choice....tons of puzzles and clues...secret levers etc. What a blast. Staff at the EEE was awesome even though we hadn't made a reservation, they fit us in. Great introduction to their facility and their thought processes on building each room which is s bit different in other ones weve done. Admittedly we came up about 5 minutes short on thr time limit....but t hey let us finish out the challenge. Loved everything about the EEE, and after your room experience there is an adjacent pub to rehydrate afterwards....lol Next time were in ST Pete for another Rays game...were going to try and do one of of the other 2 rooms. Our escape from Dracula's Castle was unsuccessful but we had so much fun trying! This was my first time doing an escape room and my wife's second. This is clearly a hidden gem. We escaped from Dracula's Castle. Although, their most difficult room, we nailed it (him). I really enjoy multiple room escape games. Showing my cousin around Tampa Bay while they are visiting from Canada and searched for fun stuff to do around the area. The guy was really cool and accommodated us even though we don't have reservation. He explained the room clearly and had the chance to choose between the two room that's available. We decided to do the Pirate room and hands down. This room is very challenging and very cool. A lot of mental thinking and physical action as well. He also asked what way he can help us when we are stuck in a challenge and we decided that we will call if we need help. I went here with three kids in tow to do the pirate room. One it was by far the best escape room I've ever done. Also it was the first escape room for the kids (ages 10-12) and they had an absolute blast. It was challenging and a ton of fun. I highly recommend coming here and doing this room especially. I really want to try the Dracula room but maybe with adults, lol. The staff member there, Joe was especially helpful and nice to myself and the kids. This is one of the best escape rooms in the USA! Well done rooms, great staff and just a great experience overall! My personal favorite is the pirate room, but Dracula's Castles is worth a visit also. We didn't have time to try the DaVinci room. Let me start off by saying this staff is incredible. My family members flew in from a variety of states into Tampa for my grandmother's 80th birthday. We had a hard time finding activities but decided to give Escape Room Extreme a call to see if they could accommodate such a big group at once. We spoke with Brad on the phone and he was extremely helpful. We had tons of questions, specifically about what we could do with three young children under the age of 5 while we were there. We were worried because they had three rooms that could accommodate a maximum of 6 people at a time. We had 18 adults total which meant that we would meet the capacity for each room. Brad assured us that there would be no problem and that we would be able to bring the kids into the rooms with us. We went ahead and booked all three rooms. Once we got there, the staff was super friendly and informative of what to expect from the rooms (a lot of us had not done escape rooms before). We had clear instructions on how to proceed through the rooms and we all drew from a hat and got randomly placed into the three rooms (this was our choice after a staff member gave us the idea). The rooms were thoughtfully constructed and full of surprises. The clues and puzzles were awesome and each room carried on with their appropriate themes. All three of our groups escaped (with some help from the staff of course) and we could not stop talking about how much fun we had at Escape Room Extreme. We would love to come back next time we are in town and we highly recommend this place to others who are looking for a great time. read more
