Out of all the escape rooms ive done which is somewhere in the 20 range, this makes top 3 for sure! We had a blast. We did a dracula one which was extremely difficult not recommended for beginners. Even though we didnt make it we were shown some cool stuff at the end. Now this place is connected to a VR golf and bar kind of thing so we hung there and hour before doing this. Place is really cool and I think a hidden gem that some just need to know about read more

The game (The Pirate Ship) that we played was fun. Becca as the hostess was very alert to how we might or might not want help. The first room didn't look as decorated as I had expected and I was thinking I was going to be disappointed but the second room had a lot of fun decor and puzzles. We definitely will be back for more! read more

We have been to this escape room location on multiple occasions. They are challenging but not TOO hard. We did a Dracula room the first time and this time we did a pirate room. Unfortunately while figuring out the puzzles a little black ink or something came off on my hands and that was the only down side of the night for me haha The workers are nice and we had another great experience. read more

Great experience. I've done a lot of escape rooms and this was definitely a good one. Our 4 person work team did the DaVinci room and needed 4 bonus minutes to complete. All the activity is completed in one small room but there were still lots of puzzles and locks. There was a general flow to the solve but not overly linear. Not a lot of searching is necessary as most clues and items are behind a lock. And you can get unlimited clues in this room. Would definitely want to try their other rooms. read more

The quality of the room(Dracula) was really phenomenal. However, I strongly feel that Escape Room challenges should be 100% brains, 0% physical ability like where a hint can be given if you're stuck and that any age or physical disability could solve, but one of the very first "puzzles" is this extremely precise setup requiring 2 long sticks that carry a ring upward and it requires a very steady hand/wrist and can be very tiring after a while. One slight wrong move and have to start over. There would be no way to get a hint for this, it's 100% physical, no thinking involved and I think it's out of place in any ER. It ate up almost 20 minutes of our time and afterward when I commented about it to the worker, he basically admitted that yeah, it's meant to be a time suck, which is the most painful because the other puzzles were legitimately very cool, creative, well done but we didn't even get to play them out before time was up and ultimately we were about 15-20 min behind pace, so even if we wouldn't have finished the room, we would've gotten much closer without the early thing taking so long read more

Escape Room Extreme was a total blast! Three of us solved the Pirate Ship room and found the puzzles and clues to be unique, detailed, and lots of on-theme fun. We absolutely love rooms that are more than one room within the room so Pirate Ship did not disappoint. Some highlights for us were: unlimited clues, clever puzzles, multiroom, not being paired with strangers, great pricing, and the awesome, friendly and helpful staff!! Becca was wonderful!! Will definitely go back to try other rooms! read more

I love Escape rooms! We were on vacation in Florida & had a couple nights before we were headed back home. Our son wanted to try an escape room. I've personally done 3 of them before & have purchased from Groupon each time as it makes it more affordable for our group, but the ones I found on Groupon were not available to be reserved for the evening we wanted. We found this one online through Yelp & I decided to message them on FB Messenger & they were very helpful & friendly from the beginning. I believe their prices are originally $25/pp, but they gave me a promo code that lowered it to $22/pp. It was my little family of 3 that includes hubby, our 13 yr old son, myself & then my brother in law & his gf. The amount of people we had for the room was perfect. It was not too crowded & allowed each person to assist in a timely manner. We did Davinci's code & it was pretty challenging! I don't remember the success rate, I believe in the 30th percentile? But we finished it! The employees were very helpful from explaining things & answering our questions. Now I can say I've done 4 Escape rooms & have escaped them all, 4 out of 4! Can't wait to go back & try their other rooms! read more

Super fun rooms, we all had a great time!!! This place is great for beginners and advanced players!

I went with my husband and stepdaughter today. We did a Pirates adventure escape. It was awesome Lots of fun. We work together to figure out clues and puzzles. Next time we want to try the Da Vincie Challenge escape room! read more

What a great place!! The best part about this place is that their rooms have a linear structure. This means you solve puzzles in order rather than a frenzy of people looking for random things. Having said that, this is ideal for smaller groups. My partner and I completed the Pirate Room in about 50 mins. It was full of surprises and a ton of fun! Tip: price is only $25 on the weekdays before 3 pm read more

We had a blast at the Escape Room Extreme. We did The Pirate Ship room. We highly recommend it. The Staff was very detailed and friendly also. We had such a great experience that we will be back again. Whenever we were stuck we were given clues that helped out. We highly recommend this establishment. So book your room asap and enjoy the excitement as we did. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They never change or rotate their rooms. They lost 5 customers.

Such a fun experience and well designed rooms. Grab a drink and bring it in with you! We were so close with Dracula's Castle and escaped the Pirate Ship with 6 minutes to go. Such a great rainy day activity to do with friends, family or coworkers. read more

I wanted to do a different kind of Monthly meeting with my staff. As I was driving back to the office last week I saw their sign on Starkey road. I did some investigating on their website and thought this would be a fun team building event. I was able to book the room with 6 people and I brought 8 and paid the extra at the office. My staff and I had an awesome time and although we missed escaping by only minutes I found this to be a big success, my staff can't wait to go back and tackle the other two rooms. The staff at Escape Rooms Extreme were fantastic explaining everything, My thanks to JOE he was a great. Don't miss this adventure ! I will definitely be back with my office. read more

We had a lot of fun doing an escape room here. Most of us were newbies and did the DaVinci one. It was great and clues were so interesting to solve. We struggled a bit and that is what was the fun part of the experience. Kyle was nice and polite! We definitely look forward to do one more escape room here again. read more

My son, his fiancee and I have been a fan of escape rooms from their time in Myrtle Beach. Today we were looking for one while in Clearwater/Large and fortunately found EEE not too far from our hotel. One of our best choices ever. There 3 rooms....all with differing ways of solving the conundrums you m I ght find yourself in once you choose your scenario. We ch o se Dracula......great choice....tons of puzzles and clues...secret levers etc. What a blast. Staff at the EEE was awesome even though we hadn't made a reservation, they fit us in. Great introduction to their facility and their thought processes on building each room which is s bit different in other ones weve done. Admittedly we came up about 5 minutes short on thr time limit....but t hey let us finish out the challenge. Loved everything about the EEE, and after your room experience there is an adjacent pub to rehydrate afterwards....lol Next time were in ST Pete for another Rays game...were going to try and do one of of the other 2 rooms. Highly recommend the EEE for adults of families read more

Hahaha!! This was fun! Even though I booked the wrong day, the great guys here were very nice and switched my reservation! Our escape from Dracula's Castle was unsuccessful but we had so much fun trying! This was my first time doing an escape room and my wife's second. She thoroughly enjoyed here much more than the other nearby (to be nice I won't mention the name) so if you're looking for something fun to do especially on rainy Florida days, come here and save yourself from doom!! It's worth it!!! read more

the costumer service here was terrible. me and my friends walked in and didn't know you had to book and couldn't just walk in and while i admit that that was our fault there was no need for the owner who i might add had a beer in his hand at the time there was no need for him to mock us for not knowing while also being clearly drunk on the job. read more

Highly recommend. Is so much fun. This escape room seems out of the way from a lot but is so much fun. Very detailed. The staff was nice and personable. read more

Yes this definitely deserves five stars very nice service and are willing to help throughout the whole room has very exiting rooms and very nicely put together some things need to be rewritten or replaced but other than that very nice and fun for the whole family you have to work together to complete certain parts of the room overall incredible service and very exhilarating I also recommend Jacob he was very nice and helped quite a bit giving good and useful clues to not give away the whole room but to help us when we needed it read more

We had never done an escape room before and we could not have chosen a better place! The room we did was smart, innovative and challenging! The owner, Joe, was so helpful and made our time there extra fun! We highly recommend this establishment!!! read more

This is clearly a hidden gem. We escaped from Dracula's Castle. Although, their most difficult room, we nailed it (him). I really enjoy multiple room escape games. Additionally, we enjoyed a brew while playing the game. The venue offers beer and wine and it also has golfing games. This is an amazing find. We can't wait to go back! read more

Showing my cousin around Tampa Bay while they are visiting from Canada and searched for fun stuff to do around the area. The guy was really cool and accommodated us even though we don't have reservation. He explained the room clearly and had the chance to choose between the two room that's available. We decided to do the Pirate room and hands down. This room is very challenging and very cool. A lot of mental thinking and physical action as well. He also asked what way he can help us when we are stuck in a challenge and we decided that we will call if we need help. Location is small building but surprised that they have this wonderful place to experience escape room! Nice associates! And price was not bad very affordable compare to a lot of escape room around Tampa Bay! read more

Me and my family were on vacation and couldn't go to the beach due to the rain. We decided to do an escape room. The girls at the front was very helpful and explained everything real well. Our room had a little malfunction with a lock but other than that the Davinci room was a lot of fun and I would Definetly go back. Great place for some fun! read more

I went here with three kids in tow to do the pirate room. One it was by far the best escape room I've ever done. Also it was the first escape room for the kids (ages 10-12) and they had an absolute blast. It was challenging and a ton of fun. I highly recommend coming here and doing this room especially. I really want to try the Dracula room but maybe with adults, lol. The staff member there, Joe was especially helpful and nice to myself and the kids. He gave us clues and even gave us a minute or two more to get out of the room. I appreciated that cause I wanted the kids to experience getting out and not feel lame. Can't say enough good things. It was a great experience read more

Let me start off by saying this staff is incredible. My family members flew in from a variety of states into Tampa for my grandmother's 80th birthday. We had a hard time finding activities but decided to give Escape Room Extreme a call to see if they could accommodate such a big group at once. We spoke with Brad on the phone and he was extremely helpful. We had tons of questions, specifically about what we could do with three young children under the age of 5 while we were there. We were worried because they had three rooms that could accommodate a maximum of 6 people at a time. We had 18 adults total which meant that we would meet the capacity for each room. Brad assured us that there would be no problem and that we would be able to bring the kids into the rooms with us. We went ahead and booked all three rooms. Once we got there, the staff was super friendly and informative of what to expect from the rooms (a lot of us had not done escape rooms before). We had clear instructions on how to proceed through the rooms and we all drew from a hat and got randomly placed into the three rooms (this was our choice after a staff member gave us the idea). The rooms were thoughtfully constructed and full of surprises. The clues and puzzles were awesome and each room carried on with their appropriate themes. All three of our groups escaped (with some help from the staff of course) and we could not stop talking about how much fun we had at Escape Room Extreme. We would love to come back next time we are in town and we highly recommend this place to others who are looking for a great time. read more
