We were 7 mobsters tasked with stealing four gems from the private "Moonlight Gallery"! What better way to come to Ohio to celebrate two family birthdays than to put our heads together in crime! Seriously, though, what great fun! This was a first time experience in an Escape Room for all of us. (Ages ranging from 28 - 72) Finding all the gems was challenging, but since there were hints available if a majority of the group agreed to request one, I think this room would be great to include a younger family member too. I'm anxious to find an escape room in North Carolina to take my younger (11 & 13) grandkids to. I just hope that I can find one that is as well run as this one. Please don't be too intimidated to try this. You are not ever actually locked in. It's a puzzle that needs a group working together to solve. Give it a try!! PS: Everyone should be aware, that this business is on the second story of an old building, which gives it quite a bit of character, but the staircase is long and there are no elevators. read more

My family and I have done two of their rooms now. Both times we had a great time. The Bootleggers Lair, is the most difficult, and was our first. Although we failed, we were only a few moves away from success, and we were hooked. Today we did the Detective one that was listed as beginner/moderate difficulty. This is definitely the coolest thing to do in Canton. Everyone I know who has gone only has positive things to say about it, and now that I've finally been, I definitely echo them. I took my mom here for her birthday this weekend, along with my boyfriend and teenage brother, who is 17. It was an awesome experience! We did the Moonlight Gallery, in which your mob boss hires you to rob a local art gallery for expensive, hidden jewels. It is their newest addition. We were paired up with another group of 4 people, who had already done the Detective room (we had not), and they said the MG was definitely more challenging. The folks at the Escape Room were very friendly, provided a helpful orientation, and it's clear they put a lot of thought into crafting the puzzle. It was incredibly well-done -- cool premise, the level of detail with the clues and effects was very impressive, and everything flowed together well. I especially loved how the story was based in Canton's history and that they used local art. Overall, they have created an exciting, wonderful adventure. As a Canton native, I am so glad to see stuff like this coming to downtown Canton! At $20/person, it's really pretty affordable given the quality. I would advise that you book about a week in advance, particularly if you have a party of 3+ and/or if you want your choice of time slots. Hopefully, they will continue to expand and/or somehow offer more puzzles for those who want to keep coming back but solve both rooms. Highly recommend! read more

I did The Moonlight Gallery with 7 friends tonight and we had a lot of fun. We escaped in about 35 minutes, but not without a little extra help with clues. It was definitely a challenge-but a good one, for sure. Will definitely go again to try out the other rooms, and they have plans for expansion many times over. read more

After our 45 min scramble, the mob busted in on both our teams. After a few hours of friendly bickering of who got the farthest, it was determined..... We both lost. Lol. There was a lot of puzzles and details around the room to help you escape. We escaped in about 35 minutes with the help of some clues. Eight escape room newbies took on the challenge of the Missing Detective Room on this Sunday afternoon. We had a blast! We escaped with six minutes to spare, after asking for a few clues. It is not too easy or too hard, you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. Everyone contributed in some way. Employees were friendly and helpful. Fun way to share an hour and then get dinner. On Sunday, sadly, none of the downtown restaurants were open, so we had to head to Belden Village. I highly recommend this! read more

Excellent experience with a seemingly endless number of puzzles! We had three couples working together continuously for almost the full hour in the bootlegger's challenge. There were a ton of puzzles that needed completed to win the room, but we ended up pulling it off. We've been quite a few escape room places, but this was definitely the best one. The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible and it definitely took all of us focusing the entire time and working together to pull it off. We did the missing detective room. Although it was rated as an easy room, we still needed some help. We have been to several escape rooms and this was one of the best. The puzzles were logical, and the props fit the era of this room. Looking forward to trying the other rooms. read more

celebrated my daughter's 16th there...the girls are still talking about it: not very easy to get to (scary, steep stairway to 2nd floor) and definitely not handicapped accessible, a little pricey for DC (downtown Canton), but the experience in a place with not much to do the cost is justified...staff (actors) were very nice read more
