This place is exactly what you'd expect. A run down building you break stuff in. You have to book your time slot directly from their website, so go there for the schedule. My fiancé and I booked the Anger package which included a TV and 30 wine bottles to smash for $50. We showed up 15 mins early (like they suggest) and got started right away. I loved every minute of it. MENTAL HEALTH NOTE: I recently weened off my antidepressant and have had some serious mood swings ever since. In short, we found this place bc I told my fiancé I just wanted to break stuff or do something exhilarating to feel alive (because that's how I used to deal with big feelings as a young adult). Coming here allowed me to release some of the rage that's been building up and it let me tap into that feeling of power/strength when you're destructive. Im so glad they created an environment where I could break sh*t without ruining my own stuff or dealing with the aftermath. Bonus: It was so awesome seeing my very emotionally stable and logical fiancé get a taste of how good letting go and being crazy and destructive can feel. I'll be back! read more

Came with three friends here and had a blast!!! The room was smaller than we thought but it was sufficient. We picked the "rage package" and had two old TVs and many bottles of empty liquor bottles. They even gave us an extra box of bottles because we finished everything we had. Wish there were more things to smash such as plates etc because the bottles were getting a little boring as time went on but that's not a big deal. 30 minutes was just the right amount of time for this activity. read more

Reviewing the "rage paint" experience. You are better off buying 2 canvases and $60 worth of paint to splatter paint at home. They give you 2 square canvases, a pack of dollar store brushes, and about 10 colors of paint. Bottles of paint you ask? No. Just squirts of paint on a plastic sheet. For $60. We arrived and the overalls they provided were briefly sprayed with a "sanitizing spray" right after the people in front of us wore the same ones. The worker proclaimed in front of us that he was hungover and told another worker to take care of us. We had to ask them for clean water, as it was not changed from the people before us. The paint "room" is separated by basically just a plywood sheet from the rage room, so be prepared to hear everything going on and wear closed toe shoes because there's glass everywhere. Also you cannot chose your music when there is someone in the rage room. Overall, weird and kinda terrible. read more

Overbooked time slot. Didn't call to let us know until 15 minutes before scheduled time-already on site for check in since you have to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled time. Blamed on 3 party scheduling system. Need better way of scheduling. Im sure they would have seen they were overbooked 15 minutes before scheduled time so we could have rescheduled and not wasted gas to drive there just to be sent home. Don't recommend. read more

I was so happy to find a place like this right in Akron! I'm a mental health counselor and I've been asked so many times about "self care" besides just the usual spa days or exercise. Rage Room is the place to go! The girl working there was very helpful and knowledgeable about the benefits of "raging" for mental health wellness. My best friend and I went on a Saturday, I reserved a time and paid online. We were set up in a room very quickly, we were given all we needed to smash stuff! We played our own music, smashed bottles, dishes, mugs, and a computer monitor: probably around 50 items. It was fantastic! Such a rush and we left there feeling empowered. Tools included bats, a hammer, and crow bars; I do wish they had a sledgehammer, but it was great anyway! We felt very safe, had head to toe protection gear, and we can't wait to go back!
