Checking in was easy and the TSA lines were very manageable. There's only one small lounge though and I believe it serves all the airlines. There are a few restaurants though so more than one option to eat. No big crowds anywhere which was nice.

She was very knowledgeable and helpful, the woman who was there this time, who might I add we didn't see for the first 20 minutes of being in the lobby, seemed lost and not understanding of what was going on or what she was doing. So a round of beers and a very large order of fries was all we ordered. The local IPA was good and fries great - easily shared. Time to board - maybe not. This time an hour delay. Back to the same table for another round of beers and two orders of the cheese fries this time. Fries were good but perhaps too cheesy to share. By yourself or with family it would be fine. Time to board - nope. This time a 1.5 hour delay. Now it's another round and burgers. I abstained hoping I could still have dinner at home with my wife. Burgers looked great and were a hit. Some of the group had dined here before so they knew what to expect. Service was friendly and responsive even with a growing clientele who were becoming more agitated over the delays. We finally board and I made it home for a late dinner with my wife. Goodbye Tulsa. See you and Fat Guy's next month.

Not sure why some of these people are still working there especially since it's the hospitality industry but it seems the management is content with it so they refuse to hire new staff or make changes. As for the Home Team, there are 4-5 people working and the servers/bartenders are usually gossiping or taking their time to come to you for service. Drinks are bad, Food is no good and service is really really bad. No smiles, no eye contact and no human interaction! As for TGIF ....Literally the WORST bartender ever, I believe his name is Dustin or Curtis or something, (older guy with really really bad teeth ! yuk) He ranted about how much he hates working for this company, he makes the most money, better than everyone around him & that he is the best bartender in the world. I've traveled all around the world and I can tell you he is extremely delusional and he is by far the WORST bartender I've ever ever had!! There was a few weeks, that on purpose I brought my own food just to avoid going to either of these places but as soon as they opened the Sam Adams bar in the C wing, I was so excited to see a new face! Unfortunately my first impression of the Sam Adams bartender (Chris) was negative. Poor guy had no clue how to make a Bloody Mary or even how to pour a proper draft beer. He seems out of place at the bar and he has zero passion to be a bartender. He said it was just a "gig" for him and that if it wasn't for the money, he would rather do something else. Almost forgot his mom is the supervisor so makes sense why he is there. He told me he was just hired without any experience at the bar, he used to throw out the trash for the airport..Go Figure ! Not sure why a company like HMS allows inexperienced bartenders to work at an international airport with hundreds of people traveling, but again I guess it's because the majority of people that work for the company are all buddies. So I stopped going to the Sam Adams bar until I walked by there last Friday and saw a new face. She greeted me promptly and served me within minutes. She made me an amazing Bloody Mary and she was very attentive. The bar was busy but she worked her space like a professional!! She had great conversation and she was well informed with Tulsa. It was such a delight spending time with her and I highly recommend this bar (when she's working). I travel twice a week to Tulsa and having a great bartender makes my trip less stressful. I believe she only works on Friday and Sunday. Would be great if she would work other days and even at the Home Team, they really need the help ! Everyone that I know that has been to the other bar would never go again. This company needs more bartenders like (Marisa) !!! I created this account just so that I can share my experience. Cheers !
