We celebrated a couple birthdays at Escapade 360. We had a blast! Our group had seven people in it, and we did the Sherlock Holmes room. The rooms were big enough for all of us. We did have a couple times when people had to sit so we could stay in order and stay organized, but space wise, there was plenty of room. Our group asked for a couple hints, and Dan was great about keeping us on track. He loves his job, and that was evident through our whole experience. I believe he and his wife care about the customer first, and are proud to be in Elgin and grow their business. They will include signage to celebrate your occasion if you note that in your order. Also, they have a partnership with Elgin Public House, so if you eat or hang there, you can get a discount code for your night as well. I like to see local businesses helping each other. All and all, do it! Whether or not you have done an escape room before, Escapade 360 is the right place for you. It's super fun, challenging but not impossible and a really great hour spent. read more

The staff has always offered top notch customer service and works hard to ensure visitors have a great experience every time. They're there to make our special occasions even more special. In my case, they helped me arrange a surprise proposal to my fiance. We did the daVinci room on Saturday and had a great time. We purchased a Groupon for 6 people for $99, making it only $16.50/person. Great deal! [You gotta love the super tall, wobbly, winding staircase when you enter the building....and ironically across the room you'll see a sign for funeral services. I opted to use the elevator instead... better not tempt fate.] :-P The guy who greeted us and gave us instructions was a hoot. I wonder if he's the owner because he seemed to really love his job. Some of the puzzles in this room were super inventive and clever. You can tell the creator is a smarty. (It blows my mind how they come up with these rooms.) One of the puzzles made a loud noise, which caused all the ladies in our group, me included, to scream and jump out of our skin! It added to the fun of the night. We escaped with 25 minutes to spare. We did hear it was the easiest room though, so we may be back for the hardest one! (Candy Factory, I believe??) The room instructor was shocked that by dumb luck we bypassed one of the clues. He made sure to explain how it really should have been. I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

We had an amazing time at this escape room and I can't wait to come back! The Sherlock Holmes room was great- very challenging- it took us nearly the entire time to get out and we are veteran escape room-ers. We had the full 8 people in the room, and I felt like it had plenty of space and plenty of puzzles for people to be working on different things. The hints given if you asked for them were helpful without giving things away. I will definitely be back to try the DaVinci room (for a smaller group) and I am really looking forward to the new room they are working on too! We tackled the Sherlock Holmes mystery. Had a great time with our Team, it was a work outing. We won, with help from the clues, but still won. We all worked together, some things were more challenging than others. Only one of us had ever been to an escape room before, so 6 of us didn't know what to expect. They all thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my 5th room this year. And after I did it, I also played my 6th room here! I loved both of them! This kind of rooms is what I like. Sherlock was beautiful inside and all puzzles were build into the room very naturally. Da Vinci is my favorite! We escaped! These rooms are for those who like to do less math and more logical tasks. So much fun!!! We went as a family of 5 plus a friend and we did the Candy room. It is a newer room and the puzzles/clues were a little tricky (we are all beginner level) but so fun - especially since we received a little help to keep moving. =) We didn't solve the game in time but it was so cool to see what we had missed afterwards. Staff here is great, very personable and friendly. There were a good amount of searching clues and puzzle clues to keep our group active...but I do think that if there were more than the four of us in the da Vinci room I would have felt crowded. all in all a good experience and would come back if they had another room! read more

I've done a few escape rooms and this one was such a quality one! I loved the airport/travel theme (even had sounds of the airport at the check-in and seats that look like they belong in an airport). The staff was incredibly personable, helpful and friendly. We did the Sherlock Holmes room and it was truly a lovely set up. It was all done just so nicely, I can't recommend it enough. Although we didn't make it out :-(, we had a great time and would certainly return!!! If you're looking for an escape room to try, check out Escapade 360. You truly won't regret it. The room was so much fun! I went as a group of 6. Upon arriving the owner gave us the rules for the place and took us to our room "Sherlocks Adventure". It was me and my boyfriend's first time at an escape room. We went with 2 other friends for a fun double date night and did their new candy factory room.. SO MUCH FUN but warning! It's very challenging. We really enjoyed ourselves. Dan and his wife (I'm sorry I wish I caught your name!) really are passionate about the experience they bring to the table. One thing we really enjoyed was, in the event you DON'T escape, they will walk you through the puzzles you didn't finish if you choose. If not, dare to try again another time! They are so friendly and accommodating. We had such a fun time, in fact, that we decided to do their Da Vinci room after. We couldn't get enough. Such a fun night! Tried to use Groupon to enjoy Escapade 360 but when I spoke to the employee on the phone they informed me that the Groupon only applied to very specific rooms and the details were "in the fine print". Very shady practices. The employee put no effort into resolving the issue. I'm left having spent $40 for nothing, Escapade very unhelpful. Not recommended. read more

This was the first time I ever visited an escape room and let me say that I can't wait to go back! This was so much fun. Everything was so clever and well put together. There was something for every person in our group. The hostess ( I wish I could remember her name) was so kind and explained everything we needed to know. This is the third room that we have tried at Escapade 360. The attention to detail is remarkable. We loved all three rooms especially The Candy Factory. If we only had a few more minutes we might have solved it. If I was a newby to Escapade 360, I would start with the Sherlock Holmes room or Divinci. All three rooms are faboulous. read more

Just did a team building event and escaped the DaVinci room. As a newbie the staff put us all at ease, if we got stuck we may have used a couple of clues...It was very clean, and accessible since parking is nearby. It was a great time and I would recommend for others to try! read more

My husband and I went to Escapade 360 last night and did the Da Vinci room escape. We loved it, and are still talking about the specifics of it the next day! Owner Dan gave us clues, but only when we were floundering, and those clues really did come in handy. We thought it was well-designed and extremely cleverly planned, and would recommend the experience at Escapade to anyone. It promotes teamwork and divergent thinking ---which are always powerful things! If you want to try something different and unique for a night out in the Fox Valley, try Escapade 360.
