I wish I would have read these reviews prior to calling for a replacement backboard for our goal. Ryan was rude, did not want to place my order, and told me I was not making a cost-effective decision. He referred me to Dick's to purchase a whole new basketball goal for $80 instead of just taking my order for the backboard as I requested. I received a dartboard and cabinet kit set at Christmas and just now opened the box to hang it in my just-finished basement remodel and found 10-12 parts missing to make this setup actually work. ES would not send me the parts because it was out of warranty. I appreciate the apology for my inconvenience from the customer service dept, but my inconvenience is that I will not be able to use my purchased item because Escalade Sport failed to include all the parts I paid for. I bought an Atomic Air Hockey Table which is made by Escalade Sports. What a waste of money. It broke within 2 days of owning it and now, 9 days later, it's unusable. I tried contacting Escalde and they basically said "it broke because my kids hit the puck too hard". I guess they never played air hockey before. Now I have to box it up and drive it back to the store I bought it from since Escalade wouldn't send a replacement part. Just out of warrant 90 day bearing fell apart on apron which guess what it is not replaceable the company does not sell replacement bearings for this unit you have to buy the apron panel which cost over $72 Dollars plus shipping from china. Because of the sidewall thickness and size you can't find the bearing online. And you have to disassemble half of the table and rods to replace the apron Table is 3 months old used 12 times maybe. I purchased an air hockey table from a reseller two weeks before Christmas. I started assembling the table only to find out that two legs were missing. I'm not certain if it was a packaging error or someone decided to return the table and didn't repack the legs. Long story short, I called Escalade four days ago per their instruction manual. The representative I spoke with said they would send me replacement legs at no cost but due to short timeline from then until Christmas, they probably wouldn't ship in time. He said he would do everything he could to try though. If you are wondering why I'm writing this review on Christmas morning instead of playing with my children, it is because I received the legs yesterday, Christmas Eve. I'm not sure any person in that company cares about whether or not customers got what they ordered. I ordered a ping pong table 11 MONTHS AGO which came without parts. It was expensive and touted excellent customer service so I called to have parts sent. 11 months later, they are still on backorder but no one bothered to let me know. No one has offered a replacement table until I became upset and now I got an email stating that there's a delay. What is going on with this company and doesn't anyone have pride in what they do. Purchase a Pro Table Tennis table from Escaladesports. Pieces were missing. I contacted the company for the missing parts. It has been over a month and I still have not received the missing parts required to assemble the table. I asked if they could take the missing parts from an unsold unit so i could assemble the table and then return the parts to the unsold table when they eventually come. The company refused. I have to say that Escalade Sports has TERRIBLE Customer Service. I ordered a shuffleboard table on December 18th through Wayfair. It did arrive as scheduled and the Wayfair guys were great. My boys and I began to assemble the table and things were going great. That is until one of the legs did not have a screw grommet secured correctly. I contacted Escalade Sports and they told me that the 1 leg section that is only 2' long would be on back order until March. Yes, I have a partially assembled 10' shuffleboard table laying on the floor of my game room and they want me to wait 2-3 months for a replacement part for the Defective part they sent me. Only answer I received was, you can wait or you can call Wayfair for a return. No one has a can-do attitude to try and help people anymore. I now see all the bad reviews this company has are true. Just send me the $20 leg that will take 15 minutes to make and help your customer out. read more

I recently made a purchase through AAFES.com for an in ground basketball goal on 5 July 20. I assumed that it would take approximately 2 weeks to receive the item even if it was shipping across the country, because it did say the goal was in stock. I contacted a contractor to pour a concrete slab for start of 2 weeks out and paid half up front. Well, here it is 9 August 20, and it still has not arrived. I contacted AAFES after 2 weeks when I did not receive a tracking number and they said it was sent over to Escalade sports on 6 July to fulfill the order. After trying several times, I got ahold of someone at Escalade (very friendly, the reason for 2 stars). She said it would ship the following day (21 July). Fast forward and now, I finally got tracking info and contacted the shipping company and the CEO got back to me and stated that they didn't receive the goal from Escalade until 24 July and they estimate a delivery of 13-17 August. I couldn't make this crap up. Totally unbelievable that it takes a month and a half to receive a basketball goal. If I had to do over again, I would definitely have went with Big 5 or Dicks. read more

We bought the ping pong table and believe me: it was total crap. Save a major head ache and do not buy this equipment from Escalade Sports. The table top is made of particle board that is very heavy. Worse yet, this heavy table top is secured to the support legs by tiny 5/8" wood screws that are put into particle board. The instructions provided are terrible as they are illegible and apparently written by the same company that writes instructions on how to assemble the space shuttle. After 5 hours of frustration the table broke apart irreparably. Now we must drag this massively heavy pile of crap to UPS to send it back. read more

We contacted Wood Play Warranty through Escalade Sports in Mid May by emails to Chris G and got our first response on June 10th. This is not a matter of urgency yet maybe before summer is over. I can handle sitting on the phone waiting to get a Rep for over 90 mins and waiting getting a reply to an email but I cannot handle Katie sighing loudly in my ear several times while on the phone as if I am a bother. I ask about the email turnover time and in a rude voice she tells me they have 1400 emails and only 2 people answering those emails as if I should not have called that day because they were overworked. I have spoken to them numerous times and told a different story each time. Today, I spoke to David and told one thing and then I call back to speak to someone else. After being told the same story I ask Katie to look further and then like magic, she just needed my credit card to take care of shipping and it would be on its way. For the first time during all of this, I finally had to speak up. At the end of the conversation, I ask for an email stating what was to be ordered and the cost and I would call back with credit card. The email came within an hour and it did not show the number of boards being ordered so that it would not be an issue in the future. I then get 3 different emails with 3 different ticket numbers asking me for the same information on the original claim. I tried to call back and let them know about the additional emails so that I don't have many more tickets open and cause more confusion. After 18 mins, I decided to hang up and call tomorrow. Every call has been documented in details This has been an unbelievable issue and in the future I encourage anyone experiencing the same issues to not give up and report the issues. I purchased a Pickleball Now Classic Lite Paddle for my wife from Hibbetts in Canton Georgia. My wife only used the paddle a limited number of times since it was purchased in March 2016. The paddle was in the amount of $69.99 plus tax. While in use the paddle broke and the honeycomb came loose from the inside of the paddle. Yes the paddle was only warrantied for one year however this is a FYI o what Pickleball Paddle NOT TO BUY. When I contacted Escalade Sports I was told " Thank you for your email. Our paddles are warrantied for one year after the purchase date. The Pickleball Now brand was discontinued almost 2 years ago and is no longer manufactured. Thank you Pickleball Customer Service - Sports Division... So in other words they sold Hibbetts Sports, Paddles that were discontinued.. that in itself tells me volumes as Hibbetts contacted me when they received the so called "new paddles" . We purchased a expensive (over $2,000) outdoor Goalrilla Basketball from them via a local vendor, Steepleton in Lexington, KY due to perceived quality along with the service. It also had a lifetime guarantee for replacement. Approx 1-1.5 yr after install the backboard started to crack and then completely shattered. We contacted Steepleton and were told basically not their issue and to contact the manufacturer (Escalade). So we did and have been getting the run around for over 6 months, yes 6 months, and still not replaced and no timeline when it would be. Excuses we have received include the following beauties: COVID, parts not here (although they could simply take the backboard off a new one and send), no one in warehouse today, forklift operator quit, and have been told for past 4 weeks it is shipping this week to only find out they have not shipped.
