The store associates were polite and helpful. The shooting range has two rooms with a safety observer in each room. There is a display with timers for each lane to track when your range time is up. There are discounts for members, which makes sense for locals. We rented lanes by the hour and they do have lanes for rifles. Guns are also available for rent along with safety equipment and targets. Gun rentals do require using ammunition purchased from Range USA. They recommend, and I agree, washing hands afterwards. They did not have soap to clean lead off the skin, which is something most other ranges carry and something I strongly recommend they carry.

I drove from Evansville to Boonville to check out this place when I was in the market for another…read moregun. I called earlier in the day and they had a model that I was interested in so I thought I'd check it out. I got there and the place didn't seem all that busy, but I still had to stand around for about 15-20 minutes waiting for service before someone finally decided to help me. Another guy waiting before me gave up and left the store, so that helped shorten my wait a little! After talking to friends about this place, this seems to be quite common. Once I was finally helped the salesperson showed me two guns. Both guns were sold as new, but both had scuff marks on the sights. The sticker price was a bit high so I asked the salesperson what their best price was if I bought the gun now with cash. I thought he'd be willing to knock a little off since they were pricing theirs more than several competitors. The guy talked down to me explaining that their price already includes a discount and he couldn't afford to go any cheaper. To justify this he shows me a bogus MSRP and acts like he's giving me a good discount! At that point I thanked him and left the store without making a purchase. I got home and checked the manufacturer's website because I thought he was being phony. Sure enough, they did not discount the gun from the manufacturer's MSRP as I was told. He was actually selling it for $24 higher than the MSRP! Some disount that was! I had already seen the same gun in stock at Rajos in Evansville for $160 less. I ended up going there and they were able to show me several additional models. I made my purchase there. The next time I'm in the market for a gun I MIGHT try this place once more, but they need to be real to their customers and give them a fair price and good service.
