After I bought my chevy, it broke down and had to be towed because the starter broke. My grandmother was with me and she was not fit to sit in the hot sun and wait for a tow truck to pick us up. Luckily, he gave us a ride home and made sure we got inside safely. Then the wipers stopped working, so I had to replace that. Then the brakes started to mess up, so I had to replace those, now there's white smoke coming from the AC, so I have to keep my ac off now and I took it to the dealership and they're saying that I need a new valve cover gasket and that it's leaking oil and probably needs new spark plugs too. Every time I get it back from the mechanic, there's another problem. These guys sell lemons and it's not worth buying from them. read more

I bought a 2009 Chevy Traverse. After a week there was the airbag light coming on and off, check engine light coming on and off, tire light came on and stayed even though the pressures were all fine. I emailed them BEFORE I went over the 3000 mile warranty.... No answer, go figure. Now my car is stuttering while I'm driving like it doesn't want to go. I have a 3-year-old and 5-month-old that I have to put in this car with the fear that my car is going to breakdown or catch fire (pretty sure there's an electrical problem). NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. $8000+ vehicle that isn't worth a darn. read more

Everyone that knows me knows that I never post on Yelp, so you know it is bad when I feel compelled to give a warning to those looking to buy a used car from ES Motors in Dagsboro, DE. They sold me a car that did not pass Maryland State Inspection and needs thousands of dollars in repair. They were unwilling to work with me on the cost of the repairs and would not buy the car back and basically told me tough luck. I caution all Delaware drivers that purchased a car from them that it may be unsafe to drive your car just a few miles away in Maryland by their standards. Typical buy now pay here dealership. I purchased a bmw from this place and 4 days later the struts broke apart. I even had it MD inspected thru the dealer using their "own" inspector, before purchasing the car. I guess the MD inspector missed a completely worn down strut. They also left a pair of vice grips on my Left rear strut that was supposedly the repair to the leak that they said they fixed in the MD inspection. Of course they have no warranty on vehicles but only service contracts with their "own" personal mechanic located right next door. I would've tried to use the service contract to get the struts fixed but I felt so disrespected that I decided to never deal with them again and write this review instead. read more

DO NOT BUT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I were shopping for a car for our 17 year old daughter. We visited the place twice, talked to the owner and the sales rep Chad, found one we liked and negotiated a price with Chad and the owner on 10/27. We told Chad we would be in at 6:30 on 10/29 to purchase the car since my husband was out of town on business. He agreed. On 10/29, my husband called at 4:30 p.m. to ensure the car ready to go. Yep! No problem! Taking it out back to wash it! We arrive at 6:30 only to find he sold the car at 5:00 p.m. Any business owner that would make an agreement and not honor it is not trustworthy. My daughter is heartbroken. Stay far away!! read more
