He kept telling me how nice it looked, and how he thought it wasn't very dirty. He was in and out of the house very quickly, and we had two sets of stairs, and several rooms to clean. The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

We went in to service our stick vacuum that was perfect for our home in Florida that only had LVT. However, here in Kansas our new home has more carpet than hardwood floors. Sarah, informed us all that was wrong with our Dyson and why it was time to upgrade to a "real" vacuum since our home was mostly carpet. We had our minds set on the Sebo D4 until I happen to inquire about the huge canisters that were up on her wall. She explained to us that it was a central vacuum system. Say what...never heard of such a thing living in Florida. We decided to go with the central vacuum system that was less costly than what we were expecting. Sure, double the cost of the Sebo we had in mind but much cooler, convenient, and quiet. Sarah was not pushy with trying to sell us her products. Instead, she provided us with the information we needed to make an informed decision and she allowed us the time to do so. Erv's Vacuum's provides a service that is above what we expected. Jimmy our installer for the central vacuum system arrived on time to install our unit. He asked to have space in our garage and drive way that would allow him to work efficiently and we obliged. He worked independently throughout the day and once the job was completed, he went over the system and parts with us to ensure our next vacuuming experience would be successful and I will say pleasurable. I'm giving this place the full 5 star rating because of a number of things... First of all, I've been coming to Erv's for several years whenever my Dyson needed fixing. After 5 years of hard work (we have a 135lb long haired dog) the Dyson finally died. I was looking at buying a replacement Dyson, but the "Animal" was over $600, sheesh! But, I had such good luck with it over the years, I was going to bite the bullet and shell out the dough. Before I went shopping at one of the larger discount stores, I thought I'd come into Erv's and see what they had to say. I spoke to Chuck the owner and he had a good opinion of the Dyson, but asked me to consider what he thought was the best Vac for the money, a German made Miele. He demo'd the "Salsa" model he had on-hand. The darn thing worked really good! And it was over $100 less than the Dyson. He let me take it home to try in my own house and I have to say, it did a better job than the Dyson and was MUCH quieter. So, for all the extra friendly and personal service plus really good advice and saving me money - Chuck! You Da Man! Thank you sir! Check these guys out before you go to a department store to by a vacuum, you'll learn a lot and come away with a well informed decision. read more

We put a central vacuum system in our new house recently and are very satisfied with the materials and equipment we purchased from them. Sarah and Jimmy were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and really helped us make this a successful installation. They made the experience fun and satisfying. Owner was incredibly helpful. Although they were not open, the owner saw me walking up with a vacuum that needed repair, so offered to help me anyway. She found the part and replaced it on the spot and. Although she didn't know it, I had driven a long way to get to them, so her being so accommodating was beyond my expectations. I was told the plastic on the Dyson vacuum was cracked which was affecting the electronics for the vacuum. The 30ish year-old guy in the place told me Dyson's are not repairable, so I needed to buy a new vacuum. He suggested I buy one of the high dollars Riccar that he sales. Thinking the guy was BSing me, and me being somewhat electronically educated, I brought the vacuum home and took it apart. I discovered the problem was the cord was broken where it entered the side of the vacuum. I cut off about 8" of the cord, reconnected everything, put the vacuum back together, and it works as good as new now. I do not recommend this place!
