We have the best healthcare in the USA right here in Iowa City, and at our age, this is the highest priority. We especially appreciate the blood drawing staff at the IRL Laboratory. They are the best anywhere in the UIHC system. We appreciate the main hospital staff who are willing to come to the clinics of IRL. A huge thank you to the entire IRL staff.

I can't even describe as a parent how nice it is to have amazing healthcare available to my kids…read more Not everyone in the state of Iowa can say the same. Not only that, but to live minutes away from this location is a Godsend-- as I do NOT have to go to the main hospital for them to get the care they need. (Eek, I get the heebie-jeebies just thinking about navigating the parking and elevators.) Additionally, there is free parking at the IRL location. The staff is friendly here. The doctors are top notch. The building itself is well maintained and updated. I love the art throughout, as well. Absolutely no complaints. The fam popped in for flu shots and COVID boosters a few weeks ago (which I conveniently booked online via My Chart) and we got in with a minimal wait. The nurse was wonderful. Going to the doctor isn't always painless-- but this location helps make it more so.

We moved 100 miles away from her office 11 years ago and I still drive the 100 miles to see her as my health care provider. I'll never regret the drive. They have HUMANS that answer their calls, they KNOW me and remember me. They have office staff that has been there for years! They RETURN a call if need be, they refill prescriptions with ease and NO confusion to the pharmacy attached to their office in very quick fashion at the Amana pharmacy, which is another hidden GEM in the healthcare environment. I can get in possibly the day I call but if not the actual day, most likely the next day. This office is VERY BUSY but they care for their patients who need to be seen. Sara takes the time to know her patients and you never feel rushed. She is so intelligent, informed and compassionate. You'll never find a more CARING medical professional than Sara Schneiders or an office staff that cares as much as Amana Family Clinic. They truly are phenomenal!

I mailed a four pound package of popcorn to my father in southern California. He received a ten…read morepound box of baby clothes. Neither the North Liberty or the CA post office want to do anything concerning the theft that occurred. I am out sixty dollars but I have learned my lesson. Do not mail anything via USPS because they do not care if your items are stolen or never arrive and they do nothing to fix the situation. I was given the runaround and told to call the corporate headquarters and then told to call the local post office to no avail. The local post office said because a package was delivered on time, there's nothing that they can do about it. So unless you purchase their ridiculous insurance (as though I am supposed to somehow account or be responsible for the screw ups made by the post office), the package you send could in theory be opened, replaced and even though there is absolute conclusive evidence that shows that the package was tampered with, "there's nothing we can do about it," is the response you will get. Corporate told me that "they'd look into it." That's another way of saying don't call us anymore until we call you, if we call you at all. Popcorn doesn't grow heavier with time. I understand that you don't need a PhD to work at the post office but seriously, I ship out a 4 pound box, and the receiver receives a 10 pound box (he was there immediately to receive the package); let's see 10 pounds minus 4 pounds, after the intense algebraic formula calculation; it can be gathered that there is a 6 pound difference that happened between North Liberty and CA. I didn't get as much as an apology for my package being tampered with and stolen. Show some accountability or just be honest and warn your customers that their packages run the very probable risk that they will be tampered with and stolen, and that insurance in highly recommended.
