My review is about two years out of date, but this is the first time I looked at the reviews of Errund, and I'm going to reinforce them: don't try this company. I had an appointment scheduled, I stayed home to meet them and let them in, and no-one ever showed up. When I called to find out what was going on they argued with me and claimed that a person had been out and knocked on the doors and rang the bell. That's false. I imagine they're probably out of business by now, but if not, I suggest you help them down that path by hiring someone else for your house cleaning needs. read more

Let me preface this review by stating that is is pretty rare for me to leave a one star review. I believe in the benefit of the doubt, but in this case I am so incredibly appalled by the entire experience that I believe it is warranted. Despite my initial hesitation due to low Yelp rating, I booked this service as a Mother's Day present to myself due to the fair price and quick quote response from the manager. I really wish I had had listened to my gut and stayed away. The cleaner called me the day of the cleaning to let me know she had just finished her morning assignment and would be five to ten minutes late, which was not a problem with me. She ended up showing up and HOUR late, with no additional communication. She spent two hours cleaning my bathroom with the door closed the entire time, which I though was very odd... considering my bathroom wasn't THAT dirty to begin with, but I let it go and continued do other things around the house and stayed out of her way. After she left, I discovered that she hadn't checked the oven before putting it on self-clean. I had two pizza stones and three of my well-loved, well seasoned pans stored in the oven. My once beautiful pans are now completely stripped, and for anyone who knows anything about cast iron cookware, it is a lengthy process to fix. She apparently took the items out of the oven while hot, and instead of setting them on the oven, she set them on my butcher block island top, leaving a pizza stone shaped singe mark. I had my place cleaned on a Friday, contacted Jake the manager, who said he'd confirm with the cleaner and get back to me the next day. Saturday comes, and crickets. Tuesday rolls around, and I finally reach back out to see what was up. He gives me the runaround and asks for before pictures of my island. Who has pictures of their island tops?? I sure don't. He offers me one hour in free cleaning to compensate for damages. I explain how insulting this is, and explain the dollar costs associated to repair the problems, along with the lengthy processes. I likely underestimated the costs and asked for less than $100... enough for me to buy the oil to attempt to repair the pans, and to purchase an affordable piece of butcher block that I would then need to sand and stain. He asks me why my pans were stored in the oven, and honestly, I didn't think this was that out of the ordinary. Storage is limited and every woman on both sides of my family has always done this. He asks me to give him one more day to confirm with the cleaner. I reluctantly agree. Well, that would have been Wednesday and today is Friday and I've had no response, and at this point, I'm assuming I won't. In addition to the damages, I wasn't super impressed with the thoroughness of the cleaning. Do yourself a favor and don't get lured in by the attractive price. I had scheduled a cleaning on a Wednesday for a Friday afternoon event. The morning of the cleaning I was texted by the cleaner saying she would be 6 hours late!!! The company had possibly double booked her? I understand them notifying me when I booked that they did not have anyone available but to send me a CONFIRMATION (stating my time and location), but they did not and instead had the cleaner text me the morning of. That's insane and bad business practice.. I was counting on this and it really ruined my plans and day. Bad bad business practice. read more

RUN AWAY! I'd give negative stars if I could at this point. Errund has held $142.50 of my money hostage for 31 days now and though they have admitted TWICE that I do deserve a refund, they will give no ETA of when that might actually happen. I wasn't even supposed to be charged in the first place (my cleaner cancelled twice). Then when I told them I was, they said the charges would be reversed. When I realized they weren't, I emailed their customer service. I didn't realize it was going to be this freaking difficult. I have been going back and forth via email and then phone since March 14th. It is now April 4th and I don't know what I have to do to finally get MY money back. I'm a girl with medical issues who needed some help around the house - I'm not some rich person with money to throw around. I've contacted the BBB online as well as our local BBB branch. ZERO stars. The worst experience with a service I've ever encountered. Came late, didn't clean anything, and when I a arranged re-do based on their "satisfaction guarantee" the person didn't show up at all. They're rude, inept, and just couldn't even clean two fully empty rooms within 3 hrs. read more

Very dissapointed with Rob and the entire operation. I scheduled a cleaning for Wednesday night on a MOnday morning. It was confirmed so I was very excited. Wednesday I emailed to confirm the time and cleaner. I get a confirmation right away. At 4, I email to let the cleaner know how to get into my apartment building. I get a phone call that the cleaner cannot make it because she is having car trouble. I reschedule for Thursday morning at 8:30 and Rob confirms and offers a 50% discount. Great, thank you. Thursday morning 8:30, 8:40, 8:50 no cleaner. I call and Rob cannot reach the cleaner. He says he will get a hold of the cleaner and let me know when she will be there. I wait and wait. Around 1pm I get a message from Rob, the cleaner will be there at 2:30. Fine, I am getting worried as I have people arriving promptly at 5PM Thursday night. 2:30, 2:45, no cleaner. I call Rob, he informs me the cleaner left at 2:15PM and now he cannot get a hold of her. This is the last straw. Rob offers to come to my apartment and clean. He calls at 3:30PM and has just arrived. I confirm this cleaning will be free as he is not a professional cleaner which I paid for and he will be cleaning for just over an hour and I paid for 2.5 hours. He confirms it will be free. I get home and am disappointed in the quality and spend 30 mins cleaning spots that were not touched. I email, text, and call Rob confirming the cleaning will be free and he no longer answers/ reponds. It has been 3 days and I have not received any response or refund for the money I was charged. I was also charged extra because I wanted the cleaner to use their own supplies. Since Rob cleaned, he used all my supplies. Again, never refunded any of this change either. I will NEVER use this company again and will discourage all others. read more

This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I booked a recurring service a week ago. The website said I should get assigned someone and would get confirmation 48 hours prior. I should have known there would be issues when I didn't get confirmation. Today, they did not show up at the time they were supposed to. I checked the website and still didn't have anyone assigned. I called and left a voicemail. Someone immediately texted me back from the same number I called. They said that someone had called in sick. This seemed like a cover to me because clearly they had not assigned someone yet. They ended up finding someone. She clearly brought a friend with her and not someone who normally cleans houses so I inquired about this. They asked that I "please let her clean" and to check her review. She had 1 review five start review but no text to accompany it. And there was no information regarding the person who accompanied her. I was simply letting them know about this and the person I was texting accused me of discrimination. The woman ended up doing a nice job, but I would NEVER use Errund again and would warn anyone against using it. read more

I had an awful experience with this company. In short, I was charged for a service I never received, was questioned by the company and sent pictures of the WRONG apartment, and after two weeks, received a full refund. I booked the cleaner to arrive on a Friday evening, as their online booking stated they had availability then. My cleaner never arrived and I ended up cleaning the whole apartment I moved out of. After the weekend, I saw that I was charged for the cleaning service. I texted Jake, who said that the cleaner did clean my apartment. After a bit of back and forth, and "confirming" with the cleaner, I was sent pictures of an apartment that was not mine. I let Jake know that the apartment was not mine and asked for a full refund. He said they had to investigate. After checking in over the next two weeks, and talking to my bank about making a stop payment, I was finally refunded the charge. read more

I have not had a good experience with this company. Jake, the supervisor is incredibly unprofessional! My cleaners were late. That brought with them a vacuum and window cleaner, otherwise had to use my cleaning supplies. Called Jake, tells me he is going to give me $25 off for the supplies used. Never did! Plus the cleaners food a mediocre job! The house was empty on to of it because we moved out! Save yourself time and don't use this service! You will thank me later!! read more
