If I had stayed in Miami, they would've been my go-to dentist for my cleanings and checkups throughout the year. I recently visited a SmileGeneration office in my current town, Dentists of Port Charlotte, I was initially excited because I was hoping for similar service from a product of the same company. Unfortunately, they did not even come close to meeting any level of quality. I miss South Kendall Dentistry. I highly recommend that office to anyone in the Kendall area of Miami. Simple cleaning every six months until the 5th time for additional work I needed and that's when I had enough. I'm ok with Dr. Larry Vinuela, but I can not say the same about the receptionists/Clerical office. Their friendliness are not as genuine as they seem to be. When you confront them with accuracy of information that you are entitled to, they show a different side of them that is not pleasing nor a welcoming one. So, beware and watch out for hidden charges by the clerical staff. The struggles of having to deal with the office is not worth it. I have no piece of mind. I was taken back about 8 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and the dental assistant completed all of the X-rays required for my dental cleaning. After the X-rays were finished, I was informed that no one could actually see me because the dental hygienist was unable to come to work that day. What is most frustrating is that the office apparently knew about this ahead of time, yet no one called me to cancel or reschedule my appointment before I arrived. As a result, I wasted my time driving to the office, completing the registration process, and undergoing X-rays, only to be told that my appointment could not be completed. This showed a lack of organization and respect for patients' time. I hope the office improves its communication and scheduling process so that other patients do not have the same experience.

They charged $300 for X‑rays and added $170 for flossing half of my husband's teeth -- nothing more. Having been treated by world‑class dentists, including Dr. Lindsay Pankey Sr. & Jr., I know what ethical, skilled dentistry looks like. Towncare Dental Pinecrest is the opposite. Their priorities are financial, not clinical, and certainly not patient‑centered. I reported the incident to my insurance, though I doubt anything will change; the system protects revenue, not patients. If the ADA truly monitors practices like this, they should intervene. Dental cleaning and true dental care should be separate disciplines -- just as a pedicure is not the same as seeing a podiatrist.

A competent office staff will check coverage before they service you. I guess they don't care because they will just bill you and add service fees. Dr. Beddall spent many years building up a good reputation and good reviews, but HE HAS NOT WORKED THERE IN YEARS. He is still listed on their website! Very dishonest.
