The waitress ushered me over to a table by the window, and promptly brought me tea. She was so nice! I stayed for a meal, and had the BLT. It was good, and certainly satisfied the need. (Probably a 3- or 4-star meal, but I bumped the review to 5 given how accommodating and friendly the staff was. Read on.) After the sandwich, I was onto my 2nd cup of tea, and wanted a pastry to go with it. They have a good selection. The waitress ushered me over to take a look at their pastries at the counter. (Almost had a tapas feel to it, except it was a countertop full of pastries.) I wanted something with fruit in it, and she described some of the pastries they had, but thought I might find them too sweet, and suggested that I might be happier with a blueberry muffin instead. I don't know how she could possibly have known what I would like or wouldn't like, but the muffin ended up being an excellent choice for me (and went well with the tea to boot!). Note: when I was there, no one in the place spoke English. The asparagus was very tasty indeed, as was the shrimp - but there is a limit to how much I can eat, and I just couldn't finish it all! It was DELICIOUS and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again, but would prefer to share with someone.
