I notice she has a sub specialty in pedantic ENT but does see adults as well? Looks like a few reviews were from adult pts.

At my sons appointment I asked her if she would see adults as well and she said no.

So, I guess these are the kind of exciting, chock-a-block-filled-with-action-and-debauchery reviews…read moreI'm going to be writing now that I'm mothering a newborn? So be it. We were referred to Dr. Wesman for a tongue-tie consultation at the recommendation of Georgeanne Walker, the awesome lactation consultant for Primary Pediatrics Group (really, she's fabulous). His staff at the Oakland Children's Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center (a very cool building in itself) was super friendly on the phone, and was able to accommodate us the same day - which is huge when your 8-day old infant is having a difficult time latching onto your boob to get his meals 10+ times a day. Dr. Wesman himself was nothing but cordial and professional - the man has clipped thousands of infant tongue-frenulums, so his skills in that department never came into question. He made a quick assessment of Sir Poops-A-Lot's tongue, gave us an honest opinion about the efficacy of the procedure, and allowed us to decide if we wanted to go ahead and see if the clipping would make things easier for Miles (Sir Poops-A-Lot) in the eating department. Dr. Wesman even asked if "mom" (holy shit, that's me - I have to get used to being called that) wanted to leave the room during the procedure. I did. And I still cried anyway. But guess what? Sir Poops-A-Lot eats like a champ now. This kid could be the next competitive eating machine. Watch your back, Joey Chestnut.

Dr. Wesman evaluated my daughter also for fluid in one ear which was resulting in hearing loss. But…read morehe recommended that we wait 3- 4 months as he felt it was the aftermath of a really bad sinus infection of a few months earlier and it would take care of itself. Another doctor had already recommended eartubes and I went to Dr. Wesman for a 2nd opinion. He was correct, when we went for a followup 3 months later the problem had cleared and no tubes were necessary. His style is a bit clinical but if you don't need warm fuzzy, he is very competent and experienced.

I've been suffering with Sinus issues for years now with no real relief. Once I knew I needed…read moresurgery I wanted the most competent Doctor. Dr Lewis was highly recommended by my pulmonary doctor and that in itself says a lot. When I saw Dr Lewis he was very thorough with my exam and getting all my history. There was a set back due to my own health issues, and he rescheduled my procedure in a hospital. Him and his staff are very responsive to messages and answered all my questions and concerns.

I had a head injury a few weeks ago that resulted in some pretty intense facial damage, including…read morebut not limited to a broken nose. I got a referral to see another Dr at this same office but that Dr was booked out for several more weeks while Dr Lewis had appointments available in the next few days. Perfect! I'll just do that. Easy peasy. Only after my appointment, that consisted of maybe a minute and 15 seconds of the Dr being very nonchalant in the room and 45 seconds of that being him pinching my nose and asking if it hurt. My answer: Yes, very much so. Dr: *continues pinching and putting pressure on broken nose*. After that he tells me that despite my breathing being different now and one nostril constantly feels cold and dry, and uncomfortable, that the broken bones aren't currently mobile so it should be fine, that's just how I'm going to breathe and be uncomfortable now and if in a few years it still bothers me (when it would likely be considered cosmetic and not covered by insurance) I could look into getting it fixed. -__- And that was that... I guess. The staff here were all so friendly from the front desk to the nurses but man did I feel like I got the attention you'd give someone as a courtesy in an elevator and not from a Dr who is probably getting a decent chunk of change to manhandle your broken, busted face. Dr Lewis didn't seem all that interested in treating anything or addressing the pain or discomfort and more concerned with getting in and out as quickly as possible. And sure, the news I got wasn't what I wanted to hear but even if that would've been the case with another Dr (though the emergency room Dr seemed to think differently) I think he could have delivered the information a little better and not just, yeah that's just how it's gonna hurt from now on.

After calls to the scanning company and my insurance company, I find that neither had heard from Drury's office. This is despite assurances via the "Standford Health App" by two MAs (sic) that the orders had been sent. Both the Imaging and Insurance people attempted to call Drury's office, with me waiting on hold and both were NEVER able to get anyone to answer after several 20 minute plus waits on an endlessly ringing phone. My experience was the same, a total of 90 minutes (three calls) with no answer. I finally went in person to the Manager of the Stanford Emeryville operation and he (a nice guy) was able to force the CT scan order through. Now I have to wait another 4 weeks to see Drury and hear his opinion of the scan. Did I mention I have something stuck in my throat!!! Avoid this Stanford Clinic at all cost.

What I *have* been told, by Dr. Drury himself, in a series of vm messages from 7 months of phone tag, is that the number I'm calling is one that is not frequently monitored, that he is busy at a family reunion, that he is busy at a funeral, and finally that he recommends an in-home sleep study, since the in-office study was normal. My daughter's in-office sleep study was *not* normal, or we would not have been referred to him in the first place. He can walk on water and intuit patient conditions and have the best bedside manner on earth, but none of this matters if this is how he chooses to do business.

Dr. Li: 5 stars. Office: 0…read more I made an appointment six months ago, then took the morning off work for it. Today when I showed up, the receptionist asked if I knew it was canceled. Well, no: obviously not. She said they left a voice mail the day after we scheduled it. I have no trace of this, and they absolutely did not follow up in any other way. When the receptionist asked if I'd like to reschedule, I declined. Why bother? If that one gets canceled, too, no one's going to tell me about it and I'll end up standing there like an idiot again. Dr. Li is great. I won't be returning to this office, though.

I saw Dr. Lewis,…read morewho I have no complaints about so far, and he diagnosed me as needing to have tubes put in my ears, which came as no suprise. I then had to get a hearing test and it took forever. Then, I had to wait to see Dr. Lewis again, and that took forever too. After seeing him again, he told me that I needed to schedule the tubes to be put in with the front desk. For the life of me, I do not know why every since medical secretary has a major attitude, but they always do. And this one was no exception. She let me wait for like 5 minutes before she even spoke to me, and then it was to tell me to sit in the lobby while she found an appointment. When she called me back, she told me he didn't have anything available and that she would call me tonight or tommorrow after talking to Dr. Lewis about his availability. I never got the call and when I called to follow up, the phone rang for about 3 minutes, and then I tried again, and got some message about the phones being down. I left a message and of course, haven't heard anything back. So, I am stuck, with no hearing. No way to get ahold of anyone who will help me, and I dont want to wait for another two weeks to see an ENT and get a new hearing test and then wait another two weeks to get tubes put in. Frustrating!
