We worked with Erin Betts Events for our August vineyard wedding in Murphys, CA and could not have been happier with our experience. Erin provided full-service planning for our wedding and was incredibly professional, responsive and detail-oriented. We were living in New York City and planning to hold the wedding at my family's vineyard in Murphys, so we needed someone on the ground who really knew the area and vendors and could communicate concepts and logistics efficiently over phone and email, as well as make the most out of limited in-person visits. We were so impressed with Erin's ability to perfectly understand our vision, the look and feel we were going for based on just a few phone conversations, two in-person visits and some back-and-forth feedback on Pinterest images. All of that to say, even a just moderate amount of guidance goes very far with Erin. In terms of personality, Erin struck a good balance between being personable/fun/making us feel comfortable and being very focused and getting down to business. She enabled us to enjoy the planning process while also keeping us on track. Erin is also a straight-shooter and will give you a sense of what is do-able and what might need adjusting. In those cases, however, she never seems to say "no", but rather a "what about this approach"...and they are usually really great ideas. On the day of the wedding, Erin and her team were amazing. So patient with guests and moving the schedule along perfectly. Erin runs a tight ship without anyone really noticing--every scheduled piece was totally on-time! During the reception dinner we inevitably would have guests coming up to us, one after the other, to congratulate us and chat, which is expected. As a result, we really weren't eating and needed to move onto the cake cutting or something. Erin, very smoothly, would kindly interrupt and get us back to finish our dinner so that we could move on. I really appreciated that because we as the couple don't really want to cut these conversations short. I would absolutely recommend Erin and her team for events in the area. Erin is amazing! As an event producer and DJ I work with a lot of planners and Erin is one of my favorites! She is laid back but so on top of it. Erin is the absolute best! After having to postpone our wedding for a year due to the pandemic, she stuck with us and was so helpful and communicative throughout our entire 2 year planning process! Throughout our wedding weekend at Union Hill she was literally always there when I needed her and had the most assuring and calming presence! She also did an incredible job setting everything up and giving me decor pointers as that is not something that I am very good at! My husband and I had an amazing experience with Erin as our planner for our wedding at Union Hill Inn! We were both incredibly busy with work in the months before the wedding, and Erin helped make sure that we had checked all of our boxes before the event. She helped to wrangle our crazy wedding party during our rehearsal and make sure everyone knew what to do. On the day of, she took care of everything, including the many details that my husband and I forgot to figure out! Our wedding went smoothly all thanks to Erin. Writing this review using my husbands account, Erin is amazing! She coordinated our wedding day with me from start to finish. She helped me figure out what type of style we were going for, among tons of other details. She was always a peaceful answer to any problem or concern I had. I don't even know where to begin... Erin is amazing!!! Out of the many decisions we had to make during wedding planning, the BEST decision was to hire her for our wedding. We got married at Union Hill Inn in Sonora and it worked out great because Erin is very familiar with the venue and its operation. Erin is absolutely the best. I am so glad I chose her to help me with my big day. Erin was so great! I am so glad I was able to find her as my wedding planner. I live in Las Vegas and I did alot of research for a good wedding planner in Sonora, California.
